Teen Mom 2 may not be airing new episodes at the moment, but Briana DeJesus is making sure there's plenty of drama in her life for the show's next season. As you may have heard, Briana has a new boyfriend . Very little is known about the guy. In fact, no one is even sure of his name. We do know, however, that the relationship is going strong, and it appears to be getting serious. In fact, Briana and her mystery man might be preparing to take a very big step together. Earlier this year, we reported that Thomas Ravenel was accused of sexually assaulting his children’s nanny and then firing her. That harrowing account was the second accusation of rape to come out against him. Now, Nanny Dawn is suing Thomas over the assault — and the lawsuit also includes Bravo and NBC. Here’s why: RadarOnline reports that Ravenel’s children’s former nanny, Dawn Ledwell, is suing the disgraced former reality star for “assault, slander, and libel.” In court documents, Thomas is accused of having “violently and aggressively” ripped off her clothes in the January 2015 incident. He then allegedly forced his hand between her legs to assault her genitals, “causing severe and significant injuries.” Per the documents, Thomas then attempted “to engage in sexual intercourse” against her will. Ledwell’s team says that hs “conduct was so extreme and outrageous as to exceed all bounds of decency.” “And,” documents read, his behavior “must be regarded as atrocious and utterly intolerable in a civilized community.” That’s all heinous, and we already know that Thomas Ravenel will go to trial over the alleged assault. But why are Bravo and NBC included in all of this? Court papers claim that the production company and network “created, permitted and encouraged Southern Charm plot lines.” These were plotlines, they say, “that focus on alcohol, sexual encounters.” “And,” documents accuse. “The concept that male cast members, including Defendant Ravenel, suffer from ‘Peter Pan Syndrome.'” The papers continue: “and they are the ‘Lost Boys’ and Charleston is their ‘Neverland.'” In the court documents, Ledwell says that, December of 2015, she informed an employee of “Corporate Defendants” about the allegations. The corporate defendants would be Bravo, NBCUniversal and Comcast. We have no idea what sort of employee her team means. However, the documents accuse that the companies “failed to investigate.” It may be difficult to prove that this matter was passed up the ladder to the appropriate individuals. But it sounds like the accusation is that executives didn’t want to stir the pot with a scandal and cared more about ratings than justice. Ledwell’s team believes that Thomas Ravenel knowingly benefitted from corporate greed. “Corporate Defendants and Ravenel have conspired with one another to deter the investigations of assaults committed by Defendant Ravenel,” documents read. Ledwell reports that she has not been contacted “since the public disclosure of the allegations of assault in or around May 4, 2018.” While Bravo did make it clear in 2018 that Thomas would never return to Southern Charm , this was only after the scandal came to light. Did execs feel that public pressure and #MeToo forced their hand, or was this just the first that the right people had learned of the allegations? A statement was released at the time of the allegations against Thomas Ravenel. “Haymaker, the production company for Southern Charm, and Bravo take allegations like these very seriously,” the statement read. It continued: “Haymaker is conducting an investigation, and once all the information is gathered and carefully reviewed, appropriate action will be taken.” Since then, of course, Thomas has not appeared on Southern Charm . Dawn Ledwell has requested a jury trial for the lawsuit. Proving sexual assault is extremely difficult in our legal system. Ledwell is already in the minority, in that her allegations led to an arrest. (The vast majority of sexual assaults are not even reported to police, and even fewer lead to arrests and trials) Proving this conspiracy to cover things up seems like a longshot, even if it is true. Unless there is an employee willing to blab or a particularly damning corporate email, it sounds very tricky. As always, we hope to see justice done. Sheeran’s home is worth $110 million and is located in the village of Dennington. He shares the home with his fiance, Cherry Seaborn. According to the story the swingers on web forums brag about doing it on Sheeran’s lawn and talk about why they want to do it as well as the thrill of it. In the years since she retired from the world of adult film, life hasn’t always been kind to Jenna Jameson. Jameson has struggled with addiction, endured brushes with the law, and battles with depression and anxiety, all before an audience of millions of social media followers. Thankfully, the mother of three has managed to turn things around as of late. In April of 2017, Jameson welcomed her third child , a girl named Batel Lu. In the months since giving birth, Jenna has devoted herself to living a healthier lifestyle and Just last month Jameson showed off an astonishing 57-pound weight loss on Instagram, and it seems she’s continued making progress since then: The 44-year-old posted the above photo earlier this week along with a lengthy caption in which she discusses the lessons that she’s learned over the course of her weight loss journey. “One aspect of fear that we all trip over is fear of failure,” Jameson wrote. “This was the major component in my procrastination on getting healthy after having Batel. I kept trying to convince myself I was ok with my “new” size. I wasn’t,” she continued. “It really was fear of failing. I was so afraid I couldn’t reach my goals like I was so accustomed to, I just told myself ‘why bother?’ I conquered sobriety, but that came with a whole set of new issues… actually FEELING my feelings. Raw, painful feelings.” Jameson went on to reveal that she’s now lost 63 pounds in a matter of months. She says she’s officially reached her ideal weight of 123 pounds. “Batelli is 17 months and I’m 123. I did it,” she said. “So to finish up this long a— post, just know it’s normal to fear failing at losing your weight… but if you don’t try, you’ll never know the utter triumph when you do achieve your goals.” But despite shedding an astonishing number of pounds in a very short period of time, Jameson says she has no intention of slowing down: “When I do make these before and after pictures it motivates me to continue!” she recently wrote on Instagram. Jenna deserves to be commended for her weight loss thus far, and it looks as though she achieved the awesome feat through commitment, exercise, and devotion to the ultra-low-carb keto diet. But at 5’7”, 123 pounds makes for a mighty thin frame, and fans have begun imploring Jameson to slow down in her fitness routine. As far as we can tell, there’s no cause for concern just yet, but here’s hoping Jenna continues to prioritize being healthy over being thin.
