Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Fans to Bravo: Fire Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp!

Lisa Vanderpump is no longer a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She left the franchise by choice, of course. Now, however, a number of Bravo viewers are now urging executives to make sure a pair of veteran reality stars follow Lisa out the door. These folks are just dying to say farewell to Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp. Not long after Vanderpump confirmed she was leaving the series because she was sick of all the fighting and negativity, a change.org petition has started to make the rounds. It currently has over 3,900 signatures on it and it lays out the argument for why Richards and Mellencamp deserve to get fired. The online document was launched at the end of July and surpassed its halfway goal for signatures by August 6, making it clear that this isn’t the work of a tiny minority. There’s at least some segment of the Real Housewives fandom that believes Kyle and Teddi crossed a line with the way they treated Vanderpump this past season. “Kyle has continuously slandered Lisa Vanderpump by accusing her of leaking stories…Kyle has persistently accused Lisa with no proof whatsoever,” the petition’s creator writes. As loyal viewers know, of course, this is a reference to the scandal that became known this spring as PuppyGate . It centered around the allegation that Vanderpump leaked a story about Dorit Kemsley’s rescue puppies (from Vanderpump Dogs) ending up at a shelter after Dorit chose to give them away. Lisa ended her friendship with Kyle after the latter doubted her innocence, which the restaurateur further tried to prove by passing two lie detector tests on air. The petition reads as follows: “Teddi Arroyave [Teddi’s married name] should be fired for the fact she helped propel the propaganda and then only owning up to it so she could spin the narrative to make herself look innocent… “Teddi would love nothing more than to sink LVP and Dorit.” Continues the petition: It is so blatantly clear to RHOBH fans that sabatoged Lisa Vanderpump that we are insisting that these two be fired… We are the fans and we are sick of this behavior. It may actually jeopardize the Beverly Hills franchise ratings. In the wake of the most recent season coming to an end, Vanderpump’s husband has also come out swinging against his wife’s former colleagues. “Their pettiness says everything. There are so many things WE could’ve said but haven’t,” Todd wrote of Lisa’s rivals , honing in  on Kyle specifically and adding: “So it’s not just Goodbye Kyle that I want to say…it’s goodbye to all of the vicious nastiness…there I feel much better now.” For the record, after part two of the annual reunion aired on July 23, Teddi Tweeted: “I know I wasn’t forthcoming about the exact details of doggygate. “I am not proud of my initial instinct to give a convenient — and not completely honest — account of events. “I didn’t live up to my own standards through my actions and that’s what’s most difficult of all. #RHOBH.” View Slideshow: 13 Shows That Need to End Right NOW

Shannon Beador: Totally Inseparable From Businessman Boyfriend!

Shannon Beador has  lost an astonishing amount of weight and is having more fun than ever before. Part of that fun is with her handsome businessman boyfriend . Things between the two of them are looking serious. So serious, in fact, that they traveled across the country so that he coudl be her date for the RHOC premiere. As you can imagine, Shannon Beador was excited about the Season 14 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County . She flew out to New York for the premiere — but she didn’t come alone. Her plus one was boyfriend John Janssen. The two snapped photos — one of which you can see above — from the premiere. It looks like things are getting really, truly serious. RadarOnline reports that Shannon simply “just can’t get enough” of her exciting new man. And that’s only part of why it’s no surprise that she brought him along to the premiere, even if it meant two cross-country flights. “Of course she wants to flaunt him as much as she can,” the insider says. It doesn’t sound like John has any real gripes about coming along for the premiere or the Watch What Happens Live taping, either. “He’s not complaining and neither is she!” the source characterizes. Eyewitnesses say that Shannon and John could barely keep their hands off of each other. “Shannon’s definitely in love — or lust — with him,” the insider gleefully reports. “And,” the source reveals. “The sex is just through the roof.” That’s not a huge surprise. Shannon’s new fitness habits were bound to dial up her sex drive. “Honestly,” the insider remarks. “She didn’t think that she would ever meet anyone that turns her on as much as John does again.” There’s more than just first-rate boning and good old-fashioned thirst keeping these two together, however. Historically, David Beador was the primary breadwinner of the family. But Shannon’s QVC business, “Real for Real Cuisine,” has proven to be a multimillion dollar success. “John finds it fascinating that she is so successful,” the source shares. “And,” the insider adds. “It only makes him want her more.” If that makes it sound like John