Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers are very much back together, but his health prospects are much more up in the air than their romantic status. The Real Housewives of Orange County stars have been living together as Brooks battles cancer , but he tells Radar that the arduous battle continues. According to Brooks, chemotherapy treatments to treat his “aggressive” cancer (Stage 3 Non-Hodgkins lymphoma) don’t seem to be having any effect. “I am sick,” Ayers, who has battled the illness since 2013, admitted. “I do feel bad, but it’s mind over matter a lot of times. You gotta stay the course.” Six months of chemotherapy and a largely liquid-based diet later, Gunvalson’s live-in boyfriend says he was hoping things would have improved by now. “When the test results came back, the numbers haven’t changed substantially,” he revealed. “They haven’t gotten worse, but they haven’t gotten better.” “That was kind of disheartening, to be honest with you.” “ I’m not so sure my body is responding to chemotherapy ,” he admitted. “At least the cocktail that I was doing. I’m not sure it responded like it needed to.” Ayers says he’s faced with three options, starting with an “aggressive form of chemotherapy” that would mean 3-4 days a week of treatment for months. It’s that, an experimental stem cell transplant, or a holistic approach, which one of their Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars is helping him with. “Shannon Beador’s been very much in our corner, putting us in contact with a lot of unbelievable world-renowned holistic physicians,” he said. “We’re exploring that and with that would come no chemo. It would be addressing and taking what I’ve been doing with the holistic diet and an infrared sauna.” “It’s just assessing what my mentality, my body responds to and it’s been quite a daunting mental task,” the reality star admits, but he still has Vicki. That, more than anything, gets him through the day these days. “She keeps me up and going and it’s been good rather than just routine, monotonous life. That’s not what we’re about. This week on Manzo’d With Children Season 1 Episode 4 , Albie and Lauren had a falling out, with Caroline giving them 24 hours to make peace. Lauren and Albie have always been close, but they’re at odds here, with her saying he always plays the victim, calling him “dramatic” and “pathetic.” “I don’t think Brittany’s the right girl for him,” she says of his new girl, which sort of triggered this rift the previous week in the Garden State family. Albie told Lauren, apparently, that she’s a toxic person he doesn’t want her in his life anymore, and that he’s going to date whomever is right for him. His mom tells him to go apologize to Lauren, regardless. Lauren thinks no one sees her side and how this is affecting her, and that the family is always taking Albie’s side. Mom wants to throw them both out. If you watch Manzo’d With Children online and saw the Brittany situation unfold, you know she might not be the best fit with this close-knit group. Still, Albie feels trapped by others’ expectations, and it appears Manzo’d With Children Season 1 Episode 4 is the culmination of a lifetime of this. His family has been hard on Brittany, he says, by judging her solely on her appearance, though he admits having the same concerns about Brittany. Christopher, meanwhile, helps Caroline with her sauce as she muses about how he makes her happier and she just needs his presence to keep her sane. Later, Caroline talks to Al about the incident between Caroline and Albie, and Al is a little bit more sympathetic toward his son’s plight than she. “My point to you is this: it ends here,” Caroline says, while Al adds they did a great raising the kids, and that they have what it takes to rise above this. Finally, they make up, as Lauren says she’s just being honest and wants to be able to say whatever she wants to her family members with no consequences. He says he doesn’t want anyone controlling his life, and that he doesn’t really want Lauren out of the picture, but just wants to be able to live comfortably. See? Was that so hard?
Producers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are cleaning house and the show will soon be without Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, according to reports. The powers that be are gunning to replace them because they’re just not exciting enough … make out sessions and/or fights with Brandi Glanville notwithstanding. Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, the shot-callers believe, are simply not involved enough in the bread and butter story lines to justify key spots in the cast. Sources say there’s apparently a 95 percent chance they’re toast . It became obvious Joyce and Carlton were on thin ice during the reunion show taping earlier this month, when all the other women displayed great chemistry. Joyce and Carlton were the clear outsiders of the crazy crew. The latter is very interested in returning for Season 5 if she gets asked back, while it’s unclear how Giraud feels about the show and her role on Bravo. What do you think? Unfortunately for Caroline Manzo and her family, Christmas cheer is in short supply this year: The Real Housewives of New Jersey star wrote on Twitter Wednesday that her beloved dog Austin has passed away. “Dogs are FAMILY…rest in peace, Austin. We all love and miss you,” Manzo wrote, adding: “RIP my beautiful little puppy, you were so loved. Santa has a new sidekick.” We weren’t aware that Santa was deceased, or that he flew his sleigh with dogs as opposed to reindeer. But still. We feel the Manzos pain and our heart goes out to them. However, because episodes are taped ahead of time, viewers may still get to see Austin in action next year. Bravo has already filmed many episodes of the spinoff “Manzo’d With Children,” some of which sources say includes Austin. So at least the adorable little guy will sort of live on for awhile longer. Treat him well, Santa.
For one reality star, the rumors are now a, well, reality. Following last night’s Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion , Caroline Manzo took to Twiter and confirmed that she’s leaving the franchise. Caroline Manzo Versus Teresa Giudice! “It’s been wonderful guys,” Manzo wrote. “I’ve decided to leave #RHONJ this season was my last. Love and kisses to you all. xoxoxo.” Rumors of Caroline’s departure first cropped up in September, but it’s not as if she’s saying goodbye to Bravo viewers: the network has signed Manzo to a spinoff hilariously titled Manzo’d with Children . But Manzo insists she isn’t leaving for her own fortune or fame. This move is all about integrity. “Over the past few years my outlook on the show has changed from something I couldn’t wait to show my future grandchildren to something I hope my future grandchildren never see,” she blogged, later adding: “For me, peace and integrity cannot be bought with money or fame… I simply feel that my role has run its course and I have nothing more to give.” Manzo was one of the program’s original cast members and will likely be missed by many viewers. For some reason.

Yes, a sequel to the original hit – which was based on a wildly popular children’s book – is now in release at a theater near you. Should you take your kids to a showing?
