Diddy Arrested On UCLA Campus Diddy just can’t seem to just act like a normal father when visits his son at UCLA. After hopping into the pool butt naked in front of all Justin’s college friends just a few weeks back, the mogul has now gotten taken into custody by campus police for getting too aggressive after the football game. Justin plays defensive back for the Bruins, and Diddy dropped by to watch his son hit the field. Apparently Diddy wasn’t feeling the way the coach was screaming on his offspring during the game…and decided to snatch him up in his office after the game. Via TMZ : P. Diddy has been arrested for allegedly getting into a fight with a football coach at UCLA … where his son is on the team, TMZ Sports has learned. We’re told Campus Police took the music mogul into custody early Monday afternoon. Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, is a defensive back on the team. We’re told the fight went down at the UCLA athletic facility. One source says an assistant coach was screaming at Justin on the field during a strength and conditioning session. We’re told the coach “was riding Justin, screaming intensely at him.” Diddy watched the whole thing from the sideline. At some point later, we’re told Diddy confronted the coach in his office and grabbed him. Diddy was arrested for assault. A source connected with Diddy tells TMZ Diddy himself initially wanted to call police, but the phone was taken out of his hands. Diddy is still in custody at the campus jail. SMH! Diddy turns up to the max every time he hits Justin’s campus. Maybe he should limit his visits just to parents’ weekend?
Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested this morning, but if you’re thinking the hip hop mogul got wrapped in something even remotely gangsta (like, say, beating up Drake ), think again. Mr. Combs’ son Justin is a defensive back on the UCLA football team, and apparently Diddy is in full helicopter-parent mode these days and has taken to attending the team’s practices and workouts. Witnesses say things started to go awry at today’s strength and conditioning session when an assistant began shouting at Justin. This didn’t jibe with Diddy, who proceeded to get in the coach’s face. Things escalated from there, and Combs’ is now facing assault with a deadly weapon charges after allegedly attacking the coach with a kettlebell weight. As of Monday evening, Comb remains in custody at UCLA’s on-campus jail. “No one was seriously injured and UCPD is investigating,” said UCLA in a statement. “Combs is expected to be transported to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Inmate Reception Center later this evening.” This is the second violent incident that Diddy has been involved with in the past six months. Back in December Drake was hospitalized after allegedly scuffling with Combs outside of a club in Miami. There’s no word on yet on when Diddy will receive a bail hearing and be released from custody. The account is already tweeting about the Coach Core charity, “giving young people aged 16-24 living in London the chance to become the next generation of inspirational coaches.” To celebrate and further promote the charity, Prince Harry met with New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony to congratulate the graduates of the program. The handle also shared a funny picture of Harry posing with former NBA star Dikembe Mutombo, who is a bit taller than the ginger to say the least. “Prince Harry stands on his tiptoes but still fails to measure up to 7ft 2in @officialmutombo at #Coachcore graduation,” the caption to the picture reads. @KensingtonPalace joins existing royal handles @BritishMonarchy and @ClarenceHouse. NBC is about to announce some news that is totally bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S. Bananas: Gwen Stefani will take over for Christina Aguilera as a judge on Season 7 of The Voice. The network itself is yet to confirm the switch, but sources tell TMZ that Aguilera will be too far along in her pregnancy (8-9 months) by the time the Season 7 Battle Rounds begin to effectively participate. Enter the former No Doubt singer. She’ll swoop down into a fancy red chair in June when new episodes start filming. Stefani’s deal is only for one season and Aguilera hopes to be back for Season 8. Monday marked the anticipated partner “switch up” night on Dancing with the Stars, plus the return of guest judge and former pro dancer Julianne Hough. The results?
