The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 16 Recap: Bang! Bang!

Did Deanna cast out Rock from Alexandria? Did Glenn become the show’s latest casualty? Did Gabriel get what he deserved? Forget asking questions. Let’s get right to the answers that were prevalent on The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 16 , shall we? Watch The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 16 Online We opened with Morgan beating up a dude with a “W” written on his forehead. He said the letter stood for “Wolf” because, many years ago, the first settlers in the region has placed bounties on the heads of these animals. In Alexandria, Rick woke up and didn’t know if he should stop lying or take over the town. Nearby, Maggie tried to convince Deanna now to banish Rick, who later told Carl that he would do whatever it took… even if it meant killing a resident. Prior to the town meeting on Rick’s fate, the leader admitted to Michonne that he, Daryl and Carol had taken guns and kept them from her. But Michonne insisted she’d always be on Team Rick. Following a nice scene with Maggie, Glenn tailed Nicholas when he went into the woods (with his gun). Naturally, the first opportunity he got, Nicholas went ahead and shot Glenn. But it takes more than one bullet to take out Glenn, who proceeded to attack his nemesis when a walker approached. However, Glenn being Mr. Nice Guy, he ended up helping Nicholas escape. Also in the woods, Gabriel pulled off the head of a walker (with a noose) and bashed in its skull. He then curled up in a ball and bawled. Later tasked by Spencer to close the gate behind him, Gabriel left it open. He went back to to the chapel and told Sasha that Bob’s death was due to her sins. She would eventually pull a gun on him, only for Maggie to break things up and join those two in a prayer circle. Daryl and Aaron, meanwhile, were trailing a poncho-wearing stranger, oblivious to events in Alexandria. They ended up getting into a car to avoid a bunch of walkers as a food processing plants, with Daryl volunteering to take them on in order to save Aaron. But Aaron would hear of it. As you’ll note when you watch The Walking Dead online , however, Morgan came along and saved the day. Aaron then invited Morgan to consider a spot in their community, though Morgan turned him down. He’s on his way to D.C. 23 Shocking TV Deaths 1. Katherine Pierce Katherine Pierce was literally dragged to Hell on The Vampire Diaries. We’d like to think she’s dancing and drinking somewhere on The Other Side still. 2. Sophie Deveraux So much for Sophie Deveraux as a key player on The Originals. Her Season 1 death served as a shocker. 3. Moira Queen We can still feel the pain of Moira Queen’s death on Arrow. It’s almost as if we were the ones who were stabbed. 4. Will Gardner We know actor Josh Charles wanted to leave The Good Wife. But we still have nightmares about Will Gardner being gunned down in a courtroom. Advertisement A message from our sponsor. 5. Oberyn Martell If you’re gonna go out, we suppose you might as well have your eyes literally crushed, as we witnessed with Oberyn Martell on Game of Thrones. 6. Leslie Shay We did NOT see this one coming. Chicago Fire opened Season 3 by killing off Shay. 7. Joss Carter Yes, we miss Joss Carter on Person of Interest. But we now LOVE Taraji P. Henson on Empire! 8. Nicholas Brody Nicholas Brody ran his course on Homeland. But the show was at its best when he and Carrie were going head-to-head, in more ways than one. Advertisement A message from our sponsor. 9. Tara Knowles Rest in peace, Tara Knowles. You deserved better than to be carved up by Gemma in the kitchen of your own home. 10. Hershel Greene Rest in peace as well, Hershel Greene. It seems like you had so much more wisdom to pass along on The Walking Dead. 11. Allison Argent It should not come as a surprise when someone dies on a show such as Teen Wolf. But we miss you, Allison Argent! 12. Patti We mostly just love Ann Dowd, but we’re at least encouraged by the fact that Patti doesn’t appear to be fully dead on The Leftovers. Advertisement A message from our sponsor. 13. Alcide Herveaux It’s not so much that Alcide Herveaux died on True Blood. It’s that his death was glossed over and forgotten about so quickly. 14. Walter White No, it was not surprising that Walter White died to conclude Breaking Bad. But his death simply has to be acknowledged in any list such as this. 15. Denny Yes, we’re going old school here. Only because the death of Denny on Grey’s Anatomy may have been the saddest TV death of all-time. 16. Daniel Grayson Bang! Bang! He’s dead. But, hey, at least Daniel Grayson got to see Emily Thorne naked on Revenge. Advertisement A message from our sponsor. 17. Zoe Barnes Zoe Barnes met her demise when Frank Underwood pushed her in front of a train to kick off House of Cards Season 2. 18. Omar Little Omar never meant to harm anyone who didn’t deserve it on The Wire. He was shot and killed during a convenience store run. 19. King Henry King Henry went sort of insane before meeting his end on Reign. It was a blast to watch! 20. Matthew Crawley Actor Dan Stevens wanted off Downton Abbey, so producers KILLED him off. Poor, poor Mary. Advertisement A message from our sponsor. 21. Mona Vanderwaal We reserve the right to change this if it turns out Mona Vanderwaal is actually alive on Pretty Little Liars. 22. Dr. Lance Sweets We watched Sweets grow up before our eyes on Bones. And then we watched him die. 23. Harrison Wright Scandal had no choice but to kill off Harrison Wright. Just Google all actor Columbus Short got into away from set. The End. Up Next: ” 23 Shocking TV Deaths .” We’ll be redirecting you shortly… We end at the town meeting, the one to which Rick did not show (because he was dispatching a walker who had wandered through the gate). He finally arrived with the dead zombie over his shoulder and vowed to “show” everyone how to handle their undead rivals. But then Pete entered… with Michonne’s sword in hand. He killed an intervening Reg and Deanna told Rick to “do it.” To go ahead and kill Pete. Without hesitation, Rick shot Pete… just as Morgan appeared at the gate with Daryl and Aaron. After the concluding credits, Michonne started wearing her sword again, while we saw the poncho dude (having been killed by Morgan’s attackers) walking past a vehicle with “wolves not far” spray-painted on it. What did everyone think of The Walking Dead Season 5 finale? Sound off now and then check out the first promo for Fear the Walking Dead : Fear the Walking Dead Teaser

