Source: Harry How / Getty With his glory days behind him as he considers riding off into the retirement sunset, Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzk i was honored for his court contributions in a most classy fashion. Los Angeles Clippers Doc Rivers used a timeout during a contest to urge the Staples Center crowd to stand and clap for Nowitzki. ESPN reports : Dirk Nowitzki had no idea why LA Clippers coach Doc Rivers called a timeout with 9.4 seconds remaining and his team leading by nine points Monday night. Rivers’ reasoning became clear seconds later when he walked to the scorer’s table, picked up the public address announcer’s microphone and gave an impromptu tribute to Nowitzki, the legendary face of the Dallas Mavericks franchise who is in his 21st season. “Dirk! Dirk!” Rivers hollered, gesturing to the Staples Center crowd to show its appreciation to the all-time great who was playing perhaps his last game in the arena, then pointing toward Nowitzki. “Let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s go!” “One of the greatest of all time, Dirk Nowitzki!” Dirk Nowitzki hasn’t officially retired but it’s rumored he will step down at the conclusion of the current NBA season. — Photo: Getty

Since the baller injured his groin on Christmas day, the star has been making the absolute most of his time off after it was revealed that he would miss the next few games. He’s been using this time to tweet about his most anticipated movies, he won an award, and he even recruited some potential future teammates. But none of those actions showed just how much LeBron was enjoying his time off until last night, when King James decided to waltz into the Staples Center for the Lakers game while enjoying a nice glass of red wine. Jesus Take The Wheel: Remains Of 63 Infants Found At Detroit Funeral Home

Pascal Deloche/Getty Images 63 Infant Remains Found At Detroit Funeral Home A horrifying story is coming out of Detroit where authorities made TWO shocking discoveries about local funeral homes. The remains of over 60 infants were found at the city’s Perry Funeral Home reports WXYZ Detroit . This comes a week after 11 infant bodies were found hidden in the ceiling of a different Detroit funeral home, Cantrell Funeral Home. The outlet reports that officers found 36 fetuses in cardboard boxes and 27 more in freezers. The conditions of the fetuses are unknown. Perry Funeral Home has been shut down by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). Their violations include; Three unrefrigerated boxes containing the remains of a total of approximately 36 deceased bodies of fetuses or infants plus a deep freezer containing an unknown number of additional deceased bodies. Some of the deceased had dates of death in 2015. Respondents failed to certify and file death certificates for the dead bodies of the fetuses and infants for whom they assumed custody with the appropriate governmental authority within 72 hours of death. The funeral home owner has since spoken out and they’re denying any wrongdoing. According to the owner who released a statement via a lawyer to WXYZ, the funeral home operated within compliance. “A funeral home cannot bury remains without proper authorization and the law in Michigan sets forth a hierarchy for authority. Perry relied upon and operated within that hierarchy…” How crazy is this story? Our hearts go out to the parents of these infants who thought their lost loved ones were being handled with dignity and respect.

Floyd Mayweather Agrees To MMA Fight With Conor McGregor Conor McGregor has been gunning for this for a minute, calling Floyd every kind of coward and punk in the book for refusing to fight him. Floyd has largely let the chatter brush off his shoulders…until now. Mayweather is finally breaking, saying that if MMA Champion Conor McGregor and his crew can throw enough zeroes on the situation, he’ll hop in the ring with the MMA champ and shut him up once and for all. Mayweather says he’ll come out of retirement SPECIFICALLY to whopp Conor’s azz and doesn’t want to hear any excuses from the UFC about it. Via TMZ : “…for Conor McGregor, I’m coming out of retirement … just to fight Conor McGregor.” I don’t want to hear no more excuses about the money, about the UFC. Sign the paper with the UFC so you can fight me in June. Simple and plain. Let’s fight in June. You’re the B side, I’m the A side.” Thing is…we aren’t sure if this is supposed to be a boxing match or an MMA battle. As much as each sport is similar, they’re also incredibly different, and we’d wager that one or both fighters could get hurt pretty badly if one or the other fights outside his known element. Kwauhuru Govan is suspected of beheading and dismembering 2 people back in 2005. Police also suspect Kwauhuru of more victims, but right now he’s in court for the 2 bodies found in 05. Govan has insisted he is innocent and even did a NYDAILY interview from Rikers saying the victims were like family and he had “no motives, means or opportunity.” Kwauhurus DNA was found under both dismembered victims fingernails.

A year after stumbling through a Grammy Awards performance that was marred by technical difficulties, everyone's favorite British singer opened the 2017 version of the event by belting out one of her all-time classics. In front of a packed crowd inside Staples Center in Los Angeles, Adele simply stood on stage Sunday night and did what she does best: Sing . The 28-year old dazzles in a sparkling dress during a rendition of “Hello,” hitting every note perfectly and performing with the sort of heart and soul we've grown used to hearing from one of the world' best artists. And then she closed the number with a shout-out to her four-year old son. “Hello baby,” she said sweetly after completing the song, presumably a reference to little Angelo James at home. Before the ceremony began, Adele won the Grammys for best pop solo performance (for “Hello”) and best pop vocal album (for 25). She's pretty darn good, isn't she? Along with an Album of the Year nomination, meanwhile, Adele's latest record earned a pop vocal album of the year nomination, while “Hello,” was up for record of the year, song of the yearand best pop solo performance.
