Random Ridiculousness: Asian Man Has 19 Surgeries To Look Like Superman Including Skin Bleaching!

Dayum homie . Man Has Surgeries To Look Like Superman This is the problem with society today: no one is happy being themselves. According to Mail Online When Clark Kent wanted to transform into Superman, it was a fairly simple task. He would step into a phone box, spin around and the transformation would be complete. But Herbert Chavez’s change has taken a bit longer – through 16 years of plastic surgery. The 35-year-old, from Calamba City, Philippines, has had nose jobs, skin whitening, lip liposuction, jaw realignment, pec implants and even abdominal implants to become a real-life Clarke Kent after falling in love with the TV programme aged five. He has splashed around 300,000 Pesos (£4,400) on his obsession – a fortune compared to the average 90p hourly wage in the Philippines. Mr Chavez regularly takes to the streets around his home dressed in full Superman regalia, with his hair gelled in distinctive curly fashion. He aims to teach kids good morals while also brightening their days. He said: ‘I feel like a Superhero whenever I pull on the costume, but my mission is not to save the world but to help in my own small way and bring a smile to the faces of local children. ‘I don’t have any regrets at all. People come up to me in the street all the time and want their picture taken with me. ‘They are all really excited to see a real-life Superman in the Philippines.’ Wtf? But his distinctive look has not come easily, with Herbert going under the knife repeatedly to copy every last feature of the super hero he worships – right down to his chiselled chin. And Mr Chavez admits it is tasking trying to keep up with such a ‘perfect’ person. He added: ‘If you talk about super heroes, the expectation of people is that they are flawless, they do not get hurt, they do not die. Herbert now plans to keep improving his look with more operations to make him taller and surgery to beef up his abdomen and bum. But he acknowledges that there may be a day when he has to halt the extensive surgeries. Mr Chavez said: ‘I totally don’t have any regrets. What is there for me to regret? Everything that has happened in my life has been positive and because of Superman. ‘When my body says it can not endure it anymore or when my doctor says that my body can not handle it because of age, then I will stop.’ At least we know who he is trying to look like. Lil Kim has had God knows how many sugeries and we still haven’t figured out who she’s trying to be. Barcroft India

Eff A Skeleton Face Tatted Thug: Illinois Man Popped For Robbing 28 Storage Units

Meet Adam Roberts, one of our favorite mugshots of all time. Adam was arrested for allegedly stealing from storage units. Via SplashNews : Roberts, 24 was busted by cops in Godfrey, Illinois after 28 storage units were attacked and electronics stolen. Police are hoping his distinctive look will help them track down other stolen items they’ve yet to recover that they believe he’s sold. He’s facing three felony burglary charges. “It’s the oddest thing I’ve ever seen in 20-plus years of law enforcement,” Captain Mike Dixon of the Madison County Sheriff’s Department said of the tattoo. “I’ve seen horns on foreheads and stars on necks, but I’ve never seen a skull on a face. I can’t explain it. It’s just odd.” He added, “There probably isn’t another guy out there with that tattoo, so if they bought something from someone with a skull tattoo, it’s probably this guy.” With a grill like this can you see Adam making money through any other means than a life of crime, riiiiiight? Elsewhere In The World: Australia Becomes The First Country To Adopt New Law That Places Graphic Images On Packs Of Cigarettes

Still wanna light up?? Australia Adopts Law That Puts Graphic Images On Cigarette Packs Australia’s highest court on Wednesday upheld the world’s toughest law on cigarette promotion, meaning tobacco companies will be prohibited from displaying their logos on cigarette packs that will instead feature images of cancer-riddled mouths, blinded eyeballs and sickly children. The High Court rejected a challenge by tobacco companies who argued the value of their trademarks will be destroyed if they are no longer able to display their distinctive colors, brand designs and logos on packs of cigarettes. Starting in December, packs will instead come in a uniformly drab shade of olive and feature dire health warnings and graphic photographs of smoking’s health effects. The government, which has urged other countries to adopt similar rules, hopes the new packs will make smoking as unglamorous as possible. “Many other countries around the world … will take heart from the success of this decision today,” Attorney General Nicola Roxon told reporters after the court ruling. “Governments can take on big tobacco and win and it’s worth countries looking again at what the next appropriate step is for them,” she added. British American Tobacco, Philip Morris International, Imperial Tobacco and Japan Tobacco International are worried that the law will set a global precedent that could slash billions of dollars from the values of their brands. They challenged the new rules on the grounds that they violate intellectual property rights and devalue their trademarks. The cigarette makers argued that the government would unfairly benefit from the law by using cigarette packs as a platform to promote its own message, without compensating the tobacco companies. Australia’s constitution says the government can only acquire the property of others on “just terms.” We’re not sure how well something like this would go over here in America considering how many politicians that tabacco lobbyist have in their pockets, but we’re sure that won’t stop some lawmakers from trying. Would Dr. Martin Luther King Approve Of Hip-Hop’s Current State?

