Part of Nicki’s problem was that she was embarrassed. Why? Well: “The way [these upper echelon people] passed by looking at this disgusting commotion, I was mortified … How we (and I’m going to use WE loosely) made ourselves look was mortifying.” A lot of people took this as Nicki saying she wanted to look prim and proper for white people. Now she’s a sellout? She cares too much about what white people think? Is there some hypocrisy here? Wendy Williams has made another baseless accusation in the name of headlines and ratings. In the opening segment of her talk show on Monday, the painful host went off on Taylor Swift for no reason reason whatsoever. Wendy Williams Slams Taylor Swift Detailing how Swift has amassed 50 million Instagram followers , becoming more popular on social media than Kim Kardashian and Beyonce, Williams noted that Taylor keeps her clothes on in her Instagram photos. “All Taylor does is expose pictures of her cats,” the talk show host said. Okay, true. Fair enough. But Williams wasn’t finished. “I think she’s probably meaner than Beyonce and Kim put together,” Wendy said for no reason at all, adding that “Taylor Swift is the queen of the mean… she’s sneaky and smart about doing it.” Williams went on to say Swift has “hypnotized” members of her squad “to think that she’s the bees knees.” “We’ve never seen Kim and Beyonce bake and cook,” said the host before alleging Swift’s “trying to trick us into making us think she’s a good woman ’cause she bakes and cooks.” This is the same woman who also slammed Caitlyn Jenner for not being an actual woman , so we shouldn’t be surprised by anything she says. Despite crashing her car and lying to police , Lindsay Lohan’s career has yet to crash and burn. The hot mess just landed another movie role! Currently starring as Elizabeth Taylor in Liz & Dick , Lohan has also been booked for The Canyons, a contemporary thriller, according to E! The film will document “five twentysomethings’ quest for power, love, sex and success in 2012 Hollywood” and is written by Bret Easton Ellis. It was Ellis himself who first broke news of Lindsay Lohan’s casting on Twitter, along with that of her leading man … porn star James Deen. “James Deen and Lindsay Lohan have been cast in The Canyons,” he wrote in the first of a series of tweets retweeted by Lindsay herself. “And I am beyond thrilled that James Deen and Lindsay Lohan will be playing the parts of Christian and Tara in The Canyons by BEE.” “Could not have dreamed of a better cast. Lindsay nailed it.” That’s what the guy driving the 18-wheeler said. Too soon? Anyway, her camp says that while she got the role and agreed to it, her lawyers are still working out the details, so it’s not quite a done deal. Provided she stays out of jail, she’s excited in any case. “The appeal of this role for Lindsay is getting to work with Paul Schrader,” a source said of the writer-director of Taxi Driver and Raging Bull . Shooting on the film takes place in Los Angeles from July 9-31. Yes, Private Practice fans, the rumors are true: Kate Walsh is leaving after the show’s 13-episode sixth season. The actress herself confirmed the news this morning during an appearance on Bethenny , telling the host and her viewers: “This is my last season of Private Practice . It’s been an incredible journey and an amazing ride… and I feel incredibly grateful to [series creator] Shonda Rhimes and all the fans that have been there from day one ’til now.” Bethenny Promo ABC is yet to confirm whether season six will be the final one for the show itself, but Walsh is looking forward to her exit and how it will play out. “I’m really excited about the last season. I am,” she told Frankel, concluding of her decision to depart: “It’s bittersweet… a huge chapter of my life.” Bethenny premiered her daily talk show on Monday by trying to milk divorce rumors for ratings. He stars as Reese Witherspoon’s love interest in the romantic drama “Water for Elephants.” And while this time around they’re playing lovers, in the past, Pattinson has played Witherspoon’s son. “It is very bizarre,” he said of the casting on the “Today” show on Monday (April 18). “I think that’s kind of bizarre [that] they cast me as her son,” he added, referring to the 2004 flick “Vanity Fair.” His part was later cut. In the film, Pattinson’s character joins the circus after his parents are killed in a car accident. But in real life, the “Twilight” star never romanticized about a life under the big top. “Running away and joining the circus? [No], the first time I went to the circus somebody died,” he recalled. “One of the clowns died; the joke car exploded. It was terrifying.” Pattinson, however, does have a more romantic view of the time period in which the film takes place. “I think that period, the ’30s, was the most exciting; the end of the Wild West,” he explained. “I always found it kind of interesting and then it turned into white picket fences.” He plays a veterinarian in the film, and he admits that while the old Hollywood maxim is “Never work with children or animals,” Pattinson sort of lives by the opposite. “I think it’s so much better. I like working with kids. I like working with animals,” he said, sharing one warning for fans: “The zebras are the ones to watch out for; always avoid zebras.” Pattinson hopes that as his career chugs along, he’ll still be able to get viewers in the seats, even in a post-“Twilight” world. “Who knows? Despite recent health crises, Michaels tells the ‘Today’ show, ‘I’m ready to rock.’ By Jocelyn Vena After beating Holly Robinson Peete on Sunday night’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” Bret Michaels sat down with Meredith Vieira on the “Today” show on Monday (May 24) to say that although he’s not back to his old self yet, he is ready to make the strides to get there. “It’s great and awesome to be here. … The doctor said it’s not very smart to be here, but I’m not a very smart guy in that capacity. I really knew I wanted to be [at the finale],” he told the anchor. “This is the truth: I’m not back 100 percent yet, but I’m one of those guys that I have to have a goal, and I’m very driven, and I say this truthfully, I love life.” Michaels noted during the interview that his intention of winning “Celebrity Apprentice” hadn’t changed even after the several medical crises he’s experienced in the past month. “When I went in there to do the show, I was committed 100 percent,” he said. “Everybody wants to win for their cause and I went in there, I had no intention to hurt anybody. My intention was to do the best job I can do. When I had the hemorrhage I thought it was over. I got to tell you I was so happy to have been there. I set my goal.” While Michaels is taking his recovery day by day, he says that he’s looking forward to performing again, including his planned summer tour. “I say this much, I don’t know that I’m ready yet and I’m going to take it in baby steps,” he explained. “I’ve had so many amazing fans. … I’m ready to get out of the hospital and on the road.
