On Friday, Weinstein will hand himself over to authorities to face a number of sex crime charges. The New York Daily News reports : Harvey Weinstein is expected to surrender to authorities Friday to face charges related to alleged sexual misconduct in connection to a probe by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office and NYPD, the Daily News has confirmed. The fallen former Hollywood honcho is facing charges in connection to at least one accuser — Lucia Evans — who reported to investigators that Weinstein forced her to perform oral sex on him in 2004, sources said. Because of the nature of the allegations, the statute of limitations does not apply. As the outlet adds in its still-developing report, a grand jury has been assembled to look into matters of financial fraud connected to Weinstein. Rich Homie Quan Hit With Felony Drug Charges Rich Homie Quan is in a bad situation after getting arrested over the weekend, facing charges that could get him put away for a VERY long time. TMZ reports that the Atlanta rapper got booked on charges of felony possession with intent to distribute when cops caught him and five friends with drugs and guns over the weekend. It’s not clear how much weed Quan had on him, but that’s actually neither here nor there in Georgia, where the amount of contraband you have on you doesn’t determine whether or not you’re charged with a felony. For all any of us know, it may have been a small enough amount that it was meant for personal use. Either way, guns were also retrieved, but officers didn’t place that charge on Rich Homie Quan . His bail was set at $20,000. However, if he faces trial and gets a conviction, he could face a maximum of 30 years in prison for the drug charge. SMH! Honestly, you’d think he learned his lesson on the weed front after all the backlash from him smoking a blunt with his baby on his lap a few years back. Best of luck to him on this is really all we can say.
Kelly Clarkson has had a wonderful career that has spanned over fourteen years. Clarkson won the first season of American Idol back in 2002. It’s crazy to think that she’s still as relevant as today as she was back then. Her career has continued to flourish, but Idol did not. The singing competition finally concluded earlier this year after 15 seasons. That’s a great run for any series. You’d think singing competitions would be a bit long in the tooth by now, but NBC continues to find success with two cycles of The Voice every year. Granted, there always seems to be some sort of rift with the judges on the show, but it drums up good ratings. Clarkson has enjoyed a lot of success throughout her career. She’s the first artist from the show to achieve 100 Billboard number 1 hit singles. Yes, that means the star has topped the chart at least 100 times. That’s not an easy task for anyone, so she deserves a lot of recognition for that. That said, Kelly is not about to forget where she came from. She knows American Idol gave her the career she has today. Joining singing competitions was the best way to get noticed in 2002. There was no Youtube for artists to go viral back in those days. Kelly took to Twitter to express her gratitude to the once hot Fox series. She really does have staying power and it’s not often an artist can continue to top the charts after all this time. Kelly recently signed a major record deal with Atlantic Records, so at least we know she’ll continue to release great music. It just goes to show that even though the final few seasons of American Idol were terrible, the show still served a huge purpose. It gave the likes of Kelly Clarkson a start in an industry that’s very difficult to become a star in. Clarkson even appeared on the final season of the Fox hit, but apparently Carrie Underwood was not impressed . Underwood was given a smaller segment than Clarkson. Back in July, former Playmate of the Year Dani Mathers thought it would be funny to take a Snapchat of a naked woman at her LA Fitness gym, and share it. The caption, which read “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either,” shamed the fellow gym patron and set off a firestorm that saw Mathers not only banned from a ll LA Fitness locations, but fired from her gig on KLOS’s Heidi & Frank morning show. “Her behavior is appalling and puts every member at risk of losing their privacy,” LA Fitness EVP of operations Jill Greuling told the Los Angeles Times. “Our written rules are very clear: Cellphone usage and photography are prohibited in the locker rooms.” Now, TMZ has learned that the LAPD has located the victim in the photo – described as a woman in her 70’s – who is ready to fully cooperate with the case, which includes testify against Mathers. The charge, if issued, is Dissemination of Private Images, which is reportedly a misdemeanor which could carry a 6-month jail sentence. LAPD officers want to make an example of Mathers, whom they believe tried to shame someone who was trying to better herself. As for Mathers, who was named Playboy’s