Now Newark, New Jersey residents are outraged that $187,000 of their money will be used to pay for policing Whitney Houston’s funeral: Nearly 200 cops were on hand to keep the crowds away from the singer’s glitzy ceremony on February 18. While celebrities like Kevin Costner and Alicia Keyes paid respect to the singer in New Hope Baptist Church, thousands of residents grieved in the cold outside. Now CBS reports the city will foot the overtime bill for the cops that stood outside the church, the funeral home and the reception after the service. One Newark resident, Quincy Ruffin, told CBS that the star’s family should pay. Another resident Minerva DelValle said: “I think it was a waste of time and then now we find out what happened and how she actually died, it makes you think twice saying: ‘Was it worth it or not?’” As RadarOnline.com previously reported, “yayo” was found in Whitney’s system and in the hotel bathroom where she died. Tim Tebow Delivers Easter Sermon The New York Jets NFL star is set to bring a little extra Easter cheer to Georgetown, Texas this Sunday when he delivers the holiday sermon at Celebration Church. In preparation for the athlete’s weekend talk, the church tells local news outlet KVUE that they will erect bleachers outdoors on its 60-acre grounds to accommodate an expected crowd of 30,000. “Obviously it’s our Super Bowl,” pastor Joe Champion told KVUE in Austin. “Easter is the resurrection of Christ, which we celebrate in our faith. We feel like it’s going to be a testimony to the community. We want it to be a family event.” Set to speak for 20 minutes at the 10 a.m. service, Tebow, 24, was not originally scheduled to chat with parishioners on Easter Sunday, and pastor Champion is unsure as to why his church was chosen as the one Tebow would visit. “There will be the sacredness of Easter. Law enforcement sources tell us, Bynes was attempting to pass a cop car in her black BMW … when she sideswiped the right rear panel of the vehicle. She was pulled over and cops determined she was not fit to be behind the wheel. We’re told the 26-year-old actress was busted at 3 AM … she’s still behind bars. According to her booking sheet, Bynes is 5’7″ and 125 lbs. Her bail has been set at $5,000.
