Rod Durham Dies; Extreme Weight Loss Contestant Was 52

Rod Durham, a high school teacher who appeared on Season 4 of ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss, was found dead over the weekend in a Fort Lauderdale motel. He was 52 years old. According to the Tallahassee Democrat, Durham was visiting the area during his school’s spring break. While those close to him have speculated that Durham passed away from diabetic shock, his cause of death remains undetermined at this time. “He always made everyone smile — even if you were having the worst day,” Rocky Hana, Leon County Schools administrator, told the newspaper after learning of Rod’s death. “If you saw Rod, your day got better. “His laugh was simply infectious. … Everyone loved Rod Durham. There are tens of thousands of kids today who are broken-hearted.” Durham rose to reality TV fame in 2014 as a contestant on Extreme Weight Loss. He shed over 180 pounds on the program, standing out for his positive attitude and kindness. Extreme Weight Loss trainer Heidi Powell shared a photo of herself and Durham on Instagram in light of Rod’s death and wrote the following as a caption to it: Heaven just got a lot brighter today when Rod entered the pearly gates. While I am selfishly so sad and completely devastated that I won’t get to see him on earth anymore, I am rejoicing for the spirit he is carrying with him and spreading to everyone up there. Kylie Minogue: ENGAGED to Hottie Joshua Sasse!!

We’re thrilled to deliver some very happy news today: Kylie Minogue is engaged to British actor Joshua Sasse! Minogue showed off her gorgeous engagement ring Wednesday on the red carpet at the 2016 NME Awards in London.  At the after-party, Sasse was gushing to guests about their engagement. “Kylie may be keeping tight-lipped, but Josh isn’t as keen to keep it a secret,” a source told The Sun . “He was proudly speaking about his fiancée to several guests and even joked that being with her meant he wouldn’t have any problem getting into parties.” The 47-year-old Aussie singer met Sasse, 28, on the set of his show  Galavant  last September, when she appeared as a guest star. The age gap certainly isn’t a problem for these two, because it looks as though their relationship is moving forward like a “Locomotion.” Apparently, he proposed two months ago. Last week, the pair attended The Prince’s Trust “Invest in Futures” Gala in London, hosted by Prince Charles.  Sasse shared this photo to his Instagram account, writing in the caption, “A wonderful night supporting my Lady and @princestrust” We support this union far more than we did Minogue’s brief affair with Jean-Claude Van Damme , who confessed that the two shared “beautiful lovemaking” while on location in Thailand shooting Street Fighter . Bill Gothard: Male Plaintiffs Come Forward in Sexual Assault Case Against Duggars’ Minister

Back in March of 2014, Institute for Basic Life Principles founder  Bill Gothard resigned in disgrace amidst allegations that he had sexually abused dozens of young women, many of them former employees. In October, five of those alleged victims filed a lawsuit against Gothard  in an Illinois civil court. To the surprise of many, Gothard has stood his ground and refused to settle out of court. Even after 10 more victims came forward  last month, Gothard continued to vaguely admit to some sort of impropriety, but maintained that he was not guilty of any criminal offense. Earlier today, Radar Online delivered another crushing blow to the reputation of the man who’s best known as the former minister of the Duggar family, reporting that three young men have come forward claiming they were repeatedly sexually molested by Gothard beginning when they were as young as 13. With the alleged victim total at 18, the plaintiff’s attorney and many in the media are comparing Gothard’s scandal to that of former TV legend Bill Cosby. Both men admit to behaving inappropriately, but insist that they have not done anything that should necessitate the involvement of the law. “I was very wrong in holding hands, giving hugs and touching their hair or feet,” Gothard said in a recent statement. “I was also wrong in making statements that caused emotional turmoil and confusion. My guilty is compounded by my hypocrisy of requiring standards for others but not following them myself.” Thus far, the Duggar family has refused to comment publicly on the matter. In her pre-breakup days, Kourtney Kardashian was known as one of the more modest Kardashian women. But it looks like those days are over. The reality TV star has been stepping out of her shell (and clothing) of late to show us all what she’s got (and what ex Scott Disick is missing). We’re guessing she wore the piece of lingerie underneath the black lace number she’s rocking in this pic, which she posted on Tuesday with the caption, “Tell everybody I’m back in town.”  KOURT’S BACK IN TOWN! And evidently, she hit the town. And painted it red. If anyone deserves a fun night out or 100, it’s Kourtney. Her baby daddy Scott Disick stepped out and tied one on numerous times during their nine-year relationship. Scott has been trying to reconcile with Kourtney and recently confessed on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, “I’ll never f–king meet anybody more beautiful than her, and I love her.” But he sure has a funny way of showing it. The Lord was seen partying hard with a “mystery blonde” in New York recently, even though Kourtney has made it clear that she will no longer put up with his substance abuse. Angela "Big Ang" Raiola Forgave Estranged Husband on Deathbed, Sources Say

Earlier this week, Mob Wives star Angela “Big Ang” Raiola passed away after battling stage 4 cancer for several weeks. As details of her final hours rolled in, we learned about Big Ang’s final words and the outpouring of love and support that she enjoyed just before her death. Now, Radar Online is reporting that while she may have gained fame as a tough-talking badass, Ang’s final act was one of love and compassion. In the final weeks of her life, Raiola became estranged from her husband, Neil Murphy. She explained in an interview with Dr. Oz that Murphy failed to “step up” during her treatment, and while she knew that she might soon be facing the end, she decided she would rather do so alone. According to Ang’s sister Janine Detore, however, Murphy never left his wife’s side during her painful last days, and before she slipped into a coma from which she would never emerge, Ang told Neil that she loved and forgave him. “My sister would never ever keep a grudge or hard feelings for anybody,” Detore tells Radar. “She was just like that. You could do anything to her and she would be like, ‘Okay.’” Displaying the loyalty and attitude that helped make her sister famous, Detore added: “They didn’t have a fight. My sister was sick in the hospital. Do you really think Neil would fight with her? We would beat the s*** out of him.
