Jon Francetic and Dr. Jessica Griffin: Engaged!

Late last summer, we reported that divorced Married At First Sight star Jon Francetic was dating Dr. Jessica Griffin . They’ve been an item for a while now — since a little over five months after Jon Francetic’s season concluded filming. Now, Jon and Jessica havea  very exciting announcement: they’re engaged! Jon Francetic rose to fame on Married At First Sight , but ultimately ended up getting divorced. But that show still helped him find love, if indirectly — because he’s now engaged to the show’s relationship expert. Dr. Jessica Griffin. “I just love how happy she looks,” Jon writes alongside a sweet photo of the couple on Instagram. “Oh, and we got engaged at the Grand Canyon yesterday!” he announces. “And now @dr.jessicagriffin is mine foreverrrr” Jon then includes the tags: “#shesmine #nervouswreck.” “I have always said,” Jessica writes. “You can find love in extraordinary ways.” She expresses: “you just have to follow your heart and be you, nobody other than you,” “And,” the relationship expert continues. “The right person will find you.” Jessica then jokes: “(if he’s persistent enough and eventually hunts you down and won’t take no for an answer).” She’s joking a little, here. If a man actually hunts you down and won’t take no for an answer, please call the police. “For the first time in my history of knowing him,” Jessica writes. “Jon was at a loss for words and a total adorable mess on his knee.” That sounds so precious. “So, of course, I said yes,” she gushes. Jessica then jokes that she was “just helping a guy out.” Real talk: sometimes, pity engagements happen. But this was clearly not one. “Today,” Jessica shares. “We celebrated yesterday’s Grand Canyon engagement by a sick mountain bike trail ride in Sedona.” Unfortunately, as is always the risk when you accellerate your body on a thin metal frame with minimal protections, things went sideways. Jessica divulges: “where I decided to faceplant via an endo (where you flip head over feet over your handle bars)” “And landed on face,” she admits. “Likely breaking nose, bike landing on top of me and jacked up both legs.” “Hey,” Jessia writes. “In my defense, I was a little distracted by this incredible guy.” She concludes by gushing: “I love you with everything I have.” As we mentioned, they waited more than five months after the season wrapped filming before they began dating. It has now been more than half a year since the two of them announced to the world that they are dating. Some fans of Married At First Sight have been worried that perhaps Jessica unintentionally breached ethical boundaries. After all, she’s an expert with “Dr.” in her name and she’s dating a guy who, some would say, was essentially her patient. But please keep in mind that she was essentially playing a role on a reality television show. She was not his real-life therapist. Nobody’s preying upon someone else or grooming them into some sort of rebound spouse. Two adults just met under unusual circumstances, fell in love, and got engaged. Congratulations to them both! Game of Thrones Season 8 Premiere SHATTERS Ratings Records!

After a wait that felt as long as winter north of the Wall, Game of Thrones returned for its final season on Sunday night. And if you spent the evening cringing when Jon made out with his aunt, or cheering when Bran stared daggers into Jaime’s soul, you certainly had plenty of company. The numbers for the premiere of Game of Thrones Season 8 are in — and they are staggering. Across all platforms (HBO, HBO GO and HBO NOW), a whopping 17.4 million people tuned in on Sunday night. And that number is certain to grow as more viewers return to Winterfell in the days to come. It’s officially GoT’s biggest episode to date, edging out the Season 7 finale , which drew in a then-unbelievable 16.9 million viewers. What may be even more surprising than the multi-platform numbers is the fact that more than 11 million people watched the premiere the old-fashioned way — by sitting down in front of the TV and turning on HBO. That’s the sort of event viewing that rarely happens anymore — and it’s what every network exec prays to the Seven Gods for. It’s also just one of many ways in which Thrones is a throwback juggernaut in the ratings department. These days, even popular shows tend to limp along and lose viewers as they reach the seven or eight season mark. But not Game of Thrones . GoT ratings have been climbing steadily since the very start, beginning with a comparatively paltry 9.3 million in Season 1 and swelling to a whopping 32.8 million for Season 7. (Those figures incorporate delayed viewing, on-demand, and streaming figures.) For comparison, huge network hits like This Is Us and The Big Bang Theory very rarely crack 20 million live viewers — and GoT is putting up similar numbers on a subscription service. In terms of the response from viewers, the premiere was met with overwhelming acclaim. Though there were a few holdouts who seemed to expect more after such a lengthy absence (The Game of Thrones Season 7 finale aired way back in August of 2017.), and felt that the installment had the feeling of a “place-setting” episode that was more concerned with setting the stage for things to come than with delivering an explosive hour of television. And to that we say, [SPOILER ALERT] only Game of Thrones could deliver dragons, zombies, revelations of incest, characters reuniting after seven seasons, and other major characters crossing paths for the very first time — and still have viewers demanding more. Oh, how we’ll miss it when it’s gone. View Slideshow: Game of Thrones Season 8 Photos: Smile, Jon Snow!