might be a gold digger or just some dude scamming Shannon for fame, don’t worry. “He doesn’t care about the fame,” the source assures. The insider adds that “He has his own money.” “And,” the source continues. “He just legit wants her.” After all of the horrible things that David said to her after her moderate weight gain a few years ago, it must be a relief for Shannon to feel desired again. In general, it sounds like John is as fascinated as anyone would be by Shannon’s dramatic life. “Shannon’s life is super interesting to anyone,” the insider correctly remarks. So interesting that she’s paid a hefty six figures just to share a small portion of that life with the viewers at home. “She’s back to being the star that she is,” the source affirms. “And she’s ready to shine.” That’s fantastic! Shannon Beador: David Can’t Stop Me From Drinking Around Our Kids!!

Last week, David Beador accused Shannon of being a drunk who couldn’t take care of their three teenage daughters. He based his court filing on statements that she had made on the The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion special. Now, Shannon is firing back with a court filing of her own. She says that David is just bitter. In court documents obtained by Us Weekly , Shannon Beador is firing back at David’s claims that she’s too drunk to care for their teen daughters. “I am informed and believe — based on his communication with me (and sometimes his refusal to communicate),” Shannon begins. She continues: “that the Respondent is deeply angry with me.” That happens a lot in contentious divorces, and the Beador split is definitely that. (Remember when David had the water shut off at her house, where his own daughters live? Yeah) “And,” Shannon says, David “was looking to hurt and embarrass me.” “His Request for Order was apparently designed to attract media attention and assert control,” Shannon speculates. Celebrity divorces are tricky, not only because of the finances involved, but because filings are often made public. That can really change someone’s agenda if either party is feeling petty. “The term to which Respondent refers (and mischaracterizes), ‘self-medicate,’ was used during a frank conversation,” Shannon says. She was talking “about the breakdown of our marriage and the issues precipitating it.” Shannon then provides context: “The conversation was filmed for the television show of which I have been a cast member for five years.” “At no time did I use the term ‘self-medicating’ or say that I was abusing alcohol,” Shannon points out. She then points out that reality television is not a documentary or a confession. The filing says: “Respondent is basing his request on a moment of a TV show that has been edited for entertainment purposes.” A court could conceivably subpoena raw, unedited footage from a reality series. This would make sense, especially for a reality show about families, if the court suspects that cameras have evidence of wrongdoing. But what airs on Bravo is almost never going to meet courtroom standards for evidence. Shannon makes it clear that she is not claiming to be perfect. “In real life,” Shannon says. “I have admitted to making a handful of poor choices in the last year-and-a-half.” Real life should not be conflated with her show. “But I have taken responsibility for my mistakes,” she asserts. “And discussed them with our children, their therapist, and my therapist.” Shannon adds: “The same cannot be said about the Respondent’s accountability.” Ultimately, Shannon says that she does not consent to David’s demand that she abstain from any alcohol while her children are present. But Shannon suggests a parental order of her own. Her filing reads: “(a) neither parent shall engage in any behavior that is detrimental to the children,” It continues: “(b) each party shall supervise the children appropriately when they are in his/her care.” Finally: “And (c) each party shall co-parent cooperatively and communicate respectfully with the other at all time.” We suggest that she not hold her breath for David to agree to that. Shannon Beador Accused of Alcoholism, Endangering Her Children

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador continues feuding with fellow Housewives , but she’s also caught up in another fight. Her ex-husband, David, is accusing her of being an alcoholic. He has filed papers with the court to prevent her from drinking — at all — when she’s spending time with their teen daughters. Us Weekly confirms that David Beador filed papers with the court, hoping to forbid Shannon from drinking around their teenage daughters. “The mother has publicly stated on television within the last month, she ‘self-medicates’ with alcohol,” the documents accuse. Discussing your personal life is part of being a reality star, but your words can be thrown back in your face in court if you’re not careful. “That behavior is detrimental to the children,” David’s attorney claims. Their children are Sophie, who is 16, and twins Stella and Adeline, who are each 14. According to David’s team’s request, Shannon would be under very strict rules that go beyond avoiding having wine with dinner. The proposed court order would prevent Shannon from drinking at all while the girls are with her. That would include a ban on drinking eight hours