Easter Bunny Arrested For Drug Possession SMH… Bunnies gettin’ high off more than just hops One Easter Bunny was arrested this week after police found he was carrying around more than Easter eggs and candy. Joshua Lee Bolling, 24, was arrested and charged on Thursday with illegally possessing prescription narcotics. Police arrested Bolling after businesses at the Piedmont Mall in Danville, Virginia complained that the Easter Bunny was acting suspicious. “His suspicious behavior took place while he was on breaks and not during his contact with children,” a police release said. Mall security tailed Bolling, eventually catching him with pills they say he did not have a prescription for. Bolling was not hired by the mall but was contracted by a company as part of their Easter festivities. Police did escort him away from the scene so that he would not be arrested in front of the children. We didn’t know the bunny moved that white too. Now Newark, New Jersey residents are outraged that $187,000 of their money will be used to pay for policing Whitney Houston’s funeral: Nearly 200 cops were on hand to keep the crowds away from the singer’s glitzy ceremony on February 18. While celebrities like Kevin Costner and Alicia Keyes paid respect to the singer in New Hope Baptist Church, thousands of residents grieved in the cold outside. Now CBS reports the city will foot the overtime bill for the cops that stood outside the church, the funeral home and the reception after the service. One Newark resident, Quincy Ruffin, told CBS that the star’s family should pay. Another resident Minerva DelValle said: “I think it was a waste of time and then now we find out what happened and how she actually died, it makes you think twice saying: ‘Was it worth it or not?’” As RadarOnline.com previously reported, “yayo” was found in Whitney’s system and in the hotel bathroom where she died. According to TMZ reports : A company rep tells TMZ, “We in no way endorse or approve of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner.” Kanye named the song after the cold medicine because he’s so cold to his enemies they need a big dose. As you probably know by now, the song reveals Kanye’s love for his new GF, Kim Kardashian. Theraflu reps did not say they would sue the singer, but their statement includes buzz words — image and likeness — that are often used in legal proceedings. And this is priceless. In the statement, the Theraflu rep adds, “Theraflu is an over-the-counter product used to help relieve cold and flu symptoms that millions of consumers rely on.” We doubt Theraflu will actually sue Ye, it sounds more like they just wanted an extra opportunity to pitch their product. Sportscaster Lamar Hurd Aims To Be First African-American Star Of ABC’s “The Bachelor” We’re not gonna lie — we’re not big fans of ABC’s “The Bachelor” and a lot of the reason why is because we’ve felt like it wasn’t for “us.” So we can’t help but be excited about this Lamar Hurd character who is now vying for the spot for Season 17 of the show. Here’s a little more info: Last year show creator, Mike Fleiss told Entertainment Weekly that he and his production team are always looking to cast for ethnic diversity, “it’s just that for whatever reason, they don’t come forward. I wish they would.” Well look no further, Portland-based sportscaster Lamar Hurd is vying to become the show’s first African American hopeful. Initially the multifaceted commentator and entrepreneur was reluctant to apply for the show’s upcoming season, but thanks to his assistant, Tammy, Hurd has a different point of view.
