Kanye West Is Creating New Music Following His Hospitalization Kanye West is free from the confines of the hospital and according to TMZ his creativity is free from the confines of his depressed and paranoid brain. We previously reported that ‘Ye had brought studio equipment to his hospital room because he wanted to continue working while he was in his manic state. Sources close to him say he believes that these traumatic episodes bring out the best in him musically. It’s said that he’s even comparing this latest episode to his infamous car accident and his mother passing. Now that Kanye is back to taking his proper medication he’s been much more stable and may be well on his way to finishing a new album much sooner than later. We know Kanye had announced that he and Drake were recording a joint album, but hope for that project was somewhat dashed when he was hospitalized. Lamar Odom is feeling good enough these days to pose for selfies. Courtesy of his son, Lamar Odom Jr., we now have our first look at the estranged husband of Khloe Kardashian since his hospitalization in mid-October. “Christmas with my pops,” the teenage wrote as a caption to this Instagram photo, which includes his sister, Destiny, and the former NBA standout. “Here’s to 2016. Blessed.” Odom, of course, fell unconscious while on a weekend bender in a Las Vegas brothel this fall, the latest in a sad number of life setbacks. He was rushed to a Nevada hospital at the time before being transferred to a Los Angeles facility, where he has remained ever since. Khloe has spent a ton of time by the side of the ex-power forward, who took his first steps about two months after falling ill. In the family picture featured here, half of Lamar’s face is visible as his children with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales pose behind him. The athlete – who is still legally still Kardashian’s husband – also had a son named Jayden with Morales, his partner of 10 years… but that child died at six months old from sudden infant death syndrome in 2006. There’s no timetable yet set regarding when Odom may be released from the hospital, but at least he is showing signs of progress. We continue to send him our best wishes. Mother And Daughter Charged For Poisoning Family To Death With Antifreeze SMH at the mom’s reasoning for poisoning her husband, son, and daughter to death. A Missouri woman and her daughter confessed to fatally poisoning two relatives with antifreeze and attempting to kill a third over a 14-month period, according to court documents. Diane Staudte, 51, of Springfield, was charged Friday with two counts of first-degree murder, one count of first-degree assault and one count of armed criminal action. Her daughter, Rachel Staudte, 22, was charged with the same counts Saturday. Both women are jailed without bond. A spokeswoman for the Greene County prosecutor’s office didn’t immediately return an email Saturday from The Associated Press. It wasn’t clear if the women had attorneys. Diane Staudte initially told law enforcement that her husband, Mark Staudte, 61, hadn’t been feeling well and suffered from seizures before his April 2012 death, the probable cause statement said. And she said her son, Shawn Staudte, 26, had been sick with flu-like symptoms before his death in September. The medical examiner in Greene County at first ruled that the husband died of natural causes and the son as a result of prior medical issues. But an anonymous tip led authorities to re-examine the deaths earlier this month following the hospitalization of Diane Staudte’s daughter, 24-year-old Sarah Staudte, the statement said. A doctor told the detective that Sarah Staudte’s condition was “very suspicious” and said he suspected the young woman had been poisoned. Diane Staudte admitted under questioning to poisoning her family by putting antifreeze in their soda and Gatorade over several days, the statement said. She told the detective that she killed her husband because she “hated him” and her son because he was “worse than a pest.” She said she wanted to kill her daughter, Sarah, because the young woman “would not get a job and had student loans that had to be paid,” the probable cause statement said. The Springfield News-Leader, citing the probable cause statement in Rachel Staudte’s case, said Diane Staudte originally told police she was the only one involved. But the statement said that when Rachel Staudte was confronted with evidence, she admitted to taking part in the deaths and assault. During a subsequent interview, Diane Staudte then admitted that she and Rachel Staudte had planned, researched and committed the crimes together, the statement said. A snafu at a Minnesota hospital this week resulted in a mom breastfeeding the wrong baby, causing awkwardness and emotional distress for all involved. The mistake occurred after a baby boy at Minneapolis’ Abbott Northwestern Hospital was placed in the wrong bassinet in the nursery, ABC News reports. As a precaution, the baby breastfed by the wrong mom was tested for HIV and hepatitis, and will receive the tests every three months for the next year. The baby has so far tested negative for both diseases . If a child is accidentally fed breast milk from a woman who is not his mother, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends HIV testing. The CDC adds that the risk of HIV transmission through breast milk is small, and the virus is not known to spread through a single bout of breastfeeding. Still, the CDC recommends women with HIV should not breastfeed their children. Neither hepatitis B nor C can be spread through breastfeeding. The baby’s mother,Tammy Van Dyke, told ABC she could not stop crying on the way home from the hospital because of the surprising event that transpired. The incident also left the mother who was accidentally breastfeeding the baby distraught, as she had to wait before hospital staff found her own baby. The hospital gave Van Dyke a letter expressing its sincerest apologies for the infant mix-up, and said it would pay for the baby’s tests going forward.
Brooke Mueller was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital just prior to noon Pacific Time today, but her rep denies reports that drugs were to blame for the latest incident surrounding the troubled ex of Charlie Sheen. Source tell TMZ that Mueller was transported via ambulance from her home in Tarzana, with various insiders alleging they are “deeply concerned” because she has been abusing substances again for weeks. Mueller has long battled addiction and has entered rehab over a dozen times. She most recently relapsed in June and has twin boys with Sheen. HOWEVER, Brooke’s rep has released a statement that cites a different reason for this hospitalization: exhaustion. Naturally. “An assistant thought Brooke was non-responsive while she was napping and hastily called an ambulance. As a precaution, Brooke was brought to a local hospital and discharged after an hour. She was diagnosed with exhaustion and dehydration and is now fine and resting at home. That’s it.” Are you buying this, THGers? Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans never ceases to amaze. The hot mess says she was hospitalized last week was due to lung damage from smoking out of a “toxic wooden pipe” … needless to say, it didn’t contain tobacco. Accusations started flying that she’s on heroin, and Jenelle Evans was oddly silent last week on Twitter and went a long time without setting the record straight. Have no fear, though, she’s back with a vengeance now. About her hospitalization, she says, “I was in there for eight cysts on my ovaries. Right one as big as a golf ball. The ambulance came to my house and got me.” “After going to one hospital I had to be transferred to a bigger one four hours away from my home. Long story short I had immediate surgery to get rid of those cysts.” “Also had lung work done do [sic] to smoking out of kieffers TOXIC wooden pipes. Still having to go back to chapel hill next week to get more lab work done.” Kieffer Delp, her ex-boyfriend, was selling pipes via a website at one point. The heroin story originated from Jenelle’s former roommate Ashleigh, as well as a woman in the hospital who claimed the MTV star has used the drug extensively. Jenelle denies this, and also went after her own sister, Tweeting, “now my psychopath sister that pulls out her hair and wears wigs lies and u believe? Gullible.” Even though Jenelle has admitted to being a chronic pot smoker, at one point this weekend she claimed, “I don’t do drugs” in response to attacks on Twitter. Her fiance, Courtland Rogers , was also accused of Tweeting on Jenelle Evans’ behalf in the hospital and then erasing everything, so … there’s that. Consider yourselves up to date, and confused.
