One father went the extra mile(s) this Christmas , booking six different flights to spend the holiday with his daughter, who works as a flight attendant. Delta Airlines attendant Pierce Vaughan wasn’t able to take the day off for Christmas Eve or Christmas day, so her father Hal decided to join her. He used his accrued miles and points to spend the holidays with her in the sky as she completed her job for the rest of the Christmas travelers on board. Their absolutely adorable story went viral after one passenger shared  it on Facebook , after sitting next to Hal on the plane and realizing exactly what was going on. “I had the pleasure of sitting next to Hal on my flight back home. His daughter Pierce was our flight attendant who had to work over Christmas,” Mike Levy wrote on his Facebook with a selfie of himself next to Hal. “Hal decided he would spend the holiday with her. So, he is flying on each of her flights today and tomorrow around the country to spend time with his daughter for Christmas. What a fantastic father! Wish you both a very Merry Christmas!” What a fantastic father, indeed. And as you could probably imagine, people on Twitter ran with this story and everyone agrees: this is the most wholesome thing ever. One Twitter user got emotional, mentioning the fact that her father–who passed away almost a decade ago–would have done something exactly like this. She tweeted, “My dad passed away 7 years ago but this is something he would have done..I love reading sweet stories like this. It sounds like her dad is a wonderful man. Most of us don’t want to spend a few hours on a flight just to get to our destination–so staying on a plane for 2 days straight to hang out with a loved one takes things to a whole new level. 77-Year Old Black Woman Assaulted On A Plane By White Man, Forced To Move HER Seat [Video]

Ryanair is catching hella flak over a recent racial incident that took place on one their flights from from Barcelona to London on Friday. A white old man apparently had an issue with a 77-year old Black woman sitting in the same row as him, so in true racist Wypipo fashion, he raised hell. He said to the Jamaican woman, “Don’t talk to me in a foreign language, you stupid ugly cow! Ugly black bastard.” The passenger who filmed the disgusting incident, David Lawrence, told Newsweek he was unhappy with the airline’s response which he described as “absolutely incompetent and unprofessional. Ryanair doesn’t care.” Instead of kicking the man off the flight, the airline asked the woman to move to another seat, in order to keep the peace. After being called out for being careless and unprofessional, Ryanair has since turned the issue over to Essex police.  SMH.

Muslim Family Kicked Off Plane Due To ISIS Suspicion We’ve heard of Muslim passengers getting kicked off planes because their mere presence makes bigoted people nervous. True to form, all it took was the shaky suspicions of an unknown passenger to to get one young woman and her sister — both wearing hijabs — booted from an EasyJet flight and questioned by authorities over possible affiliations to ISIS for over an hour. Airline Finds Out What Passengers Want For Christmas, Leaves Presents at Baggage Claim

In a story so wonderful it could only happen in Canada, an airline recently asked its passengers what they wanted for Christmas via electronic Santa chat boxes. WestJet then arranged to have those gifts waiting for them at baggage claim. Airline Provides Christmas Miracle For Passengers In a video released Monday, the Calgary, Alberta-based airline set up its “Santa boxes” in terminals at both the Hamilton and Toronto, Ontario, airports. WestJet travelers giggled at the chance to talk live with Santa through a screen, and parents and children alike tell him what they want for Christmas. While the flights were en route to Calgary, WestJet’s hard-working elves picked up everybody’s Christmas wishes, from “socks and underwear” to “a big TV.” When they got to baggage claim, tired travelers received the ultimate shock. Their luggage, and big blue boxes with names on the front and their dream Christmas gifts inside, came on the carousel as faux snow fell and tears were shed. Hey, the Big Man in Red does live pretty close to the airline’s headquarters, which are among the coldest of any modern city on Earth. It’s convenient. For the overjoyed passengers , the personal touches just kept coming, too. Among them: A giant gingerbread man waddling around the luggage belt eating cookies while this went down. What a difference a year makes! Khloe probably ended up with a little indigestion along with her dinner last night. Via US Weekly : Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom were decided to grab a late-night meal at an NYC restaurant on Monday, March 4 the same night Kim Kardashian’s estranged husband Kris Humphries was dining there, a source tells Us Weekly. According to the insider, Humphries was having dinner with a large group of friends at Catch in NYC’s Meatpacking District when Khloe and Lamar arrived. The couple of three years were initially unaware that Humphries was there, and were seated at the opposite end of the main dining room. However, the source tells Us that Khloe, 28, spotted Humphries when he stood up to greet a friend joining his group. She “immediately