Bella Thorne: Looking Hot in Fishnets, (Faux) Million Dollar Bikini Top!

Bella Thorne is no stranger to beautifully colorful hair or to being scantily clad . At this point, that’s kind of her brand. But she raised a few eyebrows at the Billboard 100 Hot Festival on Sunday with her fishnet top and her, um, provocative choice in “undershirt,” if you can call it that. You’ll see what we mean in these photos — because never fear, Bella was sure to share her look on Snapchat. Did you guys know that Bella Thorne has a couple of movies coming out later this year? No, they’re not sex tapes. She’s an actress, you guys. She does movies. Anyway, the Billboard Hot 100 was over the weekend. Bella Thorne attended (no, not with Scott Disick in tow) and she was sporting purple hair with darker roots, which contrasted with her fair skin and corresponded with her pink lips. (W’e’re not sure what to call this purple — it’s just a shade too dark to be lilac, but we’ll accept lilac) The thing is, you know, her outfit. She might not be eating a hamburger in Scott Disick’s yard while wearing a bikini, but she was eye-catching nonetheless. Her top was fishnets, but less like one of those fishnet tank tops and more like a … fishnet poncho? Which is actually kind of brilliant. (Though it might present a very real threat of getting yourself tangled, which is after all what actual nets are designed to do) She’s also wearing a garter belt and thigh-high stockings. Aside from Bella’s super toned abs, the most eye-catching part of her look had to be her faux million dollar bikini. (And no, we do not mean that it cost a million dollars — as you can see) Is Bella Thorne a mess or an icon? We kind of want to say both . In case it isn’t completely clear from the photo, Bella Thorne did not actually take money and destroy it to forge it into a bikini. That’s just, you know, a print. Most people couldn’t get away with something like that without looking like a total dick, but since Bella’s whole look is a statement piece and since she’s estimated to be worth $5 million, she can pull it off. If it were somebody just wearing a money-print suit because they fantasize about being rich, or someone who is rich, you’d seem super lame. We would have found it more intriguing or perhaps artistic if she’d just used, like, some hundreds underneath a fishnet bikini top to cover her nip nops without damaging the bills themselves. But, honestly, that sounds like it would have been a nightmare to keep up. And potentially more revealing than she’d intended to be at the event. (Snapchat photos and attending a party come with very different wardrobe requirements, folks) You know what? Bella Thorne is a super hot celebrity and she’s also still a teenager. If there were ever a time to dress literally however you want, it’s under those circumstances. (Also, in general, we’re advocates of dressing in whatever way strikes your fancy unless you’re dressing like a Nazi or otherwise being s—ty to other people) So, you know, let Bella Thorne be wild, you guys. You’re only young once (until transhumanism makes us all immortal, which honestly cannot come soon enough). Until then, let’s watch Bella Thorne live her crazy, sexy dreams. Game of Thrones Finale Promo: The Gang is All… Where?!?

