Is it hot in here? Or it the new trailer just released by The CW in anticipation of the final few episodes of Arrow Season 3 ? Arrow Season 3 Sneak Preview Fresh off Arrow Season 3 Episode 18 – which initially revealed Oliver’s superhero identity to Captain Lance… only for Roy to then pretend he is the Arrow – the pulsating drama will take a mini hiatus and return on April 15. Upon its return, the show will be full speed ahead until the May 13 finale. Based on the above footage, we know Oliver will be teaming up with the Atom and that a plan will be enacted to break Roy out of prison. There will also be some eyeglasses getting removed eyeglasses… some undergarments being unhooked … and a scarred chest being caressed. And, wait. WHAT?!? Will it really be happening? Will Oliver and Felicity finally be giving in to their feelings, in a physical manner of speaking? Actor Isaiah Washington appeared on CNN last night and raised eyebrows with comments about Chris Rock, racial profiling and being at “war” with police. Isaiah Washington on Racial Profiling, Chris Rock After Rock posted selfies of himself getting pulled over by police three separate times in the last seven weeks, the former Grey’s Anatomy star weighed in. Washington Tweeted, “I sold my $90,000.00 Mercedes G500 and bought 3 Prius’s, because I got tired of being pulled over by Police. #Adapt @chrisrock” #Adapt to what, exactly? The Internet quickly had a field day with questions, criticisms and retorts, making Washington an even bigger story than Rock. Isaiah wrote later, “Anyway, you millennials critique and misconstrue my message to @chrisrock I’m getting back to my work to help free all y’all. #Truthdom” The 51-year-old, who was famously fired for making homophobic slurs about (and inadvertently outing) co-star T.R. Knight, took to CNN in response. Washington told host Don Lemon: “I know a lot of people took issue to that hashtag #Adapt, thinking I was implying racial profiling and white supremacy would stop if he were in a different car.” “I will say this,” Washington added. “Since I got out of my G500 and been driving a Prius for the last four years … I have not been pulled over one time.” Lemon asked him to explain what he was saying Rock should #Adapt to, at which point he criticized the term “driving while black” and spoke of an unspecified “war.” “There’s something happening in his community or wherever he is on that road or coming in and out of whatever that terrain, they’re looking for something,” he said. “They’re policing something. And the timing, either good or bad, I think the timing for us to have this conversation it’s a good timing and bad timing for all of us.” “Because they’re looking for something. Obviously, they’re not looking for Chris Rock. Obviously he hasn’t broken any laws. And what you drive shouldn’t matter.” “But if you are at war, which we all know that we are, there is a sentiment in the air that is highly toxic, highly negative,” Isaiah continued. “And what I was doing by that tweet,” he went on, in a roundabout way, “was doing exactly what I wanted it to do, is excite a conversation .” “If we’re looking at this term ‘black’ and looking at this term ‘driving while black’ maybe we really need to look at the term ‘black’ itself and start having a different kind of holistic conversation.” The actor went on to suggest that going forward, Rock should meet with local police officials to take a stand against his recent run-ins with authorities. Woman Faces Manslaughter Charges After Giving Illegal Penis Injections We’re heard of women and transexuals turning to these extreme, unsafe measures to get the big booty of their dreams, but now it looks like men are getting in on back alley enhancements as well — and facing the consequences . A back alley plastic surgeon , is facing new charges after allegedly killing a man via silicone injections to the penis back in 2011. Despite the fact that she was already due in court on manslaughter charges due to the incident, 37-year-old Kasia Rivera faced new charges of illegally injecting a woman’s breasts and buttocks with silicone as well. According to MailOnline , the back alley surgeon was first arrested in December 2011 after one of her clients, who attended a “pumping party” at her East Orange, NJ home, passed away. Rivera allegedly injected silicone into 22-year-old Justin Street’s penis. Later that day, Street suffered a clot to the lungs as a result of a silicone embolism and eventually died the day after he received the injection. His death was ruled a homicide once the cause of death was discovered. Police believe Rivera administered a similar shot procedure to several other partygoers at her home that day. It’s a shame that people are willing to gamble with death just to fit into some box of what they think their body parts should look like.
