Mohammed Elshamy/Anadolu Agency/Getty Images Spotify Is Stepping Back On Their Policy Toward “Hate Content” After it stopped promoting R. Kelly’s music as part of a controversial new artist conduct policy, Spotify is already reversing their recent steps. The streaming service is now said to be “moving away” from its “hate content” and “harmful conduct” policy, which was initially meant to provide guidelines for the company to remove an artist from its curated playlists and recommendation algorithms–if their behavior is deemed unacceptable. An announcement shared on Friday to the Spotify website reads: “Spotify recently shared a new policy around hate content and conduct. And while we believe our intentions were good, the language was too vague, we created confusion and concern, and didn’t spend enough time getting input from our own team and key partners before sharing new guidelines.” They continued on to say, “Across all genres, our role is not to regulate artists…Therefore, we are moving away from implementing a policy around artist conduct.” If you’ll recall, Spotify announced last month that it would not actively promote Kelly’s music after deeming he was in violation of the conduct policy due to his sexual misconduct allegations. They quickly took the same measures with XXXTentacion, who has faced a series of legal issues himself, including accusations of domestic violence. Though some people condoned the choice, Spotify’s move was condemned by reps for both artists, and it sparked a wider conversation about whether the policy could be considered censorship or not. She still doesn’t know WHY Jackie didn’t raise her (leaving her with her grandma until she was 9) or why there’s still so much denial on Jackie’s end about their checkered past. She credits her grandmother for picking up Jackie’s slack. She says she had a mother but it wasn’t the mother who birthed her. On Jackie Christie evicting her when her second son was just 2 months old: Ta’Kari: I was staying in a rental property of my mom’s for like, a year. And one day there’s a knock at the door and it’s all my aunts and their husbands. They have trash bags and they’re like “we’re here to help you…your mom said come help you pack, the bank is taking the house in the morning. My second son was two months old. Interviewer: You were being evicted by your mom and you didn’t know? Ta’Kari: Yes. They ended up sweeping our stuff into trash bags, throwing this in the back on this Uhaul. Ta’kari, who is is 70% deaf in one ear and 30% deaf in the other spoke accepting her speech impediment: It was hard. I’m just no comfortable speaking in the last year or so. It makes me feel very different, but that the same time, it’s ME. Ta’kari speaks about cutting herself and leaving a suicide note around 11-years-old: Around 11 or 12…it was bad. I didn’t want to wake up in the morning. I just didn’t wanna be seen. I don’t still have them (suicide letters), but I remember the first one I wrote: “My very last breath, I’m leaving it for my grandmother”. This is so sad!

Tami is getting married, but she’s awaiting the ring, which according to her, has to be right, and Tami still doesn’t like the fact that gen and Evelyn are friends again. You know, the usual. Cece links up with Evelyn and Jen to get down to the bottom of what they said about her giving out happy endings at her medical spa. If you recall, Kristen was the one who passed this message on to Cece, but Jen and Evelyn’s version is that what Kristen left out is that they were just joking. Riiiight, joking about someone performing happy endings at their business, which could hurt said person’s livelihood is soooo funny. via GIPHY Anyway, it wasn’t really clear that they were joking, but whatever. Jen and Evelyn surprisingly apologize, Cece is mature about it, accepts their apologies and plans to get to know them better. She even decides to have a party with the girls at her spa. Everyone except Tami shows up to the party and Jen and Evelyn are upset with Kristen for running back to Cece with their gossip. Jen, who has all of a sudden become pop off queen, initiates she and Evelyn’s gang up on Kristen, claiming she didn’t tell Cece the truth. Kristen expresses that she thinks this is dumb, which it is. Then we lose more brain cells as Jen shifts the convo toward her legal drama and how she’s going through a lot right now and doesn’t need this extra situation she brought on herself. via GIPHY Then Cece gets emotional and says that these rumors could mess with her livelihood. Obviously. She really just wants them to understand how this is hurtful. Evelyn jumps in and surprisingly says she respects her business and what she does and that it was always a joke and that she hopes to move forward. They all seem to manage to get through the rest of this party without incident but Cece is annoyed and wants a break from the group, already. Tami and Jackie met up with OG, a Lingerie Football League Player, and new entry to Basketball Wives . Basically, OG is being eased into the mix. She’s feisty and she’s “excited about meeting the group.” She just so happens to be planning a Nigerian-style backyard birthday party, but not before Jackie tells her about all the drama going down. Fast forward to OG’s party. Everyone shows up. Evelyn and Tami get a chance to chat. Basically, Tami seemed to believe that Evelyn was trying to make Jackie’s family look bad by donating to Jackie’s daughter’s GoFundMe that time and was adding fuel to Jackie’s beef. We all know that Tami and Jackie’s brand of crazy is similar. Anyway, Evelyn feels like Tami was fanning the flames with her input. Tami disagrees with Evelyn but calls Jackie into the conversation. Evelyn maintains that she donated because the pictures moved her, which is believable to most sane people. Plus, we all know that Jackie and that daughter do not have a good relationship. Then we move on to Tami demanding that Evelyn do her best Tami impression since she had jokes when Tami wasn’t around. Evelyn points out that she did have jokes just like Tami had jokes during her stand up routines and in her Bonnet Chronicles . Evelyn doesn’t do the impression but she definitely makes some shady remarks about Tami’s former appearance, before her Basketball Wives glow up. Tami is annoyed and says she’s not interested in going back and forth with Evelyn while going back and forth with Evelyn. Then Jackie gets involved in the conversation and they all start bickering again. All day, every day. This is what they do and that concludes another episode of the longest (and most inane) game of telephone ever. See you next week. In a recent interview on The Domenick Nati Show , the former Basketball Wives star said she and her baby sis are not in the best place. “ We really don’t have much of a sister relationship. But here’s how we work, we keep it really tight for our children…Our kids play together all the time. They love each other. I think we’ll keep it at that, for the meantime.” We’re not 100 percent sure what’s behind the fracture in their once close relationship , but as we previously reported , Laura revealed on an episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life that she believed her trifling ex-husband Gilbert Arenas once slept with Gloria . In addition to spilling the tea on her sister , the 37-year-old mother of four also shared with Nat her thoughts on Jackie Christie and Evelyn Lozada’s current feud about Jackie’s daughter Takari Lee . “I think [Jackie] said enough. Either fix it or move on, if you’re going to help your daughter, be in your daughter’s life then shouldn’t be out on social media.” Govan also ad mitted that she’s been approached about coming back to the VH1 hit show, but she’ll only consider it if the coin was “pretty.” That, and if they let her serve as a mentor to an up and coming cast member. “The talk is there but I don’t think so.