Wrestlemania 31 Results: A New Champion is Crowed

Sting fought in the WWE for the first time. The Undertaker rose from the dead. The Rock appeared. And the Money in the Bank Suitcase was cashed in. Airing live from Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco last night, Wrestlemania 31 provided non-stop thrills and shocks. Scroll down for a full rundown of the surprising results… Cesaro and Tyson Kidd continued to dominate the tag team ranks by winning the fatal four-way. A chaotic opening match was highlighted by a Sharpshooter on Torito. The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal was won by the only real heir to that legend, The Big Show. It included Mizdow refusing to help Miz fight Big Show… and then Mizdow eliminating Miz . Following a crazy spot-fest and heatbutts galore, Daniel Bryan knocked Ziggler off the top of the ladder, winning the Intercontinental Title and causing the crowd to be on a high at the outset of the televised broadcast. YES! YES! YES! Randy Orton defeated Seth Rollins with possibly the greatest RKO in history. It served as a counter to the curb stomp, with Orton tossing Rollins way up in the air before slamming him down. In a stunning turn of events, Sting lost to Triple H . But then DX ran out, with Sting splashing down on them from the top rope. And then the NWO came out!!! There was Hogan! And Scott Hall! And HBK superkicking Sting! And Sting’s bat smashing Triple H’s sledgehammer. For a few minutes, at least, the Monday Night Wars returned – and it was glorious. AJ Lee and Paige defeated The Bella Twins, with Nikki tapping out to the Black Widow. Following a huge “ JOHN CENA SUUUUCKS ” set to his theme music, Cena went ahead and beat Rusev in your basic John Cena match. Not much to really say about it. But then The Rock came out after Triple H and Stephanie went to to the ring to gloat. He was quickly joined by Ronda Rousey (who costars in Furious 7 ) and they laid the smack down on the First Couple of the WWE. The Undertaker returned to start a new Wrestelmania streak against Bray Wyatt. He went “Old School,” he used a pair of Tombstones and his defeated creepy, crawly handstanding opponent. In the main event, Brock Lesnar basically dominated Roman Reigns for a solid 15 minutes. But he then got busted open, bleeding profusely, only to still kick out after a trio of Superman Punches and a couple spears. Before the match even ended, Rollins came out and put himself into the contest (via the Money in the Bank suitcase). Back and forth we went until Rollins used the Curb Stomp to pin Reigns and win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Lady Gaga, Bruce Springsteen Help Sting Celebrate His 60th

