Is Avatar Star Sam Worthington Going To Be The Next James Bond?

The lead actor of Avatar, Sam Worthington, has been tipped to be the next 007 in the heat of the news that the 23rd Bond film has placed on indefinite hold. Worthington was tested for the James Bond role prior to Daniel Craig’s casting. The bookmaker William Hill has made the 33-year-old 5/2 favorite to take over the role if Daniel Craig will not return for his third installment in the series. However, Craig is expected to return as Bond for another film. The continued uncertainty regarding the future of the MGM studio had prompted Bond producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli to announce that work on the unwrapped film would halt.
