Annette Bening Teams Up with Kristen Wiig for Imogene

Annette Bening will play Kristen Wiig’s mother in Imogene , the tale of “a moderately successful Gotham playwright (Wiig) who stages a fake suicide attempt to win back her ex-boyfriend, only to end up forced into the custody of her gambling-addict mother.” I hope this means the return of the shifty, savvy Bening we saw in The Grifters . I assume Kristen Wiig has a mean Anjelica Huston impersonation in her arsenal. In the meantime, Bening is working on He Loves Me with Paul Dano and Zoe Kazan. Oscar , please! [ Deadline ]

Katharine McPhee and David R. Ellis on How Shark Night is Like Arachnophobia and The Birds

In David R. Ellis’s Shark Night 3D , American Idol star-turned-actress Katharine McPhee plays Beth, a “tough chick party girl” who, with a group of fellow co-eds, heads to a summer beach house one weekend only to find the waters infested with hungry, deadly sharks. It’s scary stuff, she and Ellis, say, but don’t go in expecting the usual boobs ‘n’ blood exploitation-fest.

Tiger Woods: Creepin’ on Random Hoes!

They say a Tiger can’t change his stripes. Well, a year after Tiger Woods’ infamous Thanksgiving weekend car wreck, which revealed his affair with Rachel Uchitel and ignited a mammoth sex scandal, the golfer is up to his old tricks. No, not Joslyn James and Devon James. But similar tricks. “He’s seeing random girls, creeping around in a low-key way,” Us Weekly quotes an alleged Tiger insider as saying. “I don’t think you can call it ‘dating.'” PROWLIN’! Tiger is supposedly in the hunt (for tail) once again. So basically, dude’s on the prowl for cocktail waitresses all over Florida, but it’s hard to call it dating when you get kicked out of the house at 6:30 a.m. Oddly, this bogus report goes on to reveal Tiger’s actual plans for Thursday one paragraph later: “The kids and his mom will join him for Thanksgiving.” His ex-wife Elin Nordegren , meanwhile, is “not dating, but is in great spirits,” the source adds. Well, that’s good to hear … $110 million has to help.

More Washington Post Ethics Issues: Blogger’s Employment by White House Goes Unmentioned

You would think in the wake of the problems with   former Washington Post blogger Dave Weigel   in addition to   abandoned plans by the Post’s publisher Katharine Weymouth   to charge lobbyists and trade groups thousands of dollars for access “to top congressional and administration officials for $25,000 a plate” at a dinner party her home, the folks at the Post would be a little more careful with their ever-expanding empire of new media. But that’s not the case. According to   a July 2 article posted on RawStory.com by Ron Brynaer t, there is an undisclosed connection between the Obama White House and the Post. Brynaert notes   in the Post’s July 2 report from Ed O’Keefe , the whopping $38.7-million payroll of the Obama administration reveals there are three people that aren’t taking a salary, which O’Keefe fails to name. One of those is Patricia G. McGinnis, “Advisor to the Obama White House on leadership programs for Presidential Appointees.” But there is more to McGinnis, which Brynaert pointed out. ” McGinnis’ Georgetown biography notes   that she “is the former President and CEO of the Council for Excellence in Government, where she created and led a number of innovative programs to improve the performance of government, during her 14 year tenure” and also   ‘serves [as] a panelist and blogger for the Washington Post ‘On Leadership’ website.’ ” McGinnis was also listed as an unpaid adviser in 2009. Now this might have been nice to know because it violates the Post’s ethics policy, as Brynaert explained. “McGinnis was also listed as an unpaid adviser in the   White House payroll statistics released in 2009 ,” Brynaert wrote. “According to the Post’s   media ethics policy , ‘This newspaper is pledged to avoid conflict of interest or the appearance of conflict of interest, wherever and whenever possible. We have adopted stringent policies on these issues, conscious that they may be more restrictive than is customary in the world of private business.'” As for McGinnis’ content – there are indeed some glowing accounts of Obama,   which Brynaert has compiled , including one in January: “The first year of Obama’s presidency has produced an ambitious agenda for change, which congressional Republicans have resisted at every turn with chilling partisanship.”

Katharine McPhee Gets My Attention

I like Katharine McPhee , she’s hot and has a nice set of tits good voice, not to mention that she seems to know that if she wants to be sure to get my attention she should pose with a couple of hotties in bikinis carrying booze. This should be a lesson to other women out there. Actually, she looks pretty good on her own, she can dismiss the bimbos, but leave the booze… We can have our own little party. Call me. more pictures of Katharine McPhee here

More Washington Post Hijinks? Reporter Cancels Book Party Appearance Hosted by Democrat Operative

It’s probably safe to assume that a lot of reporters in the mainstream media lean to the left side of the ideological spectrum. And it was seen throughout the health care debate over the past year and a half – that somehow we need to raise the rhetoric beyond hyperbole like death panels, etc. One of those reporters was The Washington Post’s health care reporter Ceci Connolly, who last summer appeared on MSNBC and made such a plea . And since then, she made other gestures to show she was in line with the Obama administration on this issue. Well, lo and behold, according to a story by Jeremy Peters posted on the New York Times Media Decoder blog , Connolly canceled an appearance at a party for the book, “Landmark: The Inside Story of America’s New Health Care Law and What it Means for All of Us,” which according to her Web site Connolly is “one of the main authors of the first definitive book on the 2010 health care law.” “[T]he Post found itself in another potentially embarrassing and ethically compromised position on Wednesday after one of its most senior reporters abruptly canceled an appearance at her own book party, which was being sponsored by a public relations firm with strong ties to the Democratic Party,” Peters wrote. That communications firm was Blue Line Strategic Communications, a public relations firm run by Michael Meehan and David DiMartino. Peters reported Meehan, a Democratic communications strategist, has had some very close ties to several Democrat campaigns. “Mr. Meehan was most recently an adviser to Martha Coakley, the Massachusetts attorney general who lost to Senator Scott Brown, the insurgent Republican candidate who captured Edward M. Kennedy’s former seat,” Peters wrote. “He was also a senior staff member in the Senate for years, working for some of the most powerful members, including John Kerry, Tom Daschle and Barbara Boxer.” Connolly’s questionable association with Blue Line Strategic Communications comes on the heels of abandoned plans by the Post’s publisher Katharine Weymouth to charge lobbyists and trade groups thousands of dollars for access “to top congressional and administration officials for $25,000 a plate” at a dinner party at her home. According to Peters, the book party went on with Connolly. However it does further beg the question if the Post’s reporting throughout the ObamaCare debate was really “objective.”

Katharine McPhee’s Top Disappoints

As far as see through tops go, Katharine Mcphee’s isn’t exactly the most exciting, it’s right up there with the one I saw an old lady wearing on the bus the other day. Unfortunately, unlike the old lady Katharine decided to cover up the goods with some sort of strange mechanism that holds up her boobs. Whatever it is, I don’t like it one bit. She doesn’t get on the site very often and this garbage isn’t exactly helping her cause. Smarten up.