before the girls come to stay with her. An order like this is usually made when someone has demonstrated that they have a drinking problem. That said, for those without a drinking problem, it’s usually easy enough — if socially inconvenient — to follow. Does Shannon have a drinking problem and, if so, is it actually negatively impactful to her girls in any way? Honestly, we don’t know. Either way, this sounds like a clear effort to use Shannon’s status as a reality star against her. Things had been going a little better with Shannon and David’s divorce, right up until the reunion special aired. Is this David’s attempt to exact revenge upon Shannon for disparaging him and his girlfriend on international television? Or was this born of genuine concern? This news comes on the heels of Shannon facing a real medical crisis. On Monday, December 17, Shannon revealed that she had gone to the emergency room. “At ER with horrible pain in my ribs,” Shannon shared with her fans and followers. “Getting tests.” “Everyone so nice but not a hospital fan…” she admitted. Mystery pains are never good, but when they’re in or around your chest, they can be downright scary. Fortunately, Shannon had more to tell her followers. “No blood clot,” she announced. “And all is good.” The human body is kind of a mess, so sometimes phantom pains defy explanation. In this case, if Shannon received a specific diagnosis, she did not see fit to share it with fans. “Heading home with an antibiotic,” Shannon revealed. “Thank you to so many of you for the well wishes.” Shannon told her fans: “It’s overwhelming and kind.” Maybe David has real concerns about Shannon’s drinking, or maybe this is just a game that he’s playing with their divorce. Maybe both. Some fans cannot help but be reminded of one of the elements in the dissolution of their marriage. David, as you may recall, did not respond well when Shannon’s stress eating caused her to gain weight. It reached a point where Shannon said David stopped loving her because she was fat . Does David, even now that he’s moved on with a younger lady love, feel a need to control what Shannon puts in her body? Or is this just fatherly concern for his teenage daughters, who may soon be exposed to alcohol at parties if they are not already? His motives remain shrouded. We’ll see what the court decides. Jim Bellino: Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge Set Out to RUIN My Business!

Jim Bellino’s intense lawsuit against Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge is still going strong. Newly revealed documents explain exactly how he believes they robbed him of his revenue. They also claim that Jim is certain that they intended to sabotage his business and ruin his life. The Blast   obtained and released court documents this week. In them, Jim Bellino claims that Shannon Beador  intentionally  disrupted his business relationships. “Shannon intended to disrupt those relationships” “and knew or should have known that disruption would result” “when she made the statements about Skyzone at issue in this case” “Disruption of those relationships has occurred” “as visitors who would otherwise regularly visit Skyzone no longer do because they have heard that ‘people get paralyzed’ there.” “In addition, I had the opportunity to purchase three trampoline parks before [Shannon]’s statements were made” He says that he was working with investors to make these purchases. When the investors ultimately backed out, he lost the opportunity, he claims, to make $1 million. He is laying the blame for this loss of potential income at the feet of Tamra and Shannon. We’re no experts on lawsuits (thankfully) or trampoline parks (again, thankfully), but here is what it looks like. Proving that attendance at his trampoline parks is down and specifically because of statements on a podcast … would be challenging. But it does sound like Jim Bellino needs to prove three major things to make his case. One, that Tamra and Shannon intended to sabotage his business. Two, that their actions — by which we mean discussing a few rumors on a podcast — pushed his potential investors to pull out. Three, that he really lost out on one million dollars as a result. He probably has the paperwork to illustrate that he missed out on $1 million, so that third one is probably a safe bet. Proving Shannon and Tamra’s intentions would require evidence that they planned this. That means  Tamra’s secret text messages  or finding something else to support his theory. Because you can’t prove someone’s intentions with nothing but suspicions. What’s going to be really interesting is that he may end up calling his would-be investors in to testify. Think about it this way: if he says that the investors backed out because of that podcast, he’ll need to prove it, right? If so, he may have to call upon them to testify. If he does not, we imagine that Tamra or Shannon’s attorneys might ask the investors themselves. if they say that it was something else, that could go a long way towards helping Shannon and Tamra out of this mess. This could end up blowing up in Jim’s face. That said, we’ll have to watch this suit play out in court before we know the results. Either side could surprise us all. Shannon Beador: All of My Castmates Hate Me and I Hate Tamra Judge!

