I am surprised the internet hasn’t broken under the pressure that happened when all eyes were directed to V Magazine for this shoot they did with Katy Perry and Madonna…in the same fucking picture…because I guess they are doing an issue on the longevity of record label produced pop music garbage the uses two talentless twats with big enough tits as their figureheads…because ultimately, what really matters is just how much fucking money these girls make for everyone around these idiots, when it they could have used anyone they pulled out of a dumpster to play the same part… I don’t know if this is good or bad, a big deal or not, I figure that both these idiots are at a stage where they don’t fucking matter, but I felt that way all a long…probably because I am not a raging homo who buys into this bullshit…but I guess a lot of people are… I think it would have been better if this was a documentary of a death match…

Superman and General Zod unleash their best tough-guy stares on separate Man of Steel collector covers for the UK’s Empire magazine this week, and, I’m calling it, Zod wins. All that screen time playing hard-asses ( Premium Rush ) and nut jobs ( Revolutionary Road ) has molded Michael Shannon’s mug into an incredibly effective billboard for threat and danger. He looks pissed and lethal here, And that gives him the slight edge in this Kryptonian staring contest. I realize Superman is supposed to be — at least initially — a reluctant hero in Zack Snyder’s re-boot of the DC Comics franchise, but perhaps Henry Cavill’s handlers should consult with a real-life Derek Zoolander about devising a fresh fierce look for any media opportunities that will ensue between now and the movie’s U.S. release on Jun 14.

Here’s a glimpse of Keanu Reeves’ directorial debut, and, is it me, or does Reeves look a little sweaty in the final shot? It’s just one of the off-putting moments in this Man of Tai Chi trailer . The bare bones of a plot are revealed via Reeves odd voiceover: to take a “pure-hearted, good natured man of Tai Chi and turn him into a killer,” he says, before adopting the cadence (but thankfully not those long-drawn-out ‘r’ sounds) of Ben Kingsley’s The Mandarin and concluding. “Let. The Games…Begin.” Dra. Ma. Tic! Meanwhile, the footage, which comes via Twitch , is almost entirely of martial-arts fighting — not surprising since Reeves told MTV that there are 18 fights in the movie totaling 40 minutes. He also said that he plays the , including a few scenes of Reeves, who has said he plays the movie’s villain, channeling Neo from The Matrix . Alas, the rest of the movie does not appear to aspire to that sci-fi classic’s standards. As for that sweaty look, maybe Reeves was feeling the pressure of directing his first picture. The Internet’s most favoritest, grumpiest cat turned 1 this week. As you can imagine, it sucked. This is Grumpy Cat after all. Despite achieving more in a year than most of us could dream about in a lifetime – fame, fortune, meeting Ian Somerhalder at SXSW – Tardar Saurce remains incorrigible. One can sympathize here. Birthdays often fail to live up to expectations, even for eternal optimists. People make such a BFD about them, and for what?! Ooooh, you didn’t die in 12 whole months!? Whoop-dee-doo. Anyway, hopefully year two will eat it slightly less maybe? Happy birthday, Grumps.

Kwame Harris , a former offensive lineman for the 49ers, confirmed last week that he is gay. But Brendon Ayanbadejo – a special teams standout released this month by the Baltimore Ravens – says we should expect a lot more movement on this front in the near future. “We’re in talks with a handful of players who are considering [coming out],” Ayanbadejo tells The Baltimore Sun . “There are up to four players being talked to right now and they’re trying to be organized so they can come out on the same day together. It would make a major splash and take the pressure off one guy. It would be a monumental day if a handful or a few guys come out.” Just a few days ago, a CBS Sports report also claimed an active player would reveal himself as a homosexual, something that is yet to happen in any American professional sport. All of this speculation comes as the gay marriage debate heats up amidst the California Supreme Court weighing the legality of Proposition 8.

Justin Bieber finds herself in the middle of a heated debate, and not over whether or her son ought to reconcile with Selena Gomez . Yes, Pattie Mallette is promoting the film Crescendo because she hopes it will raise money for centers that assist pregnant women – but, no, she is not taking any kind of pro-choice stance. “The press has been saying that I’m producing an anti-abortion film and taking this big stance,” Mallette told The AP. “You know, I haven’t shared my stance with anyone and I’m not here to make a political statement, so there’s been a lot of assumptions made.” Mallette gave birth to Bieber at 18 and has been open about the pressure on her to terminate the pregnancy at the time. She also attempted suicide many years ago and dabbled in drugs and alcohol. But the promotion of this movie, Mallette says, is to support programs such as the one that essentially saved her life after she was kicked out of her parents’ home. “The pregnancy center that I lived in is now closed because of lack of funds, so I thought it was a really important thing that [producers are] doing to raise money.” On a lighter side, Mallette was also asked about Justin’s butt crack , which he shared last month with Instagram followers. “I don’t want to see him doing that kind of stuff,” she said. “But, you know, he’s 18. He’s making some of his own decisions and he’s going to make some mistakes and he’s going to make some good choices, too.”
