Madonna Releases ‘Give Me,’ Unveils MDNA Track List

‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ ‘ debuts Friday (February 3) in multimedia event preceding Queen of Pop’s Super Bowl halftime performance. By John Mitchell Madonna Photo: Getty Images Madonna debuted her new single, “Give Me All Your Luvin’,” on Friday (February 3) as part of a massive multimedia push ahead of her halftime performance at Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis, Indiana, and has also revealed the track list for her much-anticipated 12th studio album, MDNA . The Queen of Pop’s single was rolled out across Clear Channel’s many platforms, a promotional push that the company estimates will reach 150 million people around the world. In addition to radio, the song hit online venues like iHeartRadio.com, Clear Channel’s customized online radio service, and 1,600 digital billboards in the United States, France, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Singapore, Belgium, Finland and the United Kingdom, according to NPR . “This first-of-its-kind multimedia premiere with Madonna demonstrates the unequalled scope and strength of the entire Clear Channel platform,” Clear Channel CEO Bob Pittman said in a statement. The full-length Megaforce-directed video for the track also hit the Web Friday and features Her Madgesty and collaborators Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. taking to the streets in cheerleader-chic attire. “Luvin’ ” is a bouncy dance-pop track reminiscent of Madonna’s Grammy-winning “Beautiful Stranger.” Driven by glittery synths, marching band drums and claps, the song features guest raps from Minaj and M.I.A. and a deep nostalgia streak. With its simple, impossibly catchy chorus and “dance our lives away” message, the song, which was written and produced by Madonna and dance music master Martin Solveig, feels like classic Madonna re-imagined by the production dynamic that brought her widespread acclaim beginning with her 1998 electro-dance album Ray of Light . On her official website , Madonna revealed the track titles that will be featured on the deluxe edition of her new album, MDNA, which hits stores March 26 and features production work from Solveig and Light producer William Orbit. The deluxe edition will include 15 songs:

Madonna Goes Old-School In ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ ‘ Video

Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. don cheerleader uniforms in clip, which revisits Madge’s classics like ‘Material Girl’ and ‘Like a Virgin.’ By Jocelyn Vena Madonna in her “Give Me All Your Luvin” music video Photo: Interscope “Fans can make you famous, a contract can make you rich, the press can make you a superstar, but only luv can make you a player.” And with that message, Madonna ‘s funky, fun and surreal (and almost cartoony) “Give Me All Your Luvin’ ” video kicks off. Full of appearances from Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., masked cheerleaders, beefy football players and old-school Madonna references a-plenty, the Megaforce-directed clip is fun and light-hearted, much like the bouncy pop anthem itself. The clip opens with Nicki and M.I.A. done up in cheerleader costumes chanting Madge’s name. It then cuts to Madonna, clad in a trench coat and sunglasses, kicking down the door of her suburban home, pushing along a baby stroller. From there, the video takes many unusual turns: football players tackling street signs, Madonna abandoning her baby carriage to hang out with her cheerleader crew, shots of her done up in black lingerie and a giant cross (the first of many looks that reference the many looks Madonna has worn over the years) dancing in front of a brick wall. Sparks falls from the sky as she runs around the streets near her house, her football players protecting her with some giant umbrellas — creating an eye-catching visual. As she makes her way through town (which does little to not look like a movie set), they continue to be by her side and the video begins to play tricks on the viewers’ eyes. They help her walk across a world turned sideways. It appears that they may have taken cues from her “Material Girl” video. Madonna looks like she’s having an incredibly fun time throughout the visual — smiling and shimmying her way through this fictional, hyper-fantasy world. Watching the clip, one may wonder what doesn’t happen in the video. Madonna gets shot at with old-school guns (perhaps an homage to her “Dick Tracy” days)! She climbs up a giant pile of football players! She plays with a baby doll! (Yes, that happens!) As the song approaches its breakdown, Madonna fans everywhere will certainly begin to stand out hard. Carried by her football players into a new setup (some kind of club-like setting), Madonna becomes the “Like a Virgin” version of herself. Dressed in white lace, a curly bob and lots of diamonds, she clearly is paying homage to that infamous era. Her two rapper pals are also dressed in similar looks as they spit their rhymes over the Martin Solveig-produced track. There’s also a few other Madonna refs in there: In addition to rolling around on her little stage (you know like she did at the VMAs back in 1984 , there’s also two girls kissing (she’s also done that at the VMAs) and a bunch of Smirnoff vodka bottles (she recently partnered up with the alcohol brand). From there, Madonna stage-dives into layers upon layers of football players’ hands and, at the end of it, gets caught by two of the players. The always-fierce Queen of Pop wraps up the video with a dance routine with all the characters along the way. When one of her masked cheerleader bats the head off one of her football players, she catches the helmet and proudly displays it, surrounded by sparklers. The video ends with Madonna tossing her baby doll to the side as one final message flashes across the screen: “Touchdown!” “Give Me” is the lead single off her March album release, MDNA . Jennifer Lopez Says Madonna ‘Would Be Awesome’ As ‘American Idol’ Mentor