That’s it for this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County . The season finale aired , and all that remains is the reunion. Shannon Beador’s feud with Tamra Judge has replaced what was once a solid friendship. In fact, it sounds like Shannon isn’t getting along with any of her castmates these days. RadarOnline reports that Shannon is really feeling the heat from her fellow Housewives. According to an inside source, Shannon is feeling “more victimized than ever” by her castmates these days. To be fair, she did watch a number of them talk about her behind her back recently. That has to sting. “Shannon believes everyone is against her,” the insider reports. Part of that problem may be that she’s just not close to any of them right now. Shannon feels alone against the world, a source explains, “and is so separated from the cast right now.” That can be a chilling feeling that can suck the fun right out of life — and out of being on a reality show. There is a huge silver lining — a light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. “But,” the insider notes. “She knows that she is coming back next season.” That was never really in doubt. Even before this season began, Shannon was a hot topic because of her acrimonious divorce. And during the season she was a frequent center of attention. There is one person in particular towards whom Shannon is feeling especially bitter. “Out of everyone,” the source says. “She feels most betrayed by Tamra.” Shannon and Tamra have been on the same side for a long time. Shannon’s a Real Housewife, so she knows that people talk. She just never expected for Tamra to be part of it. “This season really put a damper on their friendship,” the insider explains. “And,” the source says. “Watching the past couple of episodes was really hard on Shannon.” It made those months-old conflicts fresh again, and showed Shannon an ugly side of her “friends.” “By watching the episodes of RHOC that came after Jamaica,” the insider says. “Shannon was able to see how wrong she was about Tamra.” Even good friends vent about each other, but Tamra was questioning Shannon’s mental state. It struck a nerve. And it also didn’t mesh with Tamra’s explanation of events. Reality shows may be edited, but they aren’t conjured out of nowhere. They’re based on real footage. Shannon knows that better than most “and she knows that Tamra is a f–king liar.” Shannon and Tamra were once fast friends, but no longer. An insider does take a sympathetic tone when describing Tamra — that’s not something you hear very often. “Tamra cannot work things out with her,” the source laments. The insider continues, saying that it’s impossible to fix things “when the friendship was so one-sided.” Tamra viewed Shannon as selfish for worrying about her own struggles when Tamra’s husband had a health crisis. “The fact that Shannon ignored everything that Eddie was going through really hurt Tamra to the core,” the source claims. Apparently, the drama that we’ve seen on screen is just a taste of what is to come. “The s–t hits the fan at their reunion!” the insider announces. Well, that’s why they have them. “The reunion made things even worse for Shannon and Tamra,” the source shares. “And,” the insider concludes. “Since then, Shannon has been focused on her friends that are not television stars.” We will note that we’ve heard elsewhere that people left the reunion on more or less good terms. Well … except for Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson. Tamra has refused to take any real responsibility for her own words and behavior. Just last week, Tamra blamed Gina Kirschenheiter for ruining her friendship with Shannon . Combine that with what we’ve seen on The Real Housewives of Orange County and Tamra’s daughter’s words, and that seems to be who Tamra is as a person. No one is saying that Shannon is perfect — least of all Shannon. But even after her blowup in Jamaica, Shannon comes across as the sympathetic party, here. It sounds like she’s taking a bit of a break after the reunion, and we don’t blame her. Next season sure sounds interesting. We wonder who will return and who won’t. Tamra Judge: Gina Kirschenheiter RUINED My Friendship with Shannon Beador!

