This is not good! Ice-T’s 19-Year-Old Grandson Arrested For Murdering His Roommate Via TMZ reports: Elyjah Marrow — grandson of rapper Ice-T — was arrested after he accidentally shot and killed his roommate … TMZ has learned. Cops tell us … 19-year-old Marrow was fiddling with a handgun in his Georgia apartment Tuesday when it accidentally went off, fatally wounding roommate Daryus Johnson, who was also 19. Marrow was charged with involuntary manslaughter, possession of firearm in the commission of a felony, and reckless conduct. He was also hit with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of a stolen firearm. He is currently in custody. Marrow appeared on his grandfather’s reality show, “Ice Loves Coco.” So far … no comment from Ice-T. Yikes!

Video of day care worker taunting three year old black toddler angers mom. A Connecticut mom is fuming after video of her son being taunted by his daycare teacher was passed around town and landed in her e-mail inbox. Tyesha Reese said the cellphone footage of her son Michael being bullied by his teacher at the Sleeping Giant Day Care in Hamden left her stunned, The grainy cell phone footage clearly shows little Michael getting visibly upset as a worker the station identified as Lindsay Cavallaro recorded the taunt. “Do it. Go ahead. No balls. Oh you’re a tough guy. Hey boss, show me your nine,” the woman can be heard saying to Michael, after the frustrated boy said that he would knock the phone out of her hand. The video was passed around the sleepy suburb of Hamden until someone emailed it to Reese. “It got into someone’s hands who actually saw the video and was like, wait a minute, I recognize whose son this is and that’s when they forwarded it to me and said ‘I need you to see this,’” Reese told WTNH, “And when I saw my son’s face it was just unbelievable, you know.” Reese has pulled Michael out of Sleeping Giant Day Care since discovering the incident. Cavallaro has been put on paid leave while the day care center investigates youtube

Red Hook Summer Movie Trailer By Spike Lee The latest in Spike Lee’s Chronicles of Brooklyn anthology–which also includes “She’s Gotta Have It” (1986), “Do The Right Thing” (1989), “Crooklyn” (1994), “Clockers” (1995), and “He Got Game” (1998)–RED HOOK SUMMER tells the story of Flik Royale (Jules Brown), a sullen young boy from middle-class Atlanta who has come to spend the summer with his deeply religious grandfather, Bishop Enoch Rouse (Clarke Peters), in the housing projects of Red Hook. Having never met before, things quickly get off on the wrong foot as Bishop Enoch relentlessly attempts to convert Flik into a follower of Jesus Christ. Between his grandfather’s constant preaching and the culture shock of inner-city life, Flik’s summer appears to be a total disaster–until he meets Chazz Morningstar (Toni Lysaith), a pretty girl his age, who shows Flik the brighter side of Brooklyn. Man Says TSA Spilled Dead Grandfather’s Ashes During Security Check SMH: An Indiana man says a TSA agent at Orlando International Airport opened a jar carrying his grandfather’s ashes and accidentally spilled about a third of them on the floor while using her finger to sift through the material, RTV6 reports. John Gross says he is asking for an apology from TSA officials and the worker over the recent incident, the Indianapolis TV station reports. RTV6 says Gross was carrying home the remains of his grandfather, Mario Mark Marcaletti, a Sicilian immigrant from central Indiana, in a tightly sealed jar marked “Human Remains.” Gross says he explained to the agent what it was, but that she opened the jar and began sifting through the ashes, eventually spilling about a third of the contents onto the floor. “She didn’t apologize,” Gross tells RTV6. “She started laughing. I was on my hands and knees picking up bone fragments. I couldn’t pick up all, everything that was lost. I mean, there was a long line behind me.” TSA procedures, the TV station notes, call for using X-ray equipment in such cases and that under “no circumstances” are human remains to be opened. 13-year-old Cody Alicea made national headlines recently when school officials at Denair Middle School ordered him to take down the American flag on the back of his bike while he was on school property. Apparently “some students” had been complaining about the flag. Cody had just been trying to honor military veterans such as his grandfather Robert. Well, it turns out that Cody's story struck a major chord with veterans across the United States. As Cody rode his bike to school on Monday, he was accompanied by hundreds of other bikes and motorcycles.
