Elementary School Staff Under Investigation After Marijuana Brownies Make Unsuspecting Staff High This may or may not be a prank gone sour, the police are investigating the facts… Authorities were called to investigate food served in the teacher’s lounge area of a suburban Detroit school, after 3 staff members complained of food poisoning. One of the three educators visited the hospital, we they were told they tested positive for marijuana. The remaining brownies were tested after police were notified and positively contained marijuana. Schools officials from the district say they are working with law enforcement to determine who brought the brownies to school. District officials say they don’t know whether they were put out intentionally or brought by mistake, according to the Chicago Tribune . SMH, this is why you shouldn’t be diving head first into everyone’s snacks at work.

Mother of Robin Roberts Passes Away

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Robin Roberts today. The Good Morning America co-anchor – who is taking an extended leave of absence in order to receive a bone marrow transplant from her sister in response to a rare blood disorder – is now faced with a new personal tragedy: Her mother passed away last night. Lucimarian Tolliver Roberts was 88 years old and the first African American to head Mississippi’s Board of Education. Roberts flew to Mississippi yesterday to be by her ailing parent’s bedside and her GMA colleague George Stephanopoulos confirmed today that Robin did at least make it there in time to say goodbye. A note was distributed to ABC staff members last night that referred to Robin’s “beautiful and inspiring mother” and added: “It has always been clear where Robin got her strength, faith and spirit. You didn’t need to look far.”

Cops Thwart Paparazzi From Accosting Paris Jackson

Two members of the paparazzi were handcuffed by the cops after allegedly blowing through red lights while chasing Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris. TMZ says the photographers ( not TMZ or THG staff members) were allegedly chasing a car Paris was in, blowing red lights and driving recklessly. No arrests have been made because police didn’t see the chase take place. There will not even be any citations given, for exactly the same reason. Still, the paps were thwarted and beat it. Paris, the middle child of Michael’s three, in a photo taken last month . No word if Prince Michael and Blanket were also with her. A crime report will be written and forwarded to the L.A. City Attorney for possible prosecution, so that’s something. We’re just glad Paris is okay.