On  Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 , Dany finally learned the truth… the very hard way: The White Walkers are real. The Night's King is very real. And, yes, it is possible to kill a dragon. How will these revelations impact this Sunday's Game of Thrones Season 7 finale? It appears as though Jon Snow and his friends will go through with their non-sensical plan to convince Cersei of these same truths by presenting her with their kidnapped Walker. In the following trailer, Cersei and Jamie Lannister receive Tyrion, Jon Snow, Gendry, Theon Greyjoy, Jorah Mormont, Davos Seaworth and Brienne of Tarth in the ruins of Dragonpit in King's Landing. We don't see Dany at this meeting, however. “There's only one war that matters and it is here,” Jon Snow warns Cersei, who previously hinted she could see a benefit from a short-term alliance with those seeking her Throne. To what end, we do not know. There's also a shot of Sansa in the preview, as we're likely to get a conclusion on the finale to her annoying feud with Aria. Elsewhere: neither The Hound nor The Mountain appear in the teaser, but fans are speculating that the finale will result in the long-awaited Cleganebowl, a rumored fatal clash between the two hulking siblings. Weeks ago, in the the second trailer for Season 7, viewers saw The Hound draw his sword in the same Dragonpit seen below. So there's one more development to potentially look forward to. Check out the promo now and ask yourself the obvious question: Who will die on the finale?

Kim Kardashian Meets Chrissy Teigen’s Daughter, Earns "Auntie" Status!

Chrissy Teigen took her baby girl Luna out to Malibu today, where they were joined by another famous pair. Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West had lunch with Teigen and her tot, dining on the patio at world-famous Nobu. Teigen took to Snapchat to share the photo above of Kim cuddling little Luna. “Auntie!” she wrote in the caption. Adorable! The model additionally shared a video of Kanye smiling (yes, Kanye smiled!) and holding the baby as Kim tugged at her feet. There’s just something about baby feet, amiright? Does this mean Chrissy and husband John Legend might have a new babysitter(s)? Last month, Chrissy came under fire from critics for leaving Luna with a sitter and going out to dinner with Legend about a week after giving birth. “The spotlight pull be strong,” wrote one user. “One week. Who wants to leave a one week old baby to go to a bar?” But Chrissy clapped back, as she does, by re-posting the hate-fueled tweets and writing, “I went to dinner. People are pissed. Good morning!” After the fallout, Legend earned Best Husband Ever status by questioning why the haters targeted his wife, but not him. “ Funny there’s no dad-shaming ,” he tweeted. “When both of us go out to dinner, shame both of us so Chrissy doesn’t have to take it all. We’ll split it.” Chrissy has been pals with Kim for some time, and the reality star shared many mommy tips with the model during her pregnancy. Kim even threw Chrissy a posh baby shower in April. Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 6 Recap: Benjen’s Back, Back Again