Madge will preview ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ ‘ clip on Thursday’s ‘Idol.’ By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Jim Cantiello Jennifer Lopez Photo: MTV News On Thursday (February 2) night, Madonna will world-premiere a teaser for her highly anticipated new video on “American Idol.” The preview of “Give Me All Your Luvin’ ” comes in advance of the clip’s official Friday-morning debut. But if you think that the “Idol” judges are getting any special treatment and are seeing it first, think again. “I have not seen it yet,” Jennifer Lopez told MTV News earlier this week. “I’ll see it with all you guys on Thursday.” When asked whether she’d even heard any of the finished track, she further dished that she hasn’t heard a thing — and that includes a leaked version of the song that hit the Internet last fall. “I hate when the demos leak,” J. Lo added. “It’s so unfair.” Now that Madonna is in the “Idol” family, is there any chance she might come on the show to mentor the contestants before her album, MDNA, drops in March? “I don’t know. I mean, that would be awesome,” Lopez said. “And if it was me, she would be the one person I’d probably want to come and mentor me if I was a contestant on ‘Idol.’ ” With so much mystery surrounding the track and the video, which also feature Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., MTV News got some exclusive insight into the vibe of the clip from its directors, Megaforce . “We said, ‘Wow, it’s quite interesting that it’s a mix between these three artists.’ They are not a part of the same universe for us,” Raphael Rodriguez said of the Martin Solveig-produced track. “So it was interesting to hear this mix and different kind of music.” He later described the video as “about happiness and something really sunny.” Get your “Idol” fix on MTV News’ “American Idol” page , where you’ll find all the latest news, interviews and opinions. Madonna To Debut ‘Luvin’ Teaser On ‘American Idol’

Full-length video for Madge’s new tune will premiere day after Thursday’s ‘AI’ episode. By Jocelyn Vena Madonna Photo: Getty Images Madonna is truly an “American Idol,” so it’s probably fitting that the Queen of Pop has chosen the Fox reality show to debut a tease of the highly anticipated video for her upcoming single “Give Me All Your Luvin’. ” “AI” will premiere a preview of the video during Thursday’s episode, a day before its proper debut on Friday, which also happens to be the day the single hits iTunes (a version was leaked late last year). Fans will finally get to hear Madge, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. in all their sassiness. (Oh, yeah, Madonna’s film “W.E.” hits theaters that day too!) Along with producer Martin Solveig, Madge, Nicki and M.I.A all co-wrote “Give Me All Your Luvin’, ” while the “W.E.” director was also onboard to co-produce the track. “Luvin” is the lead single off her upcoming album, M.D.N.A., which is now set to drop on March 26, according to Idolator . Fans are just getting a glimpse of new artwork for the single, which features Madge sporting only a sweater in a trio of shots. On each sweater, there’s a star and a portion of the song’s title. In one shot, Madge has her eyes closed with her lips pursed together. In another, she’s shouting; and in the third image, she has her hands in her hair, eyes closed and a smile on her face. Other production credits for the album include William Orbit, the Demolition Crew, Marco “Benny” Benassi and Alessandro “Alle” Benassi, Hardy “Indiigo” Muanza and Michael Malih. Madonna recently spoke to MTV News about working with Orbit. “With William, I didn’t really have a discussion,” she said. “We’ve worked on stuff for so many years that we kind of finish each other’s sentences. He knows my taste and what I like. Magic happens when we get into a recording studio together.” Not enough Madonna for you? Well, she’ll hit the stage for the Super Bowl halftime show next Sunday, February 5, where, rumor has it, M.I.A., Nicki Minaj, Cee Lo Green and LMFAO will join her. While we don’t know much about her performance, the pop superstar teased that it would include a lot of pom poms. Are you excited to hear the official version of “Give Me All Your Luvin’ “? Madonna Previews “Gimme All Your Luvin” With M.I.A. In The Studio: Watch

Madonna Teases ‘Pom Poms’ For Super Bowl, New Video

‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ collaborators Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. might join halftime show, Queen of Pop tells MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena Madonna Photo: MTV News Madonna is nearing both the release of her “Give Me All Your Luvin” music video, as well as her highly anticipated Super Bowl halftime performance. And it seems that these two milestones will have a few things in common. First off, there’s a good chance Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. will not only play parts in the video for the first single off Madge’s M.D.N.A. release, dropping later this year, but as heavily speculated, they might take the stage with the Queen of Pop during the February 5 halftime show. In true Madonna fashion, when MTV News caught up with her at the New York premiere of her film, “W.E.,” she played it cool regarding rumors about the performance. Asked whether the ladies will join her at the Super Bowl, she coyly responded, “I am not saying ‘Yes,’ and I am not saying ‘No.’ ” The only tease she wanted to give was, “Pom poms. That’s all I can tell you.” When Madonna takes the halftime stage next month, her performance will be “imagined” by Cirque du Soleil and Madonna’s longtime choreographer and creative director Jamie King. According to reports, the set list for the show will include “Luvin” as well as the Madonna classics “Ray of Light,” Vogue” and “Music.” Of course, fans won’t find the theme a far stretch for the Michigan native, who was a cheerleader back in her high school days. “I have eight minutes to set up my stage, 12 minutes to put on the greatest show on earth, and I have seven minutes to take it down so that football field is clean for the second half of the game,” she told ABC News about the performance. “That’s the challenge. How do you do that? I actually wanted to have 100 drummers come from the ceiling, a drumline from the ceiling.” So, what else will the Super Bowl show and her Megaforce-directed clip have in common? Madge simply told us, laughing, “Pom poms.” The video was shot in December with both Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. on set. The already buzzed-about shoot made headlines after Minaj tweeted that the icon had kissed her.