Piers Morgan can be such a mixed bag. It’s nice ot see him berate that vulture Samantha Grant . It’s gross to see him ask Caitlin Jenner creepy questions about her body . This time, he’s making gross comments about another woman’s body — plus size model and trailblazer Tess Holliday. Tess graced the cover of Cosmopolitan , and Piers was apparently unable to resist commenting on her body and accusing her of being some sort of public health hazard. Before Piers decided to insert his opinion into the narrative, Tess was delighted with her cover. “Phew,” Tess writes on Instagram. “I’m literally a COSMO GIRL!!” “Can’t believe I’m saying that!” she continues. “Thank you @CosmopolitanUK for this incredible opportunity ” Tess discusses the impact that body positivity can have, writing: “If I saw a body like mine on this magazine when I was a young girl, it would have changed my life ” Tess advises her fans: “Issue hits stands 8/31!” Unfortunately, Piers Morgan is one of those dudes who worries about other people loving themselves on their terms instead of on his. “As Britain battles an ever-worsening obesity crisis,” Piers laments. “This is the new cover of Cosmo.” “Apparently,” Piers continues. “We’re supposed to view it as a ‘huge step forward for body positivity.’” “What a load of old baloney,” Piers declares. ” This cover,” Piers continues. “Is just as dangerous & misguided as celebrating size zero models.” Tess took to Twitter and hit back. “To everyone saying I’m a burden to the British health care system,” Tess begins. “I’m american,” Texx explains. “So you don’t have to worry about my fat ass.” She is such a delight and doesn’t hesitate to use humor when speaking truth to power. Good for her. (Naturally, we shouldn’t conflate body size with health, and no one should be seen as a “burden” because of their health) Tess says that the people who are uncomfortable with the size of her body, which literally does not impact them at all, should have more important things on their minds. “Worry about what horrible people you are,” Tess suggests to her detractors. That’s harsh — but considering that Piers just accused her of being the next Typhoid Mary and he was far from the worst person to comment, it’s fair. She says that they have demonstrated that they’re horrible “by whining about how me being on the cover of a glossy magazine impacts your small minded life.” It’s difficult to understand why so many people feel like they have the right to tell other people what to do with their own bodies. Tess’ body does not impact the rest of us. It just doesn’t. But a photo of her on the cover of a magazine could have a very real and powerful effect on little girls (or others, but girls especially) who are struggling to love themselves. When people like Piers say that body positive images of Tess and women like her will somehow make the “obesity epidemic” worse, it is clear what they really mean. They mean that people who have learned to love themselves won’t go on dangerous starvation diets that ultimately don’t work in a desperate attempt to get their bodies looking how Piers wants them to. If you think that one body type is more attractive than another, that’s fine — we all have preferences. But women are allowed to just exist without you wanting to bang them.
J.D. Madison and Thomas Ravenel now have something in common. But it’s not friendship and it’s not a role on Bravo reality series Southern Charm. It’s the fact that each has been accused of sexual assault. We’ve documented in the past how Ravenel has been accused of raping both a nanny and a woman with whom he went on a date a couple years ago. The lead Southern Charm cast member has since announced that he will not be returning for Season 6. Now, People Magazine has confirmed that an incident report was filed in August 25 with the Mount Pleasant Police Department against South Carolina businessman Madison, who is pretty tight with Ravenel. He’s appeared multiple times on Southern Charm as a result. According to legal documents, allegations of rape, sexual assault and involuntary drugging have been leveled against Madison by a South Carolina female, whose name was redacted by authorities. The details are pretty disgusting. The alleged victim told police that the incident in question took place on August 21, 2017. She says that she was with Madison, his male friend and another female friend at her house for a drink prior to heading out to a local bar. While there, she alleges that Madison intentionally broke a glass – and, as she cleaned it up, Madison “slipped a drug” in her already-poured beverage on the counter. The victim says that, after finishing the drink, she fell in and out of consciousness. Later, in the early hours of August 22, the woman says she awoke in the guest bedroom of her home where Madison was “forcibly raping and sodomizing her.” The attack supposedly stopped after Madison received a phone call from his wife. Then there’s this addendum to the story: FITSNews has identified the male with Madison and the alleged victim that night as Jay Schwartz, a local chiropractor. He was arrested on drug charges this same evening. Mount Pleasant are reportedly investigating these charges, while Bravo is yet to issue a comment. The allegations against Madison come three months after allegations of sexual assault were brought against Ravenel by “Nanny Dawn,” who was featured Southern Charm caring for Ravenel’s two children with ex Kathryn Dennis. Another unnamed woman also brought a similar charge against the Wealthy Charleston resident. Ravenel is currently under investigation by South Carolina police. He dropped out of the show this month admist these scandals , defiant in his statement and adamant that only Bravo producers had done anything wrong. “I’m not doing the show anymore,” Ravenel Tweeted, adding: “In the contract they have the right to fictionalize your story. They took advantage of me. I decided I’ve got too much to lose and informed them I’m not coming back.” This guy sucks so much. And even if J.D. Madison never faces any charges for what he’s accused of above, we feel confident in saying he sucks a lot, too.
