Scott Disick has been romantically linked to Sofia Richie for several months now — since last May, actually, so it's coming up on a year since we first learned that these two could be together. And oh, what a wild year it's been … Last January, after piles and piles of rumors that he'd finally gotten himself together and that he and Kourtney Kardashian were giving love another chance , he went off the deep end. He was partying hard for several months with several different ladies, including Bella Thorne — remember how fun and weird that was? In May, Scott was photographed looking pretty friendly with Sofia, but at the time she denied anything beyond friendship , tweeting “Just so everyone can get their panties out of their asses, Scott and I are just homies.” At some point though, things changed, and it became clear around September that they actually were dating. Scott has gotten a lot of criticism for dating Sofia because of their age difference: she's 19 years old, and he's 34. And in this new sneak peek for the upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kris Jenner herself is questioning that age difference. And it is weird. The clip begins with Kris asking Scott if he's dating, and when he says that he is, she asks if he's dating one specific person. He hesitates a little before saying that he is, and Kris asks him if he's “going steady” with this person. “I guess that's what the kids are calling it,” he confirms, looking and sounding like he's rather be having literally any other conversation. “Is it Sofia?” she asks, mouthing her name since it sounds like the kids are nearby. “I mean, I guess you know who it is,” he answers. It sounds like a pretty tame conversation, but looking at Scott, you'd think talking about Sofia with Kris causes him real, physical pain. Next, she asks how old Sofia is, and if she's Kylie's age — she's not, Kylie's a year older. Then Kris tells Scott that when she began dating Robert Kardashian, she was only 17 years old, and he was 12 years older than her. “You were underage,” he tells her. “She's not.” Why is Scott being so weird about this?! Is it because Kris is Kourtney's mother and he actually still has feelings for Kourtney, even more than he's already admitted? Is it just an awkward conversation, no matter how you look at it? Watch Scott die inside while talking to Kris in the video below:
Gilbert Carrasquillo/FilmMagic Stacey Dash Says She May Run For Congress Oprah won’t do it , and now we have this… After getting canned by Fox News around this time last year and spending the rest of 2017 doing her damndest to piss people off with her extreme-right racist Republican rhetoric on Twitter and her Geocities website…Stacey Dash is looking for something else to do with her time. Now, it looks like she’s entertaining the thought of taking her Clueless routine to public office. Despite having no previous political experience whatsoever, the reluctant star of hood-flick “Honor Up” says she’s seriously toying with the idea of becoming a Congresswoman. A number of people online and off have suggested I run for political office. I wanted to see what my online community thinks of this idea as I mull the possibilities. Thoughts? pic.twitter.com/L71fF0NnXR — Stacey Dash (@REALStaceyDash) February 9, 2018 Honestly, we’d vote for her cousin Dame before we would vote for this chick, if we’re just putting random inexperienced people in office. However, if Donald Trump can be the President…anything is possible out here. Will you make sure you’re at the polls to vote for anyone other than Stacey if she actually goes for it? Just four days ago, Logan Paul returned from hiatus with more followers than he had before his shameful “suicide forest” controversy, in which he filmed and mocked a suicide victim . A million new followers does not amount to a lesson learned. And Logan Paul just filmed himself doing something else awful and disturbing. This time, YouTube has taken action by suspending all advertising from his channel. Towards the end of Logan Paul’s video in which he announced his return to vlogging, he bragged about his increase in followers: “I know for a fact everything I do from this point on will get criticism, it will get backlash, because I’m a very polarizing dude. You either love me, or you hate me.” He forgot to mention that some people are blissfully unaware of his existence. “So internet, please, use me, bro. Crucify me, vilify me, and I can promise you one thing, guys. I’m not going anywhere. I’m going to be here for a minute.” That is: One, not the first time that he’s referred to criticism of his unconscionable behavior and compared it to the literal crucifixion of Jesus . Two, straight out of the monologue of an insufferable anime villain. For reasons that we cannot begin to fathom — because surely, even if he wanted controversy, he should have known to wait a couple of weeks — Logan Paul filmed himself tasering a dead rat. He shows himself finding a couple of dead rats on his porch. (Which is obviously massively suspicious; how many mansions have dead rats show up? We don’t see neighborhood cats leaving them as gifts ) He then repeatedly tasered one of the dead bodies. It’s always reassuring to see a privileged man taking out his violent impulses on dead animals. That’s one of the signs of a healthy mind, right? So, obviously, it’s in poor taste and is massively inappropriate. The fact that this is right on the heels of his video in Japan’s infamous “Suicide Forest” makes things even worse. After that first dreadful video in Japan, which was culturally insensitive and also just, like, objectively insensitive, Logan Paul faced consequences from YouTube. They reduced his cut of advertising revenues. Now, however, YouTube has taken things a step further by cutting off all of Logan Paul’s advertising. Being an obnoxious little s–t on camera while also being super handsome is how Logan Paul made his millions. Alot of that is merchandising, but he made seven figures in 2017 from advertising revenue alone. YouTube released a statement explaining why they had taken the drastic step of this suspension: “This is not a decision we made lightly.” Of course not. Logan Paul is a huge source of revenue for the streaming platform. Suspending his ads hurts them, too. Imagine if NBC stopped airing ads on This Is Us ? (But also imagine if Kevin Hartley were an insufferable little fame monster instead of the talented, handsome actor that he is) “We believe he has exhibited a pattern of behavior in his videos that makes his channel not only unsuitable for advertisers, but also potentially damaging to the broader creator community.” YouTube is right to be concerned about a ripple effect. If YouTube stars get a bad reputation (well, a worse reputation), parents might start limiting access to YouTube rather than taking a close look at who is just giving a makeup tutorial versus who is ruining lives for fun and money. Logan Paul was YouTube’s darling son, and now he’s hurting the brand so much that even his massive number of subscribers aren’t worth it. This suspension is temporary, however, and it looks like YouTube is hoping that he will mellow out. Unfortunately, when you reward a terrible young man’s behavior with fabulous wealth, it doesn’t exactly discourage him from being obnoxious. Is Logan Paul even capable of learning his lesson now? He’s not a child, folks. Or will he return after this suspension ends with some new terrible stunt to feed his martyrdom complex?
Reg E. Cathey, a veteran actor likely best known to television fans for roles in House of Cards and The Wire, died this week from lung cancer. He was 59 years old. According to TMZ sources, Cathey was surrounded by friends, family members and loved ones at the time of his passing, which took place at his home in New York. In response to this sad news, House of Cards creator Beau Willimon said the following on Friday evening: Reg Cathey was one of a kind. Source: Drew Angerer / Getty Omarosa Manigault-Newman is suddenly in a pool of regret over her relationship with the Trump administration. The former Apprentice star, who was fired from her White House aide position, is dishing on her time with 45 on Celebrity Big Brother. According to her, it was all doom and gloom. “I was haunted by tweets every single day,” she said referring to Trumps reckless Twitter fingers. “Like what is he going to tweet next?” When describing the state of the country, Omarosa went on to say “it’s bad” and “it’s not going to be okay.” She also tearfully explained how everyone attacked her when she tried to confront Trump about certain actions. Finally, when asked if she would vote for Trump again she said , “Never. In a million years, never.” Remember this was the same woman who said “Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump” not too long ago. But, okay. You can watch the Celebrity Big Brother clip for yourself below.