After the way that Tamra Judge betrayed Shannon Beador , it looks like Shannon isn’t speaking to Tamra . Now, Tamra has given a new interview. In it, she lays all of the blame for her fractured friendship at the feet of Gina Kirschenheiter. In an interview with TooFab , Tamra Judge says that she has now seen a very important The Real Housewives of Orange County scene. She says that it hasn’t convinced her that Gina is anything other than a sneaky saboteur. “To me,” Tamra says. “As I watch it, that’s what I see it like, It’s like, ‘Hey, now we’re friends, let’s team up.'” She is referring to Gina telling Shannon about what Tamra and others had said behind Shannon’s back. “It was really a weird situation,” Tamra shares. “Because she’s never been close to Shannon, ever.” Tamra doesn’t buy it: “So for her to say, ‘Oh, I’m so worried about your mental state,’ but yet, prior to that, all she was doing was shit-talking Shannon?” With those words, Gina drove a wedge between Tamra and Shannon’s friendship. “It wasn’t cool at all,” Tamra says. Tamra is especially critical of Gina’s timing. She says that it was a shady move, “especially when she had [cosmetic eye] surgery a few days prior.” We all saw that Shannon was trying to focus on her recovery at the time. “She just wanted to get her upset,” Tamra characterizes. Gina, in Tamra’s eyes, is just a troublemaker — a troublemaker with no clear endgame. “My biggest thing is like, what was her point of doing that?” Tamra asks. One does wonder what Gina had to gain, because Tamra doesn’t think that she was just trying to be earnest. “She [got close to] Shannon like 15 minutes ago,” Tamra characterizes. Tamra continues: “and all of a sudden, she wants to sit down and say, ‘Hey, let me just tell you what your friends are saying.'” “In Gina’s defense, she did say ‘friends,'” Tamra admits. Tamra says: “but when I got the message [from Shannon], it was more like, ‘Gina said you were saying all kinds of horrible things about my mental state.'” Clearly, Shannon was very distressed at the time. She has been going through so much this year. “And,” Tamra explains. “That’s why I said to Gina, ‘Let me hear your side of the story before I lose my s–t.'” “But her side of the story wasn’t great,” Tamra says. That said, it doesn’t sound like everyone’s still at each other’s throats. Tamra tells TooFab that she and the other Housewives parted ways “on decent terms” after filming the reunion special in October. “Nobody’s fighting,” Tamra claims. “Well, except for Kelly [Dodd] and Vicki [Gunvalson].” We all saw Kelly’s recent assessment of who should and should not return to the series. “It’s funny because neither one of them think the other should be on the show anymore,” Tamra says. “But I think they’re both great for the show,” Tamra notes. “They’re exactly what the show needs.” So, what was Gina’s real motive for speaking to Shannon? Maybe she really was just trying to be a good friend. Her characterization of what the other women were saying didn’t miss the mark by much. That said, chaos for the sake of chaos may have also been a motive. We’re not accusing Gina of being a chaos demon. But she’s a Real Housewife — you know that she wants to come back next season. The Real Housewives of Orange County Recap: Another Friendship Bites the Dust

The ladies of Orange County have been battling it out like never before on The Real Housewives of Orange County.  Monday’s episode of chronicled the fraught friendship between Tamra Judge and Gina Kirschenheiter.  The pair were still at odds over Gina dishing the goodies to Shannon about what was being said about her.  But Gina wanted to let bygones be bygones and wanted Tamra to attend her birthday bash, but Judge had an agenda of her own.  Tamra made her way over to Vicki’s house and revealed all about the growing tension between her and Gina.  “So I got a call from Shannon who said that Gina told her that I was talking all this stuff about her in Jamaica,” Tamra told Vicki.  