Megan Fox: has joined Instagram. And the gorgeous actress has instantly made an impression on the social media site. Fox, who will next be seen in a live-action version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, posted a no makeup selfie online yesterday, including with it a caption that reads: “First IG selfie. Early morning no makeup.” Back in January 2013, a week after joining, Fox quit Twitter . She wrote at the time that she hoped to turn into a “social media butterfly,” but then realizes she “still hates” it. So we’ll see how long the private actress lasts on Instagram. They say actions speak louder than words. So even though everything involved in the Solange-Jay Z elevator altercation from a few weeks ago released a joint statement on Friday that said they “love each other” and have put the incident behind them, the following photo may serve as even better proof that all is very much well between relatives. The image is of Beyonce and Solange in New Orleans and it was posted the the former’s Instagram page yesterday. A woman of few words, Beyonce simply wrote “New Orleans May17th 2014” as a caption to the shot of Solange with her arm placed around Beyonce’s neck. To wit, a set of stark “before” and “after” makeup photos posted on Reddit have brought the question up for debate: Is makeup a good or bad thing? Before and After Makeup Photos Redditor water_anus posted two side-by-side photos of a woman, seemingly heavily-done makeup and hair on the right and no styling at all on the left. The caption: “Make-up. That’s it.” This posting quickly went viral and has opened up debate amongst Reddit users and beyond on a number of levels. From criticisms of her unsmiling face to praise for the masterful makeup skills to discussion over the merits of wearing makeup in general, it’s got it all. One commenter wrote that this is proof to “not trust one’s looks,” but several others pointed out that most women wear makeup, just more subtly.