Playmate of the Year in 2015, she issued an apology on Snapchat soon after the incident. “I just want to acknowledge a photo that I accidentally posted. It was absolutely wrong and not what I meant to do,” the 29-year-old said in the video. “I chose to do what I do for a living because I love the female body and I know body shaming is wrong, that’s not what I’m about and this is not the type of person I am. “The photo was taken as part of a personal conversation with a girlfriend and because I am new to Snapchat I didn’t realize I had posted it, and that was a huge mistake. “I know I have upset a lot of people out there but please believe me this is not the type of person that I am. “I have never done this before and I will never do this again, you have my word.” Users on social media didn’t believe Mathers apology, accusing her of only being sorry because she got caught. Even former Girls Next Door star, Kendra Wilkinson told TMZ that Mathers’ decision was a “stupid f–king choice,” and refused to even defend the Playmate. “That’s a huge mistake. No one should be taking pictures of anybody who they don’t know,” Wilkinson said. “And if it’s in the privacy of a gym … That’s why I don’t change at a gym, because I get scared of that.” Mathers thought issuing yet another mea culpa (in addition to her Snapchat video) would somehow win her a few points. “I’m sorry for what I did,” she wrote on Twitter. “I need to take some time to myself now to reflect on why I did this horrible thing. SMH… Men Steal $41,000 Worth Of Chicken Wings Remember when we told you about those Georgia warehouse workers who stole $65,000 worth of chicken wings ??? Well not to be outdone, there’s a father/son duo out of New York who pilfered $41,000 worth of bird. Why? To sell on the street and to competitors of course. Syracuse.com reports: Two employees of a Syracuse restaurant are accused of stealing more than $40,000 in chicken wings and selling them to other restaurants and “on the street” for a poultry sum, according to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff’s office spokesman Jon Seeber said Paul Rojek, 56, and Joshua Rojek, 33, of Syracuse, billed approximately $41,000 of chicken-wing orders to the Twin Trees Two restaurant’s business account between February and late November. The father-son pair was employed there as cooks, Seeber said. The pair would pick up the orders and re-sell them on the street or to other local establishments for a reduced price. They would later destroy and withhold the sales transactions receipts for those orders, Seeber said. They’re facing charges including grand larceny in the third degree and falsifying business records in the first degree. They appeared in court Nov. 24 where a judge set their bail at $2,500 cash or bond. So is this like black market bird??? Really??? What do YOU think about this father/son stealing wings???
Actor Casey Allen Moss was arrested on Monday on assault charges. According to multiple reports, the Days of Our Lives actor was taken into custody in Scottsdale, Ariz., after allegedly attempting to punch a bartender. Around 12:30 a.m., Arizona police were called to the W hotel in Scottsdale. The 21-year-old daytime soap star allegedly started an argument with a bartender. The disagreement initiated when a bartender cut him off for the night. When police arrived, it was evident Moss was highly intoxicated. According to local news station ABC, Moss was taken into custody and transported to a local jail. He is facing charges of assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. Fox reports that Moss was released from the Arizona jail on Tuesday. He is scheduled to be in court for an arraignment on November 2. This isn’t the first time a Days of Our Lives star has been accused of criminal behavior. In May 2013, Dylan Patton was arrested for distributing cocaine . Is there something in the water that makes people crazy in Florida? Woman Stabs Woman For Stopping Her From Attacking Ex-Boyfriend’s Girl SMH. According to NBC 2: A 22-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times during a fight while attending a Redneck Yacht Club event Saturday night. The victim, Amy Rachel, was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and released. Authorities say the suspect is 19-year-old Jessica Hess, of Riverview, Fla. She was taken to a Charlotte County hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Investigators say Hess attacked a woman she saw riding on an ATV with her ex-boyfriend. When Rachel tried to step in to stop the fight, Hess allegedly stabbed her with a three-inch pocket knife. After the attack, Hess allegedly said, “I hope you die.” The other witnesses didn’t know what she meant until they noticed Rachel bleeding. A witness drove her to a medical station at the venue. Hess was arrested after she was released from the hospital. She is facing charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Women need to learn to let that old peen go…it’s not worth going to jail.
