It involves the sidewalks of New York City. A seemingly abandoned stroller. And what appears to be an innocent baby inside, waiting for concerned citizens to check on him. Glee star Cory Monteith was found dead Saturday. He was just 31. Vancouver police found Monteith dead after he failed to check out at noon from the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel. Staff went to check on him and made the discovery. It’s been reported that he was “clearly deceased” at the scene. According to investigators, he was in the room Friday night with some friends before the group went out on the city, then came back early Saturday alone. No foul play is suspected in the death of Cory Monteith, whose rep confirmed the worst in a statement in the hours after this story broke: “We are so saddened to confirm that the reports on the death of Cory Monteith are accurate,” the rep said. “We are in shock and mourning this tragic loss.” What led to his tragic passing is unclear, however. Police said “it was not immediately apparent” what caused his death. An autopsy is set for Monday. Monteith voluntarily checked himself into rehab earlier this year, admitting he had substance abuse issues. It was his second time seeking treatment. He had been dating fellow Glee star Lea Michele since 2012. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.

T.I. is speaking out about his friend Lil Wayne and BLASTING celebrity news site TMZ for misreporting the severity of his seizures – allegedly. The rapper told his followers on Twitter that he had personally called to check on him, and also gave the following interview about the Weezy situation: T.I. Blasts Lil Wayne Report TMZ reported last night that Lil Wayne was in critical condition after a sizzurp binge, was placed into an induced coma and being read “his last rites.” They have since removed the last rites bit from their article, but have not retracted or clarified any other details surrounding the allegedly dire situation. Family members and close affiliates of Lil Wayne immediately took to Twitter to slam TMZ; Weezy himself also posted a Tweet saying he’s okay. This was just hours after he was allegedly breathing through tubes in the ICU. Bizarre developments all around, since TMZ has broken countless exclusives, is generally very accurate and certainly not in the business of being wrong. What really happened yesterday? We may never know for sure, but it’ll be interesting to see if any more info is released that sheds light on the reports. A grand jury cleared the cops who electrocuted, threw the N-Word at and fatally shot a black veteran asking to be left alone. Of course. Here’s some video showing that the victim, Kenneth Chamberlain Sr., was perfectly fine and needed no medical assistance, although the cops who killed him insisted they were just trying to check on him.
