Chelsea Houska: Another Kid is on the Way!

Chelsea Houska just gave birth on the most recent episode of Teen Mom 2. Viewers witnessed nearly every step of the labor and delivery on screen. Despite having only recently welcomed her third child into the world, however, this veteran realty star isn’t satisfied. She’s ready for more, folks… only maybe not quite so soon this time around. “We definitely want more kids – at least one – but I think we’re going to wait probably a little farther than the last two babies,” Houska tells E! News in an extensive interview about her children and husband. “Maybe when she’s two, we’ll start thinking about it,” she said of new addition Layne. “But there will be more.” The Teen Mom 2 cast member’s oldest child, Aubree, is nine; and her middle kid, Watson, just turned two a few weeks ago. He was just barely a year and a half old when Layne was born, meaning things must be pretty darn hectic inside the Houska/De Boer household in a daily basis, Chelsea confirms as much, but also says that Aubree is old enough to almost serve as a third parent. “Oh my gosh! I honestly think that she makes life so much easier,” says the MTV star. “Having Aubree’s help has been amazing. She loves helping. She plays with her brother when I need her to. She can get his little boots on or something when we’re heading out the door so she’s been amazing.” And don’t get Chelsea started on Cole. Not unless you want to hear a wife just gush and gush and gush and gush over her husband, that is, as Houska has often done in the past . “I mean, Cole is just great all around,” she told E! of her man, just hours after viewers watched Cole be as supportive as can be while he wife pushed through child birth. “I’m more of the laid-back parent and he’s definitely more paranoid and worried all the time, which is funny because it’s usually the mom but I mean, he’s so helpful,” she adds. “He changes diapers. He gets in there. He does it all.” Not everything in Chelsea and Cole’s life is perfect, however, frequent appearances and quotes such as these notwithstanding. Going forward this season, Teen Mom 2 fans will see Chelsea adjust to having three young kids under one roof. We’ll also watch as she faces some major bumps in the road with Aubree’s biological dad, that troublemaker Adam Lind. “I definitely have my own opinion and my own opinion on things, but I have to try my best not to put my feelings out on her,” Chelsea saysc carefully about how little time Adam spends with his daughter. In very diplomatic fashion, she adds: “He’s still her dad. She still has her own feelings about it so I kind of have to keep my feelings to myself and let her have her own little opinion. “I’m proud of her for being so mature, but it’s not even something a kid should have to deal with. “But I think that we’ve always been so open with her and let her accept her feelings and try to explain things to her as best as we can.” Issues surrounding Lind and his inability to co-parent have persisted for as long as Chelsea has been in the spotlight. As we examine down below, it has raised a pressing question among Teen Mom fans: Should Cole just adopt Aubree? Let’s explore… View Slideshow: Adam Lind Lets Aubree Down Yet Again: Should Cole Adopt Her?!

Chelsea Houska, Other Stars: BUSTED Over Instagram Ads!

The Teen Mom franchise has produced a lot of entertainment. It’s also churned out some reality stars who aren’t such great people. Chelsea Houska is one of the exceptions, though. She loves her children and just generally doesn’t come across as vapid or that much of a hot mess. So … color us surprised that Chelsea Houska’s in trouble. Like, legal trouble. Don’t worry — despite what Teen Mom ‘s editors might show you, Chelsea Houska doesn’t neglect her daughter in favor for her baby. In fact, the alleged violation for which she’s been singled out has nothing to do with being a mom at all. Not directly, anyway. Chelsea Houska was one of 21 recipients of sternly worded letters (anything from the government is stern; it’s hard to “smile” in legalese). From the FTC. And it all has to do with Instagram ads. You know, when a celebrity poses with some kind of weight loss tea or talks about how much they love their new, like, makeup kit while showing the kit and saying the name of the brand? The kind of thing that we’ve seen from a bazillion celebs. It’s what got a bunch of haters to slam Amy Roloff the other day. This isn’t about income disclosure. That would be a letter from the IRS and, frankly, probably a lot scarier. But the Federal Trade Commission has had it up to here with celebrities who don’t “properly disclose” their ads. The FTC argues that merely tagging a brand counts as an endorsement. They’re real sticklers about their rules. Just like how pharmaceutical commercials (here in the US, pretty much the only place on the planet where you’re allowed to advertise prescription drugs) have to list all of the many ways that their drug might somehow harm or kill you … Just like how commercials have to list that the people speaking are paid actors (even if it’s in the fine print that nobody reads) … … Instagram ads are supposed to be tagged plainly. With “#ad.” And apparently a number of stars, including Chelsea Houska and Farrah Abraham, haven’t exactly been doing that. We’d question whether anyone old enough to use Instagram is naive enough to think that those transparent advertisements are just celebrities casually plugging products for fun. Like, if someone talks about liking their favorite soda, maybe they just do that. But an Instagram post about it, mentioning the brand and holding up the label for the photo? You’d think that you’d have to be a fool to not realize that, at the very least, that star has gotten some free stuff out of the deal. In most cases, they’re monetizing it. On the other hand … the world is full of fools and they deserve honesty, too. Instagram ads can be a huge source of money, from a regular Instagram model to Kylie Jenner. Whether it’s a fitness model showing off the protein powder that they almost definitely don’t use to a reality star showing off a corset that almost definitely didn’t make her lose weight, Instagram ads are a huge business. We can understand why the FTC feels the need to clamp down … even if “#ad” looks so tacky in people’s captions. We wonder if maybe the FTC needs to reconsider some of its rulings, though. Sure, it’s a big business — some public personalities pull down six figures a year on Instagram ads alone. (Others are said to pull down six figures per post … mostly just Kylie Jenner) But … are there similar rules in place for product placement on television shows and in films? When someone on television drinks a specific name-brand soda or even walks in front of a sign for a fast food place, that’s not a coincidence. Usually, the company paid for that to happen. “Ad” doesn’t show up anywhere on the screen. Some might argue that featuring something in your social media posts is akin to a film’s product placement rather than being more like a commercial. Technology changes all of the time. Sometimes it takes the law a while to catch up.