Most shows save big events like the deaths of beloved characters for season finales, but not Game of Thrones . D.B. Weiss and David Benioff went and killed off Hodor  in a midseason shocker last week, leaving many to wonder if the show would be able to continue upping the ante with “Blood of My Blood.” One thing most fans hoped the show wouldn’t do going into this year is get too deep in the weeds with the mystical mumbo-jumbo, but thus far Bran and Arya’s storylines have been two of this season’s most compelling. Not only have they made for pulse-pounding drama (see: “Hold the door!”) but they’ve helped to demonstrate how some of the more arcane aspects of the show’s elaborate mythology tie into the current fight over the Iron Throne. Nowhere is this better demonstrated than in Bran’s flashback that takes place while he and Meera are fleeing some seriously aggressive White Walkers. View Slideshow: Hodor Shocker: The Internet’s Best Reactions to Game of Thrones’ “Hold the Door!” Scene His visions cover everything from his own near-fatal fall at the hands of Jaime Lannister to the lunatic rantings of “the Mad King” Aerys II Targaryen. Bran’s haphazard warging is interrupted by a real-life blast from the past, as a man who looks a lot like Benjen Stark swoops in to save the day (and confirm a popular fan theory ). From there, it’s back to the ’90s sitcom that is Sam and Gilly’s mismatched love affair. At first it looks like his return home will go smoothly, but you had to know that wasn’t gonna last… With the Internet’s gnashing of teeth and rending of garments over the death of Willas (aka Hodor), it’s easy to forget that last week’s episode promised a major conflict at Margaery’s scheduled walk of shame. It seems at first that Tommen’s queen has actually been taken in by the High Sparrow’s sanctimonious BS, but based on her reaction to her brother Loras’ lowly state, we’re guessing she’s got something up her sleeve. The gods may have a plan for us all, but something tells us Margaery has several plans for the High Sparrow. Predictably, the Tarley family reunion goes awry when Sam’s father does his douchey thing, and Gilly accidentally spills the beans about being a Wildling. Is it just us or did the convo about whether or not White Walkers exist remind anyone else of a Thanksgiving argument about global warming? Anyway, the good news is that Sam’s mom is every bit as cool as he always claimed. The bad news is that his dad is every bit as dickish as we were led to believe, and he promptyl gives his son the boot while allowing Gilly and Sam’s child to stay. View Slideshow: Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 6 Photos: Life in a Post-Hodor World Just as it looked like Sam would be cowed by his dad once again, he returns for Gilly and peaces out with the family sword, thus providing one of this season’s most satisfying “f–k yeah!” moments. Hell, we enjoyed Sam’s revenge almost as much as Arya enjoyed watching the re-enactment of Joffrey’s death. Almost. As the show goes on (complete with a poop-joke heavy cameo for the always-fantastic Richard E. Grant) it looks like Arya finally is finally going to carry out one of her ordered assassinations. Unfortunately (or fortunately, if you’re that rum-loving actress), it seems The Girl just doesn’t have what it takes to be a hit woman for a freaky cult. It’s always tough to give up on a dream (even when that dream is taking lives for the Many-Faced God), but we’re glad to see the return of the old Arya (and Needle!) After Arya turns tail, it’s finally time for the showdown at King’s Landing. Or at least it would’ve been, were it not for the fact that Tommen is thoroughly under the spell of Margaery’s vagina, and in this case it’s told him that Bernie Sparrow is leading a political revolution. (Just joshin’, Senator Sanders!) (Side bar: The show is primarily about the battle for the Iron Throne, and we’re guessing the average casual viewer couldn’t tell you the name of the current king. Just a thought.) From there, it’s the return of Walder Frey, a character who was missed by exactly no one. As if one unpleasant reminder of the Red Wedding wasn’t enough Walder trots out the Catelyn Stark’s brother, Edmure Tully, who is apparently being held captive at the Twins. What does it mean that Walder is using him as a tool to regain Riverrun? It’s not totally clear, but we’re sure it’s not good news for Edmure or the Blackfish. This season has done an incredible job of intertwining seemingly unrelated storylines, and that’s never more apparent than when we learn that the banished Jaime Lannister is being “sent to deal with the Blackfish” on Walder’s behalf. Jaime is understandably pissed that the High Sparrow has won over his son, but we’re having trouble being sympathetic. Maybe it’s because this episode featured a flashback to that unfortunate little incident in which he crippled Bran for life. Speaking of Bran, he and Meera are back on the road, this time with the mysterious stranger who, to the surprise of absolutely no one, turns out to be Benjen Stark. It seems the writers are going for the “most storylines in a single episode” record this time out by briefly checking in with Daenerys and her ever-expanding khalassar. Naturally, she swoops in on her newly-recovered dragon and gives a stirring speech in Dothraki, because this is the Season of the Badass Final Scene. Despite the many ways in which this episode moved the plot forward “Blood of My Blood” might be the most uneventful installment of Season Six thus far. And that’s okay. We’ve been needing a chance to catch out breath, and place-setting episodes of GoT are usually followed by something seriously epic. At the very least, hopefully we’ll get some freakin’ Tyrion next week! Watch Game of Thrones onlin e to remind yourself of who the hell the Blackfish is. Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 3 Recap: The Starks Remember

