Kim Kardashian has been on a cover shoot/fashion campaign kick lately. The Material Girl turned into The Mother of Dragons over the weekend. In an unexpected Instagram photo, Madonna made her affection for Game of Thrones clear, dressing up like Daenerys Targaryen in honor of a Jewish holiday. “Happy Purim!!!!! All Hail All Queens! ##certainty,” the singer wrote, donning a platinum-blond wig and posing with toy dragons on each shoulder for the occasion. Madonna, of course, converted to Judaism-based Kabbalah in the late 90s and it’s true that Purim often includes the use of costumes among its traditions. Is the artist going a bit far by donning this ensemble? Whatever. At least she isn’t referring to her son as the N Word . Game of Thrones Season 4 , meanwhile, kicks off on April 6. We know at least one famous person who will be tuning in.

Neither the ladies nor the guys have emerged from the What to Expect When You’re Expecting marketing miasma unscathed, but at least now we can get all of our ensemble humiliation out of the way in one convenient new one-sheet. Amazing. The thing is: If we can convincingly fix James Bond up with a bottle of Heineken , then why can’t a major Hollywood studio convincingly Photoshop five stars in the same room? I just don’t get it . And the tagline? “It’s too late to pull out now”? Ugh . The mind reels, the skin crawls. [via Moviefone ] Follow S.T. VanAirsdale on Twitter . Follow Movieline on Twitter .
Are you really sure that you want to spend $10 this weekend on a ticket to see Garry Marshall’s bloated holiday rom-com New Year’s Eve ? (That’s $10 plus the cost of whatever fast food therapy you seek immediately afterward to numb the pain and emptiness you feel after seeing Robert De Niro play a dying man whose only wish is to see the ball drop one more time.) If you think you are, then click through these 10 distressing stills from the set of the ensemble film as a last-minute test. If you get through them without breaking into dry heaves or mild sweats, you’re ready to see New Year’s Eve at the multiplex. Good luck!
