As previously reported people were appalled to hear Future say in a Beats 1 interview that Russell’s “controlled by Ciara” in their happy and harmonious marriage. “He do exactly what she tell him to do!” said Future. “I feel like he not being a man in that position. He not tellin’ her, ‘Chill out with that on the internet. Don’t even talk to him. I’m your husband! You better not even bring Future’s name up!’ If that was me, she couldn’t even bring his name up,” he added. And while fans went codeine crazy on Future for his words, Russell Wilson instead took the high road and sent a classy message Future’s way. “All that matters. #Love,” Russell captioned a photo of his daughter Sienna and his stepson little Future rubbing noses. I mean, how much more adorable can you get??? Smooth dropped “They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)” 20 years ago, the celebrated rap duo was still reeling over the unexpected death of their dear friend Troy “Trouble T” Dixon of Heavy D & the Boyz. What began as the most personal of lyrical eulogies soon became an iconic hip-hop track, so when Lupe Fiasco reworked the “T.R.O.Y.” instrumental for his new single “Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free)” on Monday, things were all good until Pete Rock chimed in. “No disrespect to lupe fiasco and i like him alot but TROY should be left alone. Feel so violated,the beat is next to my heart and was made Outta anguish and pain. When it’s like that it should not be touched by no one,” Rock tweeted on Monday after hearing the track. While Lu’s new single clearly is a nod to “T.R.O.Y,” the original track isn’t exactly an original composition, as it samples from jazz musician Tom Scott’s 1967 song “Today.” It’s possible that “Around My Way,” which was produced by Simonsayz and B-Sidet, sampled a portion of their track from Scott’s version. This isn’t the first time that Lupe has paid homage to Pete Rock either, he once freestyled over the “Reminisce” beat for his “Dopeboys” freestyle with Wale and Kardinal Offishall. Lyrically, Lu continues to push rap’s topical boundaries on “Around My Way,” choosing to rhyme about social-political ills in Ghana and corruption in the oil industry. Rock stressed that he did not have a personal problem with the Chicago rapper, he just didn’t appreciate the remake. “I’m not flattered @ all. Dat sh– is wack, and the producer should be ashamed of his f–kin self. Smh,” he wrote . On Tuesday, Lupe began tweeting links to other “T.R.O.Y.” remakes, including Mann’s J.R. Rotem-produced “Reminisce” and a remixed version of the song which featured Journalist, Mr. Cheeks and Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth themselves. Finally Lupe took the high road and tweeted a YouTube link to the original Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth video with the hash tag “#20YearsLaterStillTheBest.” Catch Lupe Fiasco on this week’s “RapFix Live,” Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com. Do you side with Pete Rock? The legendary female emcee was teaching at Millersville University when the Young Money princess was brought up in the lecture. In May, Carey dropped out of Tyler Perry’s forthcoming movie “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf”; that sparked chatter about her being pregnant, and she has maintained a relatively low profile since then. But over the weekend, Carey was seen in a body-obscuring black princess gown at the Barretos International Rodeo in Barretos, Brazil. The photos re-ignited the rumors that the singer is indeed expecting a bundle of joy. Cannon discussed the speculation during his radio show on New York’s 92.3 FM on Monday (August 23), and he once again took the high road. “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it time and time again — when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her,” People.com reports he said. He continued: “We all know it’s extremely personal, and it is for a woman to deal with things with her body, and especially when dealing with the idea of childbirth and all that stuff.” Cannon did say that if the couple, who married in 2008 , did ever have an announcement of that kind to make to the world they would “strategically plan it out properly” to avoid hype. “That’s something you want to keep near and dear and as close to you as you possibly can, until you’re 100 percent sure, in any situation,” he continued. “There’s a certain time limit you’re supposed to wait before you can actually officially say that you are and all that stuff. Brooke Mueller is "Doing Well," Insider Says

While rumors continue to swirl regarding the reasons why Brooke Mueller is in a rehab facility in Malibu (some sources cite an addiction to crack), the important thing is this, a friend says: “Brooke is doing very well.” After spending time in a hospital that dealt specifically with dangerous infections, Mueller checked into the Canyon treatment center earlier this month. “She’s been committed to getting herself in shape by getting healthy again and going to a rehab to continue her regimen with her sobriety,