‘Person of Interest’ in Ronni Chasen Murder Shoots Himself

A bizarre update in the murder of veteran Hollywood publicist Ronni Chasen: A man believed to be connected to the murder pulled a handgun and shot himself as Beverly Hills investigators closed in to serve him with a search warrant. Sure, the trailers portray the Coen Brothers’ True Grit as a foreboding revenge piece “from the directors of No Country for Old Men ,” but the duo says that the PG-13 movie is actually modeled after Treasure Island and other adventure films they saw as kids.
