Camille Grammer is officially divorced from Kelsey Grammer, and trying her hardest to come across as okay with that. Just hours after a judge make her split from the actor legal, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star released the following statement: “I have a great many mixed feelings about today. I’m sad for what was, yet excited about the road ahead. I’m grateful to my family and friends who have stood by me through this time. I will never forget their love and support. What I most hope is that Kelsey and I can improve our communications and truly co-parent our two wonderful children. And I wish Kelsey and Kayte love and happiness in their new marriage.” Interesting note: If you look closely enough at these words, you can actually see the steam coming out of Camille’s ears when she wrote them.

Ashlee Simpson filed divorce papers to end her marriage to Pete Wentz this week in a move that caught even cynical gossip readers by surprise. The split is being called amicable, but it was her call , sources say, and due in large part to a series of arguments over Pete Wentz’s music career. His commitment to touring with his band had been a sticking point between the two for some time now and finally led to Ashley filing for divorce . It was good while it lasted. [Photo: Pacific Coast News] The 26-year-old former singer was “fed up” with her husband being away from home for extended periods of time and wanted him to focus on being a dad. “Ashlee and Pete would argue constantly about him touring,” a source told Radar . “Since she gave birth to Bronx she hated him being away from home.” “She wanted him to stop the band life and work more on producing music, so he could be around to concentrate more on being a husband and father.” “She hated him being away and said she felt like a single mother.” “When Fall Out Boy went on hiatus things were great and it was just like old times, but Pete formed his new band and then he was off touring again.” “I think that Ash just finally had enough. She put all her musical aspirations to the side to concentrate on being a mom and it is a big bone of contention with her that Pete just swans off around the world with his buddies like he’s a single guy.” “They had a major fight in October before he headed off to Europe, but then tried to make a go of things over the holidays for the sake of Bronx.” “They decided to take a break to both cool off and reassess, and both realized it was bad for Bronx to be around parents fighting all the time.” “Pete is due to head off again on tour in a couple of months and I honestly think Ashlee filed for divorce as a way to shock him into canceling his plans, or at least modifying them and giving in to her demands to be with her and Bronx.” “It’s not going to work though, Pete’s not going to play that game.” “It’s a really sad situation because they do genuinely love each other, and I would pretty much swear that neither of them is seeing someone else – but they just want totally different things in life and neither one is willing to compromise.” Well, there’s your unsourced, anonymous but realistic-sounding update.

‘I really just choose things instinctually,’ the ‘Eclipse’ star tells MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Kristen Stewart Photo: MTV News Kristen Stewart has it pretty good these days. She’s the female lead in one of the most successful movie franchises of all time. She’s managed to continue to do work in smaller films. And she pretty much has her pick of any film she’d like to do next. But the “Eclipse” star said all she’s focused on next in her career is not having to really focus on anything. “I feel less [career pressure] because I’m in such a stellar position,” she told MTV News. “I feel really indulgent, like I feel it’s really cool to be able to say, ‘I don’t know [what I’m doing] for the next couple years.’ I’m gonna focus on being an actor. Like, I want to make movies and stuff.” Stewart does have some projects lined up, including the “Breaking Dawn” flicks and “On the Road,” but she’s not worried about her otherwise-clear docket. “I want to do other stuff, but right now, it’s really cool just being like, ‘I don’t know what I’m going to do next year, but this year I’m doing this.’ I’m doing ‘On the Road’ and ‘Breaking Dawn,’ and that’s all that I know that I’m doing.” Stewart’s next big career choices will be made the way all her other decisions are: from her gut. “I’m not good at planning out my career,” she said. “But if I was, I’d probably feel pressure, but because I don’t and I really just choose things instinctually, I’m not worried about it.” We’ll be live at the L.A. premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” on Thursday, June 24. Despite coming of age in an era where websites and wired fans fawn over her every move and contribute to her fame, Miley Cyrus has no love for the online world. THG has no love for her, so it looks like we’re even! At the very least, you have to give Miley props for practicing what she preaches, having axed her Twitter to focus on being truer to herself and BF Liam Hemsworth . But bashing the Internets in general? Watch it, girl. It’s one thing to call out your critics , it’s another to bite the cyber hand that feeds you, no matter your intent. “I’m telling kids, don’t go on the internet,” Miley told Movieline . “It’s dangerous, it’s not fun, it wastes your life. You should be outside playing sports or something.” EAT IT : That’s basically Miley Cyrus’ message to the World Wide Web . “I just think it’s kind of lame. I feel like I hang out with my friends and they’re so busy taking pictures of what they’re doing and putting them on Facebook.” “They’re not really enjoying what they’re doing. You’re going to look back and have a million pictures, but you’re not actually going to be in any of them.” “Because you’re not having fun, you’re too busy clicking away. So I think just enjoy the moment you’re in, and stop telling people about it. So just enjoy it.” Okay, we have to agree with Miley on that philosophy. It’s very mature. We’re impressed that a huge star can reflect and maintain that kind of perspective. The-Dream Says New Album May Be His Last

The-Dream has been threatening to stop making albums after his next release, Love King , but the hitmaking songwriter admitted his declaration comes with a catch. “It’s the last album, period,” he told MTV News on Monday (March 8). “I really would like it to be the last one if I could — in a perfect world.” The Atlanta native already has two critically acclaimed albums under his belt, 2007’s Love Hate and 2008’s Love vs. Money. And he’s scored a number of chart-topping tracks as the pen behind “Umbrella” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).” His dedication to his craft as a hired songwriter is in part why he would like to finish his run of personal projects after the forthcoming Love King. However, he said, what he wants versus what may actually happen could very likely be two different things. “In the back of my mind, I’m thinking a fighter fights,” he explained. “You don’t retire on top. [Michael] Jordan didn’t retire on top. I’m not saying I’m the best [like him], but I’m the best at what I can do. And I can stop now and say, ‘This album is pretty good.’ ” For Love King, The-Dream said he plans to evolve as a performer. Because of his hectic schedule working with others, he previously didn’t have the chance to polish his skill set like he wanted. He joked about his weight, saying he works better for others when he’s eating red velvet cupcakes — but that diet clashes with his desire to be a slimmed-down performer. “Doing those things [for everyone else] prohibited me from being a certain individual or shedding 10 pounds when I wanted to,” he offered. At the end of last year, the singer hinted at impending retirement when he spoke about his next project. “The first two albums came out and it really was just about music,” he said. “This album, it has to be a lot more — whether that’s marketing, all of the things that the big guys get. We have to turn and put those things on me as an artist also. … Now we have to treat it like it means something to the building. I think everybody is there. We have an incredible staff at Def Jam, of course. Now we gotta buckle up for me and put them dollars up.” Who do you think about The-Dream’s retirement plans?
