Now, MMA fighter Kimbo Slice, real name Kevin Ferguson, has passed away in a Florida hospital close to his home after briefly being taken in for evaluation under as-yet-unclear circumstances. Rumors of the fighter’s death swirled across social media for hours after Slice was admitted into the hospital with no official confirmation. Sadly the reports turned out to be factual. As TMZ confirms: Kimbo Slice has died … TMZ Sports has confirmed. He was 42. We broke the story, Slice was hospitalized early Monday near his home in Coral Springs, FL. He passed away a short time later. The CEO of Bellator MMA confirmed the news … saying, “We are all shocked and saddened by the devastating untimely loss of Kimbo Slice, a beloved member of the Bellator family.’ “One of the most popular MMA fighters ever, Kimbo was a charismatic, larger-than-life personality that transcended the sport.” “Outside of the cage he was a friendly, gentle giant and a devoted family man. His loss leaves us all with extremely heavy hearts, and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Ferguson family and all of Kimbo’s friends, fans and teammates.” Details surrounding Kimbo’s death are unclear. The actor, who portrayed Jonathan on the family sitcom for eight years, opened the Q&A by coming right out with this troubling piece of information. “I wanted to tell you this a long time ago, but I wasn't ready. I'm ready now,” Pintauro said. “I'm HIV-positive, and I have been for 12 years.” In the above clip, Pintauro (who also came out as gay in 1997) talks about the dangers of crystal meth, drug he was addicted to for many years. Pintauro explained that he underwent testing once every six months… and was then told the devastating news in March of 2003. “I was living in New York at the time and completely clueless to the idea that I was positive. I went in for a regular checkup,” Pintauro says. “It was just regular blood work. You go in, and you sort of waited two weeks on pins and needles — or at least I did, because I was just terrified of the idea of getting HIV.” The actor went on to explain how “crystal meth takes away your inhibitions” and that he thought he was “being safe” during the sexual encounter that changed his life. Today, Pintauro lives with his husband in Las Vegas and works as a restaurant manager. “What I want my community to realize is we need to take better care of ourselves,” he says.

Instead of his favorite restaurant, Walker’s family took him to the New Orleans Saints rookie minicamp where Saints coach Sean Payton offered him a contract with the team. Of course, hundreds of former college stars will sign with NFL teams in the coming months. What makes Walker’s situation unique is that he was paralyzed from the neck down in a devastating injury he suffered during a 2012 game. “When Devon got hurt, his football career was just starting to take off after three years of hard work,” said Payton in a press conference, with Walker by his side. “Despite the devastating injury he suffered, Devon refuses to let that define him. He is an outstanding young man who is an inspiration not only to his coaches and teammates at Tulane, but to all of us.” “For me this is one of my dreams come true,” Walker told the press. “I’ve been a Saint since before I was walking. In the wake of all the drama, stress and heartbreak surrounding daughter Ali Simms’ tragic diagnosis, Leah Messer says the toddler is defying doctors’ predictions. The Teen Mom 2 star’s offspring isn’t just mobile, she’s nearly running these days, despite doctors saying she’d likely require a wheelchair soon, and for life. It’s possible she will indeed be bound to a wheelchair, but for the time being, she’s carrying on and making progress with no need of such assistance at all. In a recent interview, Leah and ex-husband Corey Simms, said they are going to remain positive despite the muscular dystrophy that has hampered her. “Ali is running!” gushed Leah. “She’s doing so much better than expected. The premise of the new film is a little odd, which comes as no surprise to those of us who have followed Laika Studio’s but this even seems weird for them. The Boxtrolls are a group of monsters that live under the streets of a town called Cheesebridge. They have been wrongly accused by the citizen of Cheesebridge of stealing young children and smelly cheese, a logical combination.