Chelsea Houska: Here’s How I’m Failing as a Parent!

There are some Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 stars who can’t help but rub you the wrong way. But you know what? Chelsea Houska can be kind of charming. Even when she’s talking about her screw-ups as a parent. You can blog basically any part of your life. A lot of people liveblog political events, TV shows, or conversations they overhear in restaurants. A lot of parents blog about being parents, though some, like that  Daddy Blogger who leashes his daughter , probably shouldn’t. But we don’t mind it so much when their “parenting fails” are more run-of-the-mill, you know? Reality personality and noted baby fever experiencer Chelsea Houska  has been taking to Twitter to share some of her mistakes. Her most recent “parenting fail” that she’s shared on Twitter is mostly just about a … let’s call it a “chemical interaction.” No, not the dangerous kind. Just messy . “Fresh spray tan + drooling baby = disaster” Babies are so adorable, but they sure do produce a lot of what we’ll tastefully refer to as “substances.” Honestly, drool is the least offensive of those. Honestly, that’s a tip to young moms. You might know to not go out in the rain with fresh spray tan, but you might not think fo the effect that your baby could have. Just a few weeks earlier, she’d shared another of her “parenting fails,” though this time she wasn’t the one most impacted. “Starting this morning off with a mom fail. Totally slept through my alarm and Aubree is late for school. Is it summer vacation yet?!” First of all, sleeping through your alarm is the most normal thing in the world. It sucks when you’re a student, it’s worse when it makes you late for work, but it’s extra bad when you’re a parent letting down your kid. Anybody can sleep through an alarm, and if it’s the parent’s fault that the kid’s late, your kid really doesn’t have anything to worry about unless it’s happening all of the time. It’s worth noting that they make all sorts of creative alarms now that make oversleeping next to impossible. Like, mats that let out wailing noises until you stand on them with both feet. It’s a little extra , as the youths say, but it could be worth it if it’s a recurring problem. There’s a popular Tumblr post in which the blogger muses about why there’s no show call “Teen Dad” or “16 & Got A Girl Pregnant.” The blogger then concludes that a show about a teenage boy sitting around playing video games and hanging out with his friends wouldn’t really hook viewers. It’s the sad reality that childcare is too often left to women, even when they themselves aren’t yet adults. It’s even sadder when you realize that so many teenage mothers are impregnated by  not-so-teen  fathers. Gross. So it’s probably nice for pregnant teens to see that someone who was once in their situation is now leading a “normal” life. View Slideshow: Chelsea Houska: ALL The Adorable Photos of Her New Baby!

Chelsea Houska: Feuding With Adam Lind After Giving Birth?!

Earlier today, we reported that Chelsea Houska has welcomed her second child. Houska hinted at a unique name  throughout her pregnancy, and she certainly didn’t disappoint. Shortly after news of the birth went public, Chelsea posted the photo of her bundle of joy, and she didn’t keep fans in suspense about his quirky moniker: Yes, that’s little Watson Cole DeBoer. Cool name, and he was born into a cool family. Unfortunately, that cool family has douchey hanger-on who wants to ruin everything, like that gremlin on the wing of the plane in that Twilight Zone episode. If you watch Teen Mom 2 online , you know that gremlin is none other than Douchey McGoo himself, Adam Lind. Lind is the father of Houska’s first daughter, Aubree, who seems to be a pretty well-adjusted 7-year-old, despite having a father who broke out of a lab where the government was doing X-Men-like experiments with extreme douchiness. According to Radar Online, Chelsea and Adam are due to square off in court next month, at which time Lind will reportedly seek additional custodial rights. The court date was probably scheduled well before Chelsea gave birth but it still seems like kind of a dickish time to try and make changes to her relationship with her first kid. On the bright side, his request will almost certainly be denied by the court. Lind was been arrested for back child support last year, and he’s had countless brushes with the law.  If he thinks a judge will alter a previous custody agreement simply because Chelsea has another kid now, he’s likely to be sorely disappointed. Currently, Lind is eligible only for supervised visits with Aubree, and his behavior in recent seasons of TM2 is unlikely to endear him to the judge. Chelsea has stated in the past that she worries about Aubree being alone with Lind, but she’s foced herself to accept the present arrangement. “His visits are still supervised by his parents so that gives me peace of mind,” she recently told Radar online. “But it’s scary. I don’t know if he makes the best choices. It definitely is scary as a mom.” Chelsea and Adam’s court date is scheduled for February 28. Jeff Sessions Selected to Be U.S. Attorney General

