Danielle Sellers And Sabine Jemeljanova’s Naughty Xmas

We’re only a couple days away from Christmas, and in case you still need a little help getting into the spirit of things, let’s celebrate with one of my favorite annual traditions: two busty hot nobodies doing a sexy Christmas-themed lingerie shoot. This year, it’s  Danielle Sellers and Sabine Jemeljanova ‘s turn. And it’s making me think maybe I should revise my wish list to include these two. What? It could happen. I’ve been a good blogger this year. I haven’t called anyone chunky or ugly in weeks.

LeRoy Neiman Dies at 91

LeRoy Neiman, a prolific artist whose dynamically colored paintings and sketches honored heroic figures of sports and entertainment, died Wednesday. He was 91. His New York-based publicist confirmed Neiman’s death. Throughout his life, Neiman was a larger-than-life yet approachable figure who came to epitomize the magazine with which he had a long association, Playboy . After studying and then teaching at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Neiman’s distinctive style originated by using quick brush strokes with the enamel paint that was being tossed out by a building janitor. The Playboy association that became synonymous with his personal style and that of his art, began in the mid-’50s, when Hugh Hefner’s magazine was new. Once the publisher saw LeRoy Neiman’s canvases with their energetic depictions of boxers and nightlife denizens, a professional marriage was born. “I’ve had a lucky life,” Neiman said in 2008. “I zeroed in on what you would call action and excellence. … Everybody who does anything to try to succeed has to give the best of themselves, and art has made me pull the best out of myself.”

Larry Ellison, Oracle CEO, Buys Lanai Island in Hawaii

Oracle co-founder CEO Larry Ellison will soon be the proud owner of Lanai, Hawaii’s sixth-largest island. Seriously, he bought 98 percent of the thing. The price? A relatively modest $500-600 million, according to reports. Ellison hasn’t said what he plans to do with the vast majority of the island’s 141 square miles, but the sellers said he plans substantial investments. Reports say he plans to create jobs and stimulate tourism to the “Pineapple Island” once owned in the 1920s by the founder of Dole Foods Co. Ellison’s purchase was publicly announced by Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie. Landowner Castle & Cooke, who owned the property Ellison bought, has filed a transfer application with the Public Utilities Commission, he says. With nearly 50 miles of coastline, just two resorts and zero traffic lights, Lanai boasts little conventional development but plenty of unspoiled charm. To put it in perspective, an unnamed source equated Ellison’s purchase of Lanai as the continental U.S. equivalent of buying Montana.

American Idol in New Orleans: Sarah Sellers, Jacee Badeaux Impress

After getting off to a strong start in New Jersey, the new American Idol panel hit the Big Easy last night. As Steven Tyler continued to share random thoughts and jokes (our favorite: seeing a husky Randy Jackson in a photo from a high school sporting event and asking, “Which is the shot put?”), two contestants stood out. We’ve posted their audition videos below. Sarah Sellers : Large-lipped 28-year-old describes herself as a “marketing analyst by day, an aspiring singer and a food and music blogger.” Tyler adored her version of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love,” sang here: Sarah Sellers Audition Jacee Badeaux : A 15-year old summed up by J. Lo as being “So sweet and SOOOO CUUUUUTE!” Close your eyes, listen to him sing an Otis Redding classic and ask yourself: Couldn’t this be Justin Bieber ? Jacee Badeaux Audition

Aaron Kelly and Michael Lynche Don’t Suck on American Idol

Due to a medical emergency involving Crystal Bowersox, the men were forced to switch nights with the ladies this week on American Idol . We guess we could chalk up the number of poor performances to this scheduling switch… if so many guys had not also been lackluster last Wednesday evening. While a handful of semifinalists stood out, we wouldn’t complain if any of the bottom half of contestants listed below got voted out. Here’s how we’d rank this week’s male contenders: Aaron Kelly : Granted, “My Girl” is a fun, easy song to sing for anyone with a good voice. But Aaron showed impressive range and confidence for a 16-year old. Michael Lynche : Might have to be known for more than his physique and personality know. Fantastic song choice with a James Brown classic. Casey James : The judges may say it’s a singing competition, but his electric guitar will help James go far. So will his looks. Lee DeWyze :We hate to agree with Kara, but it’s true: we could imagine Lee on the radio right this very instant. Andrew Garcia : That rendition of “Straight Up” is coming back to hurt him. No performance since has compared. Alex Lambert : We weren’t nearly as impressed as the judges. He may not have vomited before performing this week, but is that the standard we’re going by now? Todrick Hall : The best of the worst. We’ll give him points again for at least trying something different. John Park : Ellen said she likes his look. The guy wears a t-shirt and… is Asian? We’re not sure what Ellen means. Jermaine Sellers : Says he’ll stick around because “I know God.” Loved Simon’s response: Then there’s no need for anyone to call in for you, right? Tim Urban : Seems like a very nice guy. But simply isn’t a very good singer. Take your pick, vote our any of the final four and we’ll be happy. But we’d send Sellers and Urban packing. How about you? Below, we’ve posted performance photos of all 10 semifinalists. Click on each to enlarge and choose your favorite…