looked down and used her cocktail menu to hide her face,” the insider says. Khloe and Lamar, 33, ate quickly and never engaged with their estranged brother-in-law before leaving the restaurant. The source tells Us that Humphries didn’t seem bothered during his meal and was having a good time. Kim, 32, filed for divorce from the 28-year-old NBA player in October 2011 after 72 days of marriage. Humphries countered with annulment based on fraud, and the two have been involved in a lengthy divorce trial since. On Feb. 15, however, a judge ruled that the former couples’ trial will begin May 6. Kim is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West, and Khloe said her sister’s divorce “needs to get over already.” “He’s, in my opinion, delusional,” Khloe said of Humphries on Watch What Happens Live on Jan. 31. “I don’t know why he’s asking for anything? He’s fame-hungry, in my opinion. He wants money . . . I just think everything he’s doing is so — it’s just gross to me.” That’s such a shame, especially because Catch is a great restaurant to have a nice leisurely meal. TSA Announces Plans To Begin Allowing Small Knives On Flights Almost 12 years after the 9-11 terrorist attacks that changed American history forever, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has announced plans to begin allowing small knives, golf clubs and hockey sticks to be brought on board. via CBS New s Small knives are set to be permitted in carry-on luggage on flights, in a change to current guidelines announced by the TSA today. Knives with blades no more than 2.36 inches in length from tip to where the blade meets the handle or hilt will be approved for carry-on. The blade must be no more than half an inch in width. The TSA also announced toy bats and sporting equipment such as hockey sticks and golf clubs will also be allowed on board aircraft. The TSA said the changes were made after a committee had reviewed the agency’s prohibited items list. “This decision aligns TSA with International Civil Aviation Organization standards and our European counterparts,” the TSA said in a statement. The changes are set to come into effect on April 25. But the changes were opposed by two industry groups. The Flight Attendants Union Coalition, representing nearly 90,000 Flight Attendants said the decision was ”poor and shortsighted”. ”Continued prohibition of these items is an integral layer in making our aviation system secure and must remain in place,” said the union in a statement. For about a month now I have had a plan to work A LOT of overtime in order to buy my 12 year old little sister’s friend a Justin Bieber concert ticket. My sister and I have had our tickets for almost 5 months and her little friend, Danielle, REALLY wanted to go so I decided that, no matter what, I was going to find a way for her to go to this concert with us. I told her I had a surprise for her and that it was “Top Secret” and we teased her for awhile until today (4 days before the concert) and let me tell you, this reaction & the smile on her face at the end of this video made all the long hours, very few days off, and very exhausted nights SO worth it!!! Never Say Never. Three simple words that Justin Bieber uses on a daily basis to teach us to always follow our dreams and never give up. And I never did. I have been following Justin’s career for quite a while but didn’t become a massive Belieber until ‘Never Say Never’ when I could understand his story and his messages. It was from then on I was in love and a committed Belieber. ‘Down To Earth’ got me through a really hard year and my parents divorce as I could relate to the lyrics. That was a very important song for me in 2011 and still is as it helped me survive and stay strong. I turned 18 on March 13 2012 and I decided to get a Justin Bieber tattoo and got lyrics from ‘Down To Earth’ on my arm. I changed the lyrics slightly to: “We will meet in the middle on our way back down to earth.” Then in July 2012 Justin came back to Australia and visited Sydney and Melbourne. I booked my flights down to Sydney to just hopefully get a glimpse of seeing him live and luckily enough also won tickets to see him perform live at his exclusive Sunrise concert. My friend Marie won Channel V comp to meet Justin and see him live at the intimate show and decided to take me as she needed someone over 18 and wanted Justin to see my tattoo and hear my story.  On the Sunday I flew down to Sydney and booked a hotel room at the hotel we though he may have been staying at (sadly he wasn’t, oh well got to stay at a 5 star hotel for a friggen good deal). On the Monday night he flew into Sydney and we went around to all the hotels trying to find him until we heard that he was staying at Star City. No sign of Justin. Then Kenny came out and I went up and introduced myself and thanked him for giving me tickets last year to see Justin Live. (I was waiting outside the venue to catch a glimpse of him and didn’t have tickets but Kenny gave me and my 5 friends tickets.) I explained I felt bad as I never said thank you that night as I was crying and screaming too much and felt so badly. Kenny was like, “Thank you man, that’s all good,” and promised to come back for photos as there was now a crowd around us. When he came back out he got MOBBED. I did later on get