Bob Simon Dies In Tragic Car Crash So Sad. Via NYPost : Veteran “60 Minutes” correspondent Bob Simon was killed when his livery cab crashed on the West Side Highway in Manhattan Wednesday night, sources said. The CBS reporter died when the Lincoln Town Car he was riding in crashed with a Mercedes and then lost control and plowed into a pedestrian expansion near 30th Street at about 7 p.m., according to sources. Cops had to cut off the top of the Lincoln to free Simon and the driver, who, according to a law enforcement sources, was treated for a possible heart attack by EMTs. The driver of the Mercedes said the livery driver was driving erratically. “He swerved into me,” the driver said. “He hit me and he looked like he lost control of the car.” Simon was taken to St.Luke’s where he died. The former war correspondent joined 60 Minutes in 1996. Wow, what a tragic end to his life. Our thoughts are with his family. Michael Sofronski

Ready for one last hurrah, Gleeks across the land? FOX finally kicked off the final season, airing Glee Season 6 Episode 1 and Glee Season 6 Episode 2 back to back in a two-hour, Friday night premiere. As fans get ready to say goodbye to the one-time ratings juggernaut, for our beloved McKinley High alumni, the premiere marked a reunion of sorts. Rachel returned to the school on Glee Season 6 Episode 1 , her dream job now but a distant memory, and her new project to fix up the school’s choir. In the second hour, Glee Season 6 Episode 2 found Puck, Quinn, Santana, Mercedes, Brittany, Artie and Tina all heading back to Ohio for Homecoming. What transpired throughout the two-hour premiere? Poor Rachel only got through one episode of “That’s So Rachel” – the most offensive, least funny television show ever to appear on the small screen – before her fantasy of making a living via acting/singing came to an end. So, what’s a girl to do when Hollywood is no longer calling? Head back to Lima, Ohio, of course! But Rachel returned to a very different William McKinley High School, as Sue Sylvester successfully ended the arts program there, prompting Will to turn to the dark side. Yup, he’s now the coach of Vocal Adrenaline. In response to this shocking turn of events, Rachel pledged all of her money to starting a new glee club at McKinley, garnering all of Sue’s wrath in the process. Fortunately, Rachel won’t be embarking on this mission alone: Having broke up (again), Kurt and Blaine have also made their way back to Ohio. On the second episode, meanwhile, fans were greeted by even more returning faces, as Artie, Brittany and company attended Homecoming festivites at their old school. As for the new faces? Jane is Dalton’s first-ever female student. Mason and Madison are twins who are also Cheerios. Spencer is a post-modern gay teen,” a football player who no one dares to mock for his sexuality. Roderick is quiet and soulful and her a GREAT voice. Glee Season 6 Episode 1 Recap: Let the Swan Song Begin
Corey Sligh is lucky to be alive. The model and part-time Young and the Restless star is recovering at home from injuries he sustained during a brutal beating last Thursday night. According to Sligh, per an interview with The Wrap, he and his girlfriend were delivering warm meals on Thanksgiving evening to friends who could not get off work when the incident occurred. They pulled up to a Rite Aid at the corner of Fairfax and Sunset in West Hollywood and spotted a young man flying around the parking lot in a Mercedes while his friend filmed the dangerous driving with a camera. “He wasn’t just doing donuts,” Sligh says . “He was flying through the parking lot, going like 40. The car was inches from hitting cars, curbs, and buildings and they were both just laughing.” After delivering his plate of food to his friend, Sligh says he told the guys to go elsewhere because they were scaring girls in the vicinity. He then started to walk away and… “I turned around and the car was three feet away and coming at full speed. The next thing I know I’m up on the hood of the car, flipping off of the side. I thought it was over.” The actor’s girlfriend helped him up get up while witnesses called the police, but the assailants returned. “They both attacked me. One guy hit me repeatedly in the face. I looked up and saw the other guy shoving Alisa and [our female friend],” Sligh explains. “I tried going over there while the first guy was hitting me. I had to tackle one of the guys to get him off and that’s when my arm snapped.” The police eventually arrived and apprehended the men, as Sligh was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and kept there until early Sunday morning. Doctors had to put screws in Sligh’s arm and he’s confined to a wheelchair for awhile, but he’s somehow not bitter. “It was pretty scary [being] on the hood of that car, but I’m happy to still be able to move my neck,” he told The Wrap. “I’m happy to have the problem of relearning to walk instead of not being able to walk at all. I’m pretty blessed.”