In case you missed last week’s episode  (and avoided all forms of media for the past week), the big twist that shocked absolutely no one finally went down on Game of Thrones . Watch Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 3 Online Yes, Jon Snow is alive and…not well exactly, but he’s doing alright for a guy who got stabbed a few dozen times and woke up to find that someone gave him a summer bob cut while he was out. The aftermath of the Lord Commander’s resurrection could’ve been a shark jump moment for the show, but creators D.B. Weiss and David Benioff kept the tone sufficiently dark (What did Jon see while he was dead? “Nothing.”) while at the same time conveying the astonished joy of the moment. (It’s nice to see an emotion displayed at the Wall other than seething, bloodthirsty rage.) Hell, they even delivered a little comic relief with a well-timed dick joke. (This still Game of Thrones , after all.) All-in-all it was a deftly handled sequence following a “twist” so anti-climactic it was lampooned in an SNL sketch this week. As Jon readjusts to life among the living, Sam and Gilly are sailing the high seas in low fashion. Sam’s headed for the Citadel; Gilly (much to her surprise) is bound for his childhood home. An odd choice, considering everything we’ve heard about how terrible Sam’s upbringing was, but hey – at least his mom is nice? After that, we get to a scene that Thrones fans (or Throners, as we like to call them) have been awaiting since the R + L = J theory first started circulating around the nerdier corners of the web. View Slideshow: 8 Best Game of Thrones Season 6 Fan Theories! Unfortunately, like Bran in warg form, we get stopped short just as we’re about to learn the truth about what really happened to Ned Stark’s “kidnapped” sister Lyanna. Frustrating, yes, but at least there was a badass sword fight first. Speaking of throwback moments, remember when Daenerys noshed on that stallion’s heart in Season One? The most badass of the Dothraki widows does, but that doesn’t mean she’ll let the Khaleesi go! Instead, her storyline continues to inch forward at a glacial pace, as we cut to another casual demonstration of power from Varys, who uses his powers of persuasion to procure some information about the rebellion against Dany and her army. Meanwhile, Tyrion tells Missandei and Grey Worm, “The history of the world is a history of great conversations in elegant rooms,” but it’s also a history of power struggles that turn into badass battles, which seems to be what’s about to go down in Meereen. Back in King’s Landing, Qyburn is using Varys’ tactics (and a little help from the terrifying hulk that is the undead Ser Gregor) to gather the necessary information to justify “crushing the High Sparrow’s head like a grape.” (They’re a poetic lot, those Lannisters.) Elsewhere, King Tommen is taking a more direct approach by confronting the Sparrow – and succumbing to his weird, sanctimonious brand of intimidation. That’s followed by more of the ugly side of religion (Is there any other side in Westeros?), as Arya gets beaten into telling her life story – a scene that somewhat heavy-handedly underscores the fact that this episode is all about coming to grips with the past. We’ll let you come to your own conclusions about how doing so literally opens Arya’s eyes. After that, get more blasts from the Stark family’s past as Rickon and Osha resyrface in the most unfortunate of places. Sure, it’s Winterfell – but it’s now under control of the new acting Warden of the North, Ramsay Bolton. It’s doubtful, but hopefully he’ll show the boy more mercy than Jon showed Ollie (who totally had it coming) when he executes the lad   along with the rest of his attempted assassins. No surprise there – but we finally get a real Jon-related twist when he handed his cloak over to Dolorous Edd and resigned from the Night’s Watch. Phew. Yet another jam-packed episode with a sky-high body count. We’re still on the edge of our seats, but we can’t help but wonder how much longer can the show keep up this pace. Watch Game of Thrones online to try to make sense of everything that’s happened thus far in Season Six. View Slideshow: Game of Thrones Gambling Odds: Wager on Who Will Win the Iron Throne!

American Country Countdown Awards 2016: List of Winners!

Luke Bryan was named Artist of the Year and Chris Stapleton won Album of the Year at Sunday’s American Country Countdown Awards. Meanwhile, Brooks & Dunn reunited outside of their Vegas show to accept the Nash Icon award and perform their smash “Red Dirt Road.” Ronnie Dunn’s response? “So here’s how it goes.” “I wake up in a parking lot tomorrow in a brown, whiskey haze at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas with this Icon award sitting next to me.” “I go, ‘You ain’t no icon. You ain’t no Johnny Cash.” “You ain’t no Merle Haggard. You ain’t no George Jones. You got a lot long way to go skinny boy with a record deal.’ I’m proud of this, thank you!”  Speaking of the late Merle Haggard, Toby Keith, along with Haggard’s band the Strangers, and Haggard’s youngest son Ben, performed. Keith sang a montage of Haggard hits including, “Mama Tried,” “I Think I’ll Just Stay Here and Drink” and “Fightin’ Side of Me.”  The gorgeous Carrie Underwood (above) showed off her moves – and vocal chops, as always – with a live rendition of “Church Bells.” Usually high-energy Florida Georgia Line took it down a couple of notches for a performance of “H.O.L.Y.” as their wives looked on adoringly. Jennifer Nettles, Cam and Martina McBride performed the latter’s 2003 hit “This One’s for the Girls” in an awesome shout-out to women. A good time was had by all, to state the obvious.