a photo and he remembered me and I saw Alison, Scrappy, Dan and Alfredo. After no luck we went back to our hotel. The next morning I went to go to the intimate show and my meet n greet. We got 3 rd row during the show and he was just brilliant. I couldn’t stop crying. After the show we had our meet n greet and it was very rushed. We got taken up in groups of 6 and all the 5 girls I was put in a group with were all over Justin and I was at the back of the group with my hand over my mouth, in state of shock. Kenny was standing next to me, looked at me and goes, “Oh hey man,” shakes my hand, grabs it, walks over to Justin, moves all the girls out of the way to introduce me to Justin (KENNY REMEMBERED ME)! I was like, “Hey Justin how are you?” and he was said, “I’m great thanks and you?” I was like, “Im fantastic, sorry I’m shaking,” and he laughed. I then said, “Your music means so much to me thank you so much and I got this tattooed, it’s lyrics from Down To Earth,” and Justin was like, “That’s rad! Omg.” I then hopped in the photo and he was saying goodbye to the girls then shook my hand and was said it was nice to meet me. I walked around the corner and fell on the floor crying. I then had to put myself back together and head back to Circular Quay to continue lining up for another 12 hours to see him at Sunrise. Justin came on and was supposed to perform 3 songs but stayed on for 2 hours and did 10 songs, answered questions and interacted so much. He kept staring at me and smiling as I was just crying and a complete mess. It was quiet between a lil break and I started chanting “Down To Earth” pointing at my tattoo and the crowd joined in. Dan and Justin both looked at me and was like okay and played the first verse of Down To Earth before they were interrupted by Sunrise saying they were about to go live. After the show, we checked out of our hotel, grabbed lunch and decided to head back to my Nana’s for the night. My friend Shannon and I hopped in a cab and halfway there I got a call from my friend Sara saying Justin was about to leave his hotel and go to the airport to meet her there so we could try meet him, we agreed. Out of nowhere a black van turned up and out jumped Selena and Justin. We were all calm, Justin and Moshe walked over to us. Once it was my turn I got another hug and explained to him why I got my tattoo and he said, “Thank you so much” and signed it, my CD then we got a selfie together. He is the most nicest ‘down to earth’ people ever. Luckily one of the other boy beliebers there got a video of Justin hugging me and me explaining my tattoo. It was an overwhelming couple of days and a lot of drama but it was all worth it in the end. Nas Tells His Side Of Concert Promoter’s Kidnapping

Rapper opens up about Angola incident for the first time on today’s ‘RapFix Live’ at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com. By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway Nas on “RapFix Live” Photo: MTV News Musically, Nas has given so much of himself during the course of his 18-year rap career. But in the media, the Queensbridge MC is usually reserved and soft-spoken. Still, it was hard for God’s Son to hold back when he was accused of skipping out on a New Year’s show in Africa, which led an American concert promoter and his son to be kidnapped. On today’s (March 28) “RapFix Live,” Nas finally gives his side of the story. “I didn’t want to touch on it because it seemed like he was in grave danger out there,” Nas said Tuesday during the interview, which will stream on MTV.com today at 4 p.m. ET. The promoter returned home safely to New Jersey on February 19. TMZ broke the story January 3 and reported that Patrick Allocco and his son, whom he works with, were kidnapped by local Africa promoter Henrique “Riquhino” Miguel after Nas and an opening act failed to perform at a New Year’s Eve concert in Angola. Allocco’s reps told TMZ that Nas and opening act Jemiah Jai were paid to perform two shows but failed to board their flights. Once Miguel realized that Nas wasn’t going to perform, he sent his people to take Allocco and his son into custody at gunpoint. Nas eventually returned the $300,000 that was paid to him, and Allocco was released and allowed to return back to the U.S. Now, Esco is ready to open up. “Basically he was a promoter that I never worked with, and he wanted me to come to Africa for New Year’s, which, for me, I thought, would be the best way to spend New Year’s. The business wasn’t handled. There was nothing sent to me, and there were no flights,” he said. “By the time he did send money — he did eventually send money to me — but it was too late to go. I didn’t even have a visa to get in the country. So that’s canceled, the show’s canceled.” Allocco, who is now contemplating litigation, has a differing account, contending that everything was in place for Nas to travel to Africa. “Nothing could be further from the truth,” Allocco told MTV News of Nas’ version of the story. “Nas put us in harm’s way by not showing up and put my son and I at physical harm and at risk by his inaction to fly to Angola.” “That was just all wrong. Any time I’m supposed to go to Africa, it happens,” Nas said on “RapFix Live.” “When people take care of business, it happens. … You booked the flight but no return flight.
