Nymphomaniac Trailer: Released, REALLY NSFW (But So Artistic)!

Shia LaBeouf goes all out with co-star Stacy Martin in the new teaser trailer for Lars Von Trier’s upcoming sex flick Nymphomaniac. And we mean all out. We are talking about raw sex. Nymphomaniac Teaser Trailer The very NSFW trailer begins with dramatic organ music before LaBeouf is shown thrusting passionately on top of Martin. Both thespians are quite nude. Finally, Shia is shown sticking his tongue deep into Martin’s mouth. In another scene, a man is shown performing oral sex on Martin, who goes full-frontal. Earlier this month, a bevy of Nymphomaniac posters were released featuring the film’s stars – all 14 of them – naked and showing viewers their o-faces. The film is already getting major buzz, and it’s easy to see why. The actors, including LaBeouf, hold nothing back in a graphic movie even by today’s standards. “I have ethics. I’m not completely out of my mind,” the actor, 27, who went naked for a music video last year, has said of going nude on the big screen. “But I don’t think there’s anything wrong with sex. Sex is beautiful if it’s done right. And I wouldn’t just do it for no reason. Sex is different than love.” “There is a separation, and that middle gap is what the movie’s about.” There looks to be a lot of intense bonking in that gap, just FYI. Seriously. This trailer is so sexy that YouTube won’t even air it and we had to embed Vimeo.

Will You Be Watching? New ‘Scandal’ Season 3 Promo Pics Released

‘Scandal’ Season 3 Promo Pics Released The countdown is on and poppin’ for the season 3 premiere of ABC’s hit drama series “Scandal.” There’s been a few tidbits and even a teaser trailer released giving some insight as to what will go down on the first episode, and now promo pics of the entire casts have hit the web. The general “theme” of the promo shots seems to allude to some key players being left out in rain, while others appear to weather the storm. Guess we’ll have to wait until the October 5th premiere to find out for sure, but in the mean time, you can peep the pics and see if you can’t figure out what they mean on the flip. Continue reading

The Boxtrolls: Trailer and New Poster Released

If you like the animation and story telling style of Laika Studios’  Coraline  and ParaNorman then you’ll no doubt like their newest project,  The Boxtrolls . The premise of the new film is a little odd, which comes as no surprise to those of us who have followed Laika Studio’s but this even seems weird for them.  The Boxtrolls are a group of monsters that live under the streets of a town called Cheesebridge. They have been wrongly accused by the citizen of Cheesebridge of stealing young children and smelly cheese, a logical combination. It is up to an orphan boy named Eggs, to clear the good name of the Boxtrolls.  Check out The Boxtrolls teaser trailer after the jump! The Boxtrolls Teaser Trailer Voiced by great names like Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Ben Kingsley, and Toni Collette and directed by Anthony Sttachi and Graham Annable, this movie looks, and sounds, adorable and will surely delight next fall. The Boxtrolls  is scheduled to open in theaters in September of 2014. In other animated movie news, check out the newest Turbo trailer !

New ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Teaser: The Wrath Of Cumberbatch?

It’s impressive how much J.J. Abrams and the folks at Bad Robot manage to pack into the new teaser trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness without revealing, well, the actual plot of the summer 2013 sequel. Space action! Benedict Cumberbatch ! That darned hands-on-glass scene that just screams ” I have been and always shall be your friend !” Watch the action-packed teaser below and let’s get to piecing together the puzzle. The teaser is big on setting up an ambiguous adversarial relationship between Kirk (Chris Pine) and Cumberbatch, but Captain Pike’s voice over seems more telling of the themes Star Trek Into Darkness will hit: Kirk’s bravado, and the danger it poses to his crew. Despite the out of context flashes of intriguing set pieces — Star Wars ian spaceship action, that leap off a cliff, that other leap off a building, and what appears to be the Enterprise crash-landing in water — the hands moment ends the tease with a clear nod to Wrath of Khan , although we can’t tell who’s on what side of the glass. Still, something tells me there are more clues hidden in this teaser than we might think, like this brief shot of Noel Clarke’s as-yet unidentified character. As seen in the first nine minutes of the film , Clarke plays a man whose ailing daughter Cumberbatch approaches at a London hospital and offers to save. Here we see him in a possibly-Starfleet uniform as he appears to drop a thumble full of something into a glass of water — perhaps fulfilling his end of his deal with the Cumber-Devil? What intriguing bits and clues do you see in the teaser? Chime in below. Star Trek Into Darkness hits theaters May 17, 2013. Follow Jen Yamato on Twitter . Follow Movieline on Twitter .

