Jeremy Roloff Announces Exciting New Project

Jeremy Roloff officially has two babies on the way. One of them is an actual baby, as the former reality star and wife Audrey announced this month that they’re expecting a second child . The other, as we just learned, is a professional baby; a new project about which Jeremy sounds very excited and about which he has now written extensively on Instagram. “As most of you know, I love photography,” Jeremy wrote to open this announcement, continuing as follows: “It’s always been a passion of mine, so much so that I studied it professionally and received a bachelors degree in professional photography and after school continue to pursue commercial photography in Los Angeles.” Jeremy, of course, walked away from Little People, Big World just about a year ago. He and Audrey emphasized at the time, however, that fans would be seeing them plenty and hearing from them a lot over the subsequent few months. And, boy, have they been correct! Audrey and Jeremy now host a podcast and recently landed on the New York Times bestseller list with their memoir, “A Love Letter Life.” Jeremy isn’t content, though. He’s adding another line to his ever-growing resume. “Audrey and I [have been] dreaming of working together and combing our talents in a more specific way,” he writes now. “Once we finally took the leap, I started doing most of our Always More shoots, all of our photo management, and most of our design work. Over the years many have asked if I’ll ever come out with Lightroom presets, and we’ll, they’re here!” Meaning what, exactly? Says Jeremy: “I just launched my first preset pack: HISTORY⁣.” A preset is basically a picture that has been edited for better clarity and composition. Jeremy is saying that he’s basically come out with a unique photo album. “There are 6 presets in this pack and yes, it comes with BOTH the mobile and desktop versions, for a very affordable price,” he promotes here, adding: “And they’re $20 dollars off for launch week! Also included two (2) instructional .PDF’s for BOTH the mobile and desktop versions as well as a YouTube video about how to use them.” You can learn more and you can make your purchase via JeremyRoloffPresets.com. Concludes Jeremy of his new project: These were designed to give a nostalgic vibe while also remaining somewhat pure & clean. I’m super happy with them as these are what I’ve been using on my feed (and so has Auj) for months now. If you want some Lightroom presets to make your photos looks amazing, visit jeremyroloffpresets.com. There you can view the before and after slider examples and see more about them. ⁣Enjoy! Jeremy and Audrey are parents to an almost two-year old named Ember. She’s featured everywhere on Jeremy’s Instagram page and also in his preset album. Said the latter upon confirming her pregnancy on July 1: “Baby #2 is coming in January!!! Ember is gonna be a big sister! We are so grateful and excited for this little blessing to join our family.” View Slideshow: Jeremy Roloff Confesses to “Rough” Stretch in Marriage, Thinks He Has a Solution

Stop The Violence: 24-Year-Old Dad Shot To Death On Basketball Court

The senseless violence needs to stop. Dad Fatally Shot In Park According to C And G News What prompted the May 5 fatal shooting of a 24-year-old Clinton Township man was not clear at press time, but what is for sure is that the man was fatally shot in the chest on the basketball court at Clinton Township’s Prince Drewry Park. According to one longtime family friend of the deceased, the alleged shooter and victim believed to be involved in the incident used to be friends. “They were going back and forth about an incident that had occurred last year,” said Yolanda McCoy, a longtime family friend of the decedent’s mother. “They started out as friends.” McCoy, a Roseville resident, said she did not know the specifics of the argument, but said she had known both men as children. Clinton Township investigators allege that Terry Lamont Wilson Jr., 20, of Clinton Township, shot Willie Dion Clark, 24, of Clinton Township, once in the chest around 6:50 p.m. on the park’s basketball court. Prince Drewry Park is located next to Robbie Hall Parker Elementary School on Quinn Road, east of Gratiot. Clinton Township Det. Capt. Richard Maierle said his department and U.S. Marshals Service tracked Wilson down and, with assistance from the Battle Creek police, arrested him around 8:45 p.m. May 8 at a housing complex in Battle Creek, where he was staying with a cousin. Wilson was denied bond during a May 9 arraignment in 41-B District Court, according to the court. A preliminary examination is scheduled for May 22. Two others were arrested for harboring a fugitive, Maierle said. Maierle said police interviews revealed varying accounts as to what ultimately prompted the shooting. But whatever the case, an argument reportedly ensued that evening and Wilson allegedly shot Clark once in the chest before fleeing the scene. After the shooting, Clark’s brothers took him to McLaren Macomb hospital in Mount Clemens, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, Maierle said. There were reportedly about 20 to 30 other people in the park at the time, including Clark’s 2-year-old child and two brothers. Clark was one of 10 children, McCoy said. McCoy said the 24-year-old Clark had lived his entire life in the neighborhood surrounding the Quinn Road park, even attending Robbie Hall Parker during his elementary school days, she said. Clark had two children, ages 5 and 2, she added. The evening following the shooting, on May 6, friends and family held a candlelight vigil for Clark at the park. Wayne County Circuit Court records show that Wilson was released from a two-year probation term in July 2012 for a 2010 charge of breaking and entering a vehicle, with damage to the vehicle. Wilson already had one warrant out at the time of the shooting for an alleged probation violation, Maierle said. This is first shooting-related death in Clinton Township since December 2011, when a 23-year-old Highland Park man was lured to an apartment complex and shot in a robbery gone wrong. The two culprits were found guilty by a jury for the crime and sentenced to life in prison. Anyone with information is asked to call Clinton Township police at (586) 493-7847 or (586) 493-7840. Hibernating Off The Grid At Wilbur Hot Springs

photo: Ricardo Vacapinta under a creative commons license As colder temperatures crept into the Bay area this weekend, my toes began to get that familiar chill and I started to dream about hibernating until Spring. One place that alleviated this feeling and the countdown until Summer (201 days!) was Wilbur Hot Springs. I’m reluctant to sing Wilbur’s praise, for fear that it will soon become too difficult to obtain a same day reservation, but the natural hot mineral waters and lack of cell phone reception, make it a perfect winter weekend escape from rainy day blues. … Read the full story on TreeHugger