Martin Luther King, Jr. still remains an iconic and towering figure of the African-American Civil Rights movement, his distinctive timbre still ringing in the minds of anyone who has ever heard one of his many recorded speeches. King’s assassination in April of 1968 took place at a pivotal time, just a scant five or so years before the early seeds of Hip-Hop were being planted by a teenaged Jamaican immigrant named Clive Campbell, who went on to become the legendary DJ Kool Herc. Happy 38th Birthday Pharrell!

Excerpt from:

Pharrell Williams , one-half of The Neptunes production team, celebrates his 38th birthday today.  Pharrell may have only fully been part of the mainstream music consciousness for the last 10 years, but he’s been hard at work for nearly 20 years. Take a look back at some of Pharrell’s early work! In 1992, Pharrell wrote Teddy Riley ‘s rap in the hit Wreckx-N-Effect single “Rump Shaker.”  The song sold over 2 million copies and hit number 2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart. In 1992, Pharrell rapped on a rare remix of SWV’s “Right Here.”  Part of his verse was later chopped up and used on the hit “Right Here/Human Nature” remix. Pharrell also co-wrote and co-produced Blackstreet’s 1994 single “Tonight’s The Night” featuring SWV and Craig Mack. Pharrell’s work with SWV continued on their 1996 single “Use Your Heart”, which Pharrell and his Neptunes cohort, Chad Hugo, wrote and produced. Pharrell and Chad Hugo co-wrote and produced Total’s single “When Boy Meets Girl” in 1996, which became a minor R&B hit. However, the distinctive Neptunes sound began to really take shape with Ma$e’s 1997 single “Lookin’ At Me.”  The song was a top 10 hit and helped make Ma$e a household name. The Neptunes hit-making streak really kicked into high gear with Nore’s “Superthug,” released in 1998. From that point on Pharrell became unstoppable, helping produce, write, or remix songs for artists ranging from Jay-Z to Britney Spears to Ol’ Dirty Bastard to Prince, as well as his own solo album and the N*E*R*D projects.  Pharrell also began nurturing talent, beginning with Kelis in 1999, whose first two albums were produced entirely by The Neptunes. Around the same time that Kelis’ debut album, Kaleidoscope , came out, Pharrell was working with Clipse on their first album, Exclusive Audio Footage , which remains unreleased to this day, though one single, “The Funeral,” was released from the project. The story of Pharrell and the Neptunes continues to this day as Pharrell has diversified his interests into clothing lines (Billionaire Boys Club), websites ( Kidult.com ), and furniture design.  We look forward to all of Pharrell’s future projects! Michael Jackson Reality Show Might Help Find Cirque Du Soleil Choreographer

‘There is a huge appetite for people that want to participate in this Michael Jackson tribute,’ Cirque CEO Daniel Lamarre says. By Larry Carroll Michael Jackson Photo: Al Messerschmidt Archive / Getty Images BEVERLY HILLS, California — By now, you may have heard that Cirque du Soleil has unveiled an ambitious plan to bring Michael Jackson back for a series of high-profile stage shows in Las Vegas and beyond. But what you might not know is that these plans will also take the King of Pop off the stage and into everything from nightclubs to restaurants to … a reality show? “There’s not a lack of creativity around the table,” grinned Cirque President and CEO Daniel Lamarre when we sat down with him on Tuesday (April 20). “Between [Michael Jackson Estate Co-Executors] John McClain and John Branca and all the creative team at Cirque Du Soleil, we’re already bouncing a lot of new ideas around. “This joint venture is not only for those two shows, but for all of the other initiatives that we can develop together,” he added. “We are already working on the concept of nightclubs, restaurants and other experiences and other types of content that we can develop on the brand of Michael Jackson.” One of the leading concepts is a reality TV show that Lamarre hopes to launch by the end of this year. He describes it as a chance to combine television’s two hottest shows, “American Idol” and “Dancing With the Stars,” with the distinctive style of the King of Pop. “John McClain came to us with the idea,” he said of the as-yet-untitled program, which would have a national audience assisting as they built the Cirque stage shows. “We would pick the best choreographer that there is in the world to work on [our stage] show, but also use them in a reality show in order to find a new, cutting-edge choreographer that could join the team.” The reality show would also audition dancers for the MJ shows, with a certain number of the top contestants landing a Cirque gig. “That could be an exciting moment,” Lamarre said of the show. “Right now there is a huge appetite for people that want to participate in this Michael Jackson tribute.” The Michael Jackson estate and Cirque du Soleil are spearheading the Michael Jackson projects with MGM Mirage, the gaming company that own such Vegas hotels as Excalibur, Luxor, MGM Grand, Monte Carlo and more. Lamarre said that one of the MGM Mirage hotels will host the Las Vegas Michael Jackson/Cirque show, and the venture’s press release mentions that “special lifestyle projects including a nightclub” will be developed. “We are exploring all of those opportunities right now,” Lamarre offered. “We’re at the early stages of those ideas. But we want to make sure that all the fans around the world that want to celebrate Michael Jackson have an opportunity to do it through the experiences we will bring to them.” But if those Michael Jackson-themed restaurants become a reality, Lamarre did make us one key promise: They won’t include moonwalking waiters attempting to balance food trays. “I don’t think anybody can do it the way Michael Jackson was doing it,” he laughed.