It looks like Jeff Sessions will be our next U.S. Attorney General. The senator from Alabama has been nominated to this vital position by President-Elect Donald Trump, who has once again stirred up quite a bit of controversy before getting into the Oval Office. Sessions is a 69-year old staunch Conservative who often campaigned alongside Trump. He has been an outspoken supporter of the former Celebrity Apprentice star for months. But that is not the controversial part, unless you think scandal ought to follow around anyone who advocated Donald Trump for President. Sessions formerly worked as a prosecutor and was elected into the Senate in 1996. He currently serves on the Judiciary Committee and is best known for his strong opposition to immigration reform, along with his objection to bipartisan proposals to cut mandatory minimum prison sentences. He has supporter Trump’s proposal to build a wall along the Mexican border and he is all about deporting illegal aliens from America. According to The New York Times, Sessions was nominated in 1986 by the late president Ronald Reagan for a federal judgeship. However, this nomination was rejected due to a series of racially charged comments the politician had made in the past. At the time, Sessions’ nomination was only one of two to be rejected by the panel in almost five decades. What sort of divisive remarks has Sessions been accused of uttering? He had earlier branded civil rights organizations such as the NAACP and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference as “un-American” and “Communist-inspired.” He also once said that the Ku Klux Klan was fine by him, although he lost some respect for its members when he learned they smoked pot. (Sessions does not deny making this comment, but says it was made in jest.) Then there’s the case of Thomas H. Hughes. An African American prosecutor, he alleges that Sessions referred to him as “boy.” “Jeff has been a highly respected member of the U.S. Senate for 20 years,” Trump said in a statement. “He is a world-class legal mind and considered a truly great Attorney General and US Attorney in the state of Alabama. Jeff is greatly admired by legal scholars and virtually everyone who knows him.” Millions of people around the globe are growing more and more concerned by the kinds of people Trump is assigning to key White House positions. He previously announced that Steve Bannon would serve as a chief advisor and… well… you can learn more about Steve Bannon here: View Slideshow: Steve Bannon: Who is Trump’s White Nationalist Chief Advisor? Sessions was one of President Barack Obama’s loudest opponents, voting against his nominees to the Supreme Court from his post on the Judiciary Committee and opposing Obama’s other major domestic initiatives. He also seems to be in favor of Trump’s ban on Muslims. “He simply said, and the way I understand it is, that we should slow down. Let’s have a pause and begin to analyze where the threats are coming from,” Sessions told CNN in June, amidst questions about whether or not Trump’s position was shifting. “We have a toxic ideology, hopefully very small within Islam; certainly most people, most Muslims don’t agree with this violent, jihadist approach. “And we need to figure out a better way to identify that.” What do you think of Jeff Sessions as Attorney General? Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer Get Racy AF on Instagram!

Marriage has really changed Chelsea Houska. Or at least that’s what it seems like, anyway. For a while now, Chelsea has been a real class act, avoiding arrests and sex tapes and pointless nude photo shoots — something we can’t say for her fellow Teen Mom costars . But now, after one month of marriage (and at 27 weeks pregnant, no less), Chelsea’s ready to switch things up. Is that a photo of Chelsea’s new husband, Cole DeBoer, getting up close and personal with her breasts?! Yes, yes it is. And we are positively scandalized . Don’t worry though, because as unexpectedly racy as the photo may be — he’s got his lips puckered and he’s zeroing in on her boobs, y’all, that’s PG-13 as hell — we’ve got some sweet updates, too. One of them being a new photo of Chelsea’s baby bump! “27 weeks!” she captioned the photo, shared just a few days ago. “I cannot wait to meet this sweet little boy !” She also shared a photo of Cole when he was a kid alongside an ultrasound photo of their little bundle. “You guys,” she adorably explained, “I’ve totally become that crazy mom that is literally comparing ultrasound pictures with baby pictures of Cole.” “I can’t help it! I stare at these photos ALL the time, I’m so excited.” And nobody blames you, girl. You’re pretty much living the dream. Over on Twitter though, that’s where the true cuteness lies. Check out this painfully cute message Chelsea tweeted earlier this week: I just have to be sappy for a moment…. I truly feel like the luckiest woman in the world. I have such an incredible husband. I am seriously SO proud to call myself his wife and to have his children. I cannot wait to raise a son to be just like him. And Aubree to be just as sweet. My heart is so full. Aww, Chelsea, stop it. Really, please stop it. This is too precious, we’re too jealous, it’s too much. View Slideshow: Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer: 19 Times They Gave Us #RelationshipGoals