But Vicki was so over what happened in Jamaica, saying: “Hello! Jamaica why are we still talking about Jamaica. We are done we are home now. I told Shannon if she has to get on anti-depressants than do it. But Shannon is not mentally ill.” In a hilarious segment, the two women decided against attending Gina’s party, and while it seemed more about Shannon being there, it was still pretty rude.  As for Gina, she was moving out of her family home and into her own bachelorette pad following her decision to divorce her husband. “I am realizing that Mrs. Kirschenheiter is no more,” Gina said before claiming this would be her first birthday as a single woman.  Gina then told her new BFF Kelly Dodd that she was keeping her divorce on the down low from her children.  The ladies subsequently met up at Emily Simpson’s for a fortune reading party, and things quickly got out of hand.  “I have texted Shannon to ask how her surgery went. She did not answer, but I just wanted her to know how it went,” Emily said. “Hopefully you are on the up and up,” Tamra said to Emily about Shannon. “I feel bad, but I am honestly over Shannon at this point,” said Gina who was still in hot water with Tamra. “I am trying to help, and you are trying to help her, and now this whole thing is about me and you and do I think you are a sh***y friend.”   All seemed to go quiet on the Shannon front until the fortune reader told the ladies that a “woman with an S in her name needed help.” Okay then, Bravo to the producers for this random twist.  The episode’s final moments focused on Gina questioning where Shannon, Tamra, and Vicki were after everyone but them arrived at her birthday party.  We cut away to a scene with Tamra, Vicki, and Shannon together having a party of their own.  “So I told you both what happened. The one thing that kind of upset me was that Emily said, ‘Because I grew up with a mentally ill mom, I saw some similarities with Shannon,’” Tamra said.  That’s when Shannon lost it.  “This is a person that threatened to kill Kelly! How dare she? Mentally ill? F**k her,” Shannon yelled as the episode faded to black.  Oh yes, it’s on! What are your thoughts on the latest big twist? Shannon Beador and Vicki Gunvalson Wake Up From Surgery on This Sneak Peek

In the aftermath of Shannon Beador flipping out and then apologizing to her fellow Housewives, the show needs some levity. In this The Real Housewives of Orange County sneak peek, Shannon and Vicki have both undergone surgery. When they come to, however, their experiences are very different. One of them is deeply hilarious. “In a perfect world, would I like to have my partner waiting for me when I get out of surgery?” Shannon asks. She asks if she would love to have such a partner “putting his arm around me, saying ‘I’m going to take care of you and everything’s going to be OK?’” She answers her own questions: “Absolutely.” Obviously, anyone wants emotional support, especially when they're just coming out of surgery. Since Shannon is currently single, however, she doesn't have that. Fortunately, Shannon knows how to keep things in perspective. “But you know what?” Shannon asks rhetorically. “I have a driver,” Shannon says. “And Sophie and the kids are waiting for me when I get home.” That's more than a lot of people have. Shannon concludes: “And that’s all I can ask for.” It's always good to focus on the positives in your life, rather than simply on what you don't have. We promised that there would be some levity in this clip, and there absolutely is. Vicki Gunvalson also went into the hospital to have some face-fillers removed. Her boyfriend, Steve Lodge, arrived to show her moral support — you know, the kind that Shannon would have liked. Vicki was still a little loopy, however, and immediately asks Steve some awkward questions. “Do you love me?” Vicki asks. “Am I pretty?” It sounds like Shannon might be better off. People aren't always at their best when they're under the influence. Vicki then tells Steve that she has “no panties on right now.” Earlier this year, Vicki explained why she intended to have her face fillers removed. “I had a lot of fillers in my face and I didn’t feel like it was me anymore,” Vicki said. “I had too many doctors, too many different times say ‘let’s do this, let’s do that, let’s fill here, let’s do Voluma, let’s do Sculptra,’” Vicki continues. You know, on the very first episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County that I ever saw, she was having a botox party. It seems that she's changed her tune. “And,” Vicki says. “By the time I was done I looked in the mirror and was like COMMA ‘I don’t even look like myself.’” Apparently, part of that has been Steve's supportive influence.  “I said to him the other day, ‘My boobies are a little bit lower. I want them higher up here,’” Vicki shares. Vicki says that Steve didn't agree: “He goes, ‘You promised me you wouldn’t do anything else,’” “No,” Vicki decides. “For right now I’m at peace.” Good for her! It's always easy to poke fun at women who undergo multiple cosmetic procedures on their faces and breasts. Of course, it starts to get considerably less funny once you think about the powerful social forces that demand that women look a certain way. These cultural pressures are compounded for women who are on television, for older women, and for women who are trying to date. Some would say that Vicki and Shannon almost had no choice but to go under the knife a time or two if they wanted to remain on television. That is a grim thought.

Shannon Beador: JEALOUS of Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter?

Viewers of  The Real Housewives of Orange County  watched  Shannon Beador flip out  on anyone and everyone in sight. While  Shannon did apologize , it really pulled into focus how unfriendly she has been towards the two newest cast members. Is Shannon  jealous  of Emily and Gina? Kelly Dodd has a theory. … When asked who is the biggest buzzkill, Kelly Dodd reluctantly names Shannon. “I have to say, Shannon is the best, the most fun, I hang out with her the most,” Kelly begins. “But she can just take it down,” Kelly says, snapping. The implication here is that Shannon can turn an otherwise enjoyable time into a miserable one if she's in the right mood. Kelly clearly doesn't mean it as an insult, just as a fact. A new caller asks Kelly why it seems that Shannon is initially unfriendly to newer members of the  RHOC  cast. The caller speculates that perhaps Shannon is jealous of these women. “Shannon's not jealous of anyone,” Kelly quickly states. Kelly explains Shannon's apparent cold shoulder: “It just takes her a long time to warm up to people.” “I mean, not everybody has to like everyone,” Kelly reasons. Kelly wants to make it clear that there's a difference between being slow to make friends and being a stone cold b–ch. “But Shannon is such a great person once you get to know and meet her,” Kelly insists. You know what? That's not surprising to hear. Kelly continues: “She's just an awesome, awesome person.” Shannon's recently aired outburst in Jamaica was the exception, not the rule. Andy then comments about how it's been a real treat to watch Kelly and Shannon's relationship develop. The two of them are now real friends.  Once upon a time, Shannon didn't really give Kelly the time of day. Now, things have really changed. “I just talked to her tonight,” Kelly mentions as an example. Earlier in October, Shannon explained why she didn't start to instantly become friends with Emily or Gina or other new Housewives. “I will admit,” Shannon says. “Because I will own my part — that I don’t like change.” “When two new girls come in and they’re almost half my age, it’s like, OK …” she explains. “We don’t have that much in common,” Shannon reasons. “So you get to a point where you have to prioritize.” “I have a business, I have three kids on my own, and I’m going through things that are taking up my time,” she points out. “So,” Shannon asks. “Should I put those aside so I can spend time with a 32-year-old?” First of all, shout-out to Shannon Beador for making a lot of us feel young by thinking she can't even  relate  to a woman in her thirties. Yes, Gina Kirschenheiter is in her thirties — she's 34, not 32, but that's all the same to Shannon. Emily Simpson, for the record, is about 20 years older than that. But Shannon wasn't only citing age. For the most part, she just has a lot on her plate. And, as Kelly says, she doesn't make friends instantly.