Former Police-man’s star-studded birthday show also featured Billy Joel, will.i.am and Mary J. Blige. By Gil Kaufman Lady Gaga performs with others at Sting’s 60th birthday concert Photo: Getty Images Most people turn 60 with a quiet party among friends or maybe a surprise bash put together on the DL by their spouses that features a hilarious slideshow or funny video. Not Sting . The former Police frontman and solo star plugged in and played with everyone from Lady Gaga to Mary J. Blige and Bruce Springsteen in celebration of his 60th birthday on Saturday night at the Beacon Theater in New York. The event, a charity fundraiser for the anti-poverty group the Robin Hood Foundation , included Gaga on piano banging out a jazzy cover of the Police’s “King of Pain,” giving the sedate ballad the same kind of electric energy she brings to her own key-thumper “You and I,” according to Rolling Stone . She traded lines with Sting on a stage packed with up to 20 musicians, including a string section and backup singers, who helped the eternally youthful singer work his way though his 30-plus-year catalog of hits. Among the other highlights: Stevie Wonder doing a duet with Sting on “Fragile,” will.i.am throwing a freestyle rap and bits of the BEP’s “I Gotta Feelin’ ” into the Police’s “Walking on the Moon,” Billy Joel marking a rare return to the stage for renditions of “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” and “Don’t Stand So Close to Me,” Rufus Wainwright singing “Wrapped Around Your Finger,” and Sting teaming up with his son Joe for a moving rendition of the tune Sting wrote about his own relationship with his pops, “Why Should I Cry For You?” One of the highlights of the evening was the mini-set with Springsteen, who waltzed out with his guitar to sing the sedate death-row ballad “I Hung My Head,” which featured a raucous guitar solo. He also performed a solo version of “Fields of Gold” on 12-string guitar and harmonica, with one verse sung a cappella. Sting came out to sing “Can’t Stand Losing You” with the Boss, with the two men leaning in to each other and howling the lyrics into the same microphone. The night ended with the party’s guests trading lines on “Every Breath You Take,” with Gaga nodding to her piano icon, Joel, while singing the line “Can’t you see/ You’re the one for me.” Sting closed out the show with a solo acoustic version of “Message in a Bottle,” which was followed by wife Trudie Styler surprising him with a dozen bagpipers and a confetti drop that got the one-named rock icon misty. “Thank you a million times,” he told the crowd as he and the missus danced together onstage. Lady Gaga Joins Bruce Springsteen, Elton John At Sting’s Rainforest Benefit

By Gil Kaufman Lady Gaga and Bruce Springsteen perform in New York on Thursday Photo: Kevin Kane/ Getty Images In the past year Lady Gaga has risen from little-known dance act to one of today’s major international superstars. But how do you know you’ve really arrived? It’s when you get invited to perform at Sting’s annual Rainforest Fund benefit show. On Thursday night (May 13) Gaga was on-hand for the star-studded show at New York’s Carnegie Hall, which also featured performances by Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, host Sting, Mary J. Blige and Blondie’s Debbie Harry. Wearing a frumpy gray old-lady wig, a white mini-hoop skirt and matching leggings that looked like they were made out of Ace bandages, Gaga sat down at the piano for what the New York Daily News described as a “sober version of one of the most earnest pop songs of all time,” Ben E. King’s timeless “Stand by Me.” She also hooked up with pop icon John again for a run through her song “Speechless,” which segued into his hit “Your Song” in what the paper described as a seamless collaboration between two stars who seemed “made for each other.” The 21st annual show opened with Sting singing “Englishman in New York.” He later hooked up with Mary J. for their duet, “Whenever I Say Your Name.” Springsteen belted out Bryan Adams’ “Cuts Like a Knife” and “Dancing in the Dark.” Though he played such classics as “Philadelphia Freedom,” John also got in on the cover action, taking on the Lovin’ Spoonful’s “Summer in the City” and Madonna’s “Like a Virgin” and “Material Girl,” accompanied by a kick line of male go-go dancers wearing Speedos. Harry performed the Blondie classic “The Tide Is High,” while Dame Shirley Bassey busted out two of her iconic James Bond themes, “Goldfinger” and “Diamonds Are Forever,” as well as her hit “Big Spender.” Chic leader Nile Rodgers served up “Le Freak” and Sting returned later in the show for a cover of the Fine Young Cannibals’ 1989 hit “She Drives Me Crazy.” The whole gang ended the night by taking on Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.” Related Artists Lady Gaga Elton John Bruce Springsteen