Donald Trump on Kate Middleton Topless Pics: All Her Fault, Totally Fair Game!

The shocking release of Kate Middleton topless photos, taken from a distance while she was at a private villa in France, has sparked debate over the ethics of celebrity media coverage. Most people tend to sympathize with the Duchess of Cambridge here. Donald Trump, however, is not most people. In a series of Tweets, the blowhard opined that Middleton herself is to blame for the nude photos – she didn’t have to strip down outdoors, after all! “Kate Middleton is great, but shouldn’t be sunbathing in the nude, she has only herself to blame,” writes Trump. “Who wouldn’t take Kate’s picture and make lots of money if she does the nude sunbathing thing. Come on Kate!” Somehow we’re guessing the British royal family disagrees. The irate royals are exploring legal options to stop the spread of the Kate Middleton pics , and have already won an injunction against French gossip magazine Closer . However, at least two other tabloids have run the pics – both in other nations not bound by the ruling – and that’s just print media. The Internet is a different beast. What do you think of Trump’s statement? Is he for real? We know he likes to weigh in on whatever’s trending, but does he have a valid point? Comment/vote below … Is Kate Middleton to blame for the scandal?

‘Twilight’ Heads To ‘Family Guy’ And Comic-Con

Kellan Lutz is voicing a ‘Family Guy’ character, ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ is opening Comic-Con and more, in ‘Twilight’ Tuesday. By Kara Warner Kellan Lutz and Kristen Stewart in “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” Photo: There is never a dull moment in the world of “Twilight.” The fact that we dedicated fans still have a few months to wait before the release of “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” does not mean that our favorite subject and the actors associated with it are not making headlines elsewhere. This week’s “Twilight” Tuesday is dedicated to our favorite bits of “Twilight” news percolating around the Internets: “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” To Open Comic-Con As was expected, Summit announced that “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” will once again take San Diego Comic-Con by storm. The film will kick off the festivities in the convention center’s massive Hall H as the very first panel on Thursday, July 12. As many of us remember fondly, Hall H was the site of the franchise’s first-ever Comic-Con appearance back in 2008, when thousands of excited fans made the pilgrimage to San Diego to see the cast assembled together for the first time. No word yet on which castmembers will be making the trip to the Con, but because it’s in support of their last “Twilight” movie, we’re betting on seeing most, if not all, of our favorites. Kellan Lutz Gets Animated Kellan Lutz is lending his voice to Seth MacFarlane and the cast of “Family Guy.” According to Entertainment Weekly, Lutz will appear on an upcoming episode as a love interest for Meg Griffin (voiced by Mila Kunis) as a hunky high school football player Meg fantasizes about. The show’s executive producer Mark Hentemann told EW that although Meg convinces him to go on a date with her, Lutz’s character has ulterior motives — an interest in one of the other Griffins. Lutz reportedly made a great impression on everyone when he recorded his part. “[He] got into the role and walked that line perfectly,” Hentemann said. “He was great. He was very handsome.” Teaser Trailer Postmortem Have you stopped watching that expertly crafted new “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” teaser trailer yet? Last week’s preview not only featured the anticipated first look at several new vampires , but thanks to the enthusiasm and support from the franchise’s millions of fans, the trailer broke the record for the most downloads (7 million!) in 24 hours. ‘Breaking Dawn’ And ‘Dark Knight Rises’: The Trouble With Trailers

