Justin Bieber was hospitalised with breathing difficulties on Wednesday (12.01.11). The 16-year-old singing sensation was taken to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California after suffering an allergic reaction while shooting a guest appearance in TV drama series ‘CSI’, but was discharged just 50 minutes later. His representative said: “He is fine. He had a mild allergic reaction while they were wrapping up on the set of ‘CSI.’ His doctor met him at the hospital to make sure everything was OK. He was released within the hour after his doctor declared him fine. He is back on set working. All is well.” Despite his medical emergency, Justin made no mention of his hospital visit when updating fans about his day on twitter. He simply posted: “Ok last day on the set as a bada*s. Gonna get deadly today.” Justin – who has been romantically linked with Selena Gomez – recently admitted he can’t live like a “regular” kid because he can’t afford to take a break when he is tired or ill because of his commitments. He said: “It’s hard to really balance myself. A regular kid, if he catches the flu, he just gets to go home. But I can’t do that . Everything is important. But, you know, my sanity is important, too. Even if I’m angry, I’ll just put a smile on my face and fake it. I don’t often fake it – what’s me is me. I know I have to give up a lot of myself, or a lot of a private life.”

Just a few days removed from a hospitalization for a rumored suicide attempt , Fantasia Barrino is getting back to work. The singer’s new album, “Back to Me,” comes out on Facebook and Amazon today, which means scheduled promotional appearances the artist will fulfill. In a statement, Fantasia says: “I can’t thank my fans enough for their prayers and support during such a challenging time. It has given me the motivation to get back to work and honor the commitments I made to promote Back To Me. I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this album and I pray that everyone enjoys it as much as I do.” The challenging time to which Fantasia alludes is based around an alleged affair with Antwaun Cook, as well as a possible lawsuit from his spurned wife and the rumor of a sex tape between the couple. Over the weekend, Barrino and Cook were filmed together by a VH1 camera crew. This has caused many to speculate that the recent drama in the singer’s life has simply been concocted for Fantasia for Real , the reality show still set to premiere on September 19. We’ll leave that for readers to debate and simply say for now that Barrino’s promotional appearances kick off on August 24 on Good Morning America . She’ll then perform later in the month on Lopez Tonight , Live with Regis & Kelly and The Wendy Williams Show.

Previous reports that Kennedy would appear in next ‘Transformers’ film denied by actor’s representation. Cinema Blend reported earlier this week that both actors were in — the Dempsey news came from a translated interview with a Brazilian outlet and the Kennedy news came from an appearance he made on an Arizona radio station. MTV News reached out to Kennedy’s representation for confirmation, and they replied with the following statement: “This was taken out of context from a radio interview where Jamie mentioned he had auditioned for ‘Transformers 3’ and as a huge fan of the franchise, would love to be a part of it. At this time Jamie is in no way attached to the film.” No other details about Kennedy’s involvement are known, including the part he auditioned for in the first place. The Dempsey news comes from Paramount, via Variety , which is also reporting the studio’s confirmation that shooting will get going on “Transformers 3” sometime this month. Stars Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox are, of course, returning. Dempsey, who revealed that he’ll play a “dark” character, will fill the role of Fox’s boss. Before he joins director Michael Bay and his fellow “Transformers 3” actors on the set, Dempsey will first fulfill his commitments to the indie comedy “Flypaper.” He stars as a guy who has a crush on a local bank teller (Jessica Biel) and ends up trapped in said bank during two simultaneous robberies.