Josh Horowitz takes a stand against the teaser-trailer obsession. By Josh Horowitz Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” Photo: This is the actual thing. It’s not the preview of the thing. It’s not the tease of the preview of the thing. It’s not even the glimpse of the tease of the preview of the thing. It’s the actual thing. I know — weird, right? If you’re an insatiable consumer of media like me (and if you’re not, you’re in the wrong place. Go commune with nature, you hippie; I’m juggling an iPad, a laptop and a Blackberry with one hand!), you’re probably getting sick of the parsing out of “exclusives” during the last few months. I write the following acknowledging there’s some hypocrisy here. I (and MTV News) am after all guilty of exactly what I’m claiming to be tired of: the teaser culture. But I’m taking a stand — I hereby go on record saying I am officially sick of 10-second previews of previews. As I write this Tuesday (June 19) morning, a bunch of new trailers and teases and commercials (figuring out the appropriate terminology is a headache in and of itself) just landed on the Interwebs. Perhaps most notable in your world is the latest from “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” that came out Tuesday morning. Yes, Summit has released what it calls a “ten-second sneak peek of the teaser trailer” in anticipation of the actual teaser trailer for said movie, which presumably will give way to a non-teaser (er, regular?) trailer in a few months. Still with me? Now don’t get me wrong: I love seeing early imagery from films I’m anxiously awaiting, but this is not the way to do it. At least not for me. Mind you, this snippet is still worlds better than the time-honored entertainment-show tradition of showing snippets of an exclusive trailer while a breathless correspondent narrates exactly what you’re seeing. “There’s Bella! And there’s Edward!” Yeah, we see that. Thanks, Billy Bush. Also out Tuesday morning are two examples of advertisements for upcoming flicks that definitely get things right, in my estimation. In the — let’s call it “traditional” — category, there’s the brand-new trailer for “The Dark Knight Rises,” which frankly doesn’t show a ton more than we’ve seen already. But it does package the material so artfully, with a keen sense of self-serious awesomeness (“This year a fire will rise” — yes! ), that I doff my broken cowl in its favor. And then there’s my personal obsession, the latest work from Paul Thomas Anderson, “The Master.” The second of what I’m guessing will be a series of shorts (calling these trailers doesn’t do them justice) has been released, and each is slowly but surely introducing the upcoming flick’s key figures. (Joaquin Phoenix is going to steal the film! Wait, no, I take it back — it’s Philip Seymour Hoffman’s movie!) Make no mistake, “The Master” is the “Dark Knight Rises” for the Sight & Sound -subscribing crowd this year. Of course, this assortment of teases/ trailers/ shorts/ whatever doesn’t even get into the most interesting area of film advertising going today — let’s call it the viral short. “Prometheus” may have divided fanboys, but I think we all can agree that “Happy birthday David” was mesmerizing and creepy in all the right ways. So where is the viral video of the Cullens sitting at home watching a “True Blood” marathon? Oh, the possibilities … For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Katy Perry To Premiere ‘Wide Awake’ Video Tonight On MTV!

Clip will make its worldwide debut tonight at 7:53 p.m. ET on MTV, followed by an exclusive interview with Perry on MTV.com. By MTV News Staff Katy Perry in her “Wide Awake” video Photo: We know you just couldn’t wait to hear what Katy Perry had to say about her new video for “Wide Awake,” so the clip and an exclusive interview with the pop star are coming your way a little early. Katy Perry ‘s “Wide Awake” video will get its big TV debut during “MTV First: Katy Perry.” The video will make its worldwide debut on MTV tonight at 7:53 p.m. ET, with an exclusive 30-minute interview with Katy and MTV’s Sway Calloway to follow on MTV.com. She’ll reveal all about the track, which she wrote for her upcoming 3-D concert film “Katy Perry: Part of Me.” “I just wanted to tell a story about myself going through this journey, maybe sometimes trying to get out of the maze,” Perry says in the interview about the dreamy video. “There’s good parts; there’s bad parts. Of course, there has been a lot of things that went on last year that I had to get through and overcome. I think what probably kept me going is just the purity of my belief in music.” While she will have more to say about the song during the full interview, she did share that she had a lot of stuff she wanted to say when she sat down to write it. “I love this song so much,” she said. “It was a song that I hadn’t written for Teenage Dream. I was doing this movie and they asked me if I wanted to write an end-title song for the movie and I was like, ‘I know exactly what I want to say.’ I was really kind of dying to write another song at that point. I didn’t want to wait until I did a whole new record, and it’s kind of the perfect last word of me at this moment.” The new clip — which not only closes the book on her incredible Teenage Dream run, but follows a fairytale story line — will also debut on VH1, Logo and TeenNick, in addition to MTV.com, VH1.com and LOGOtv.com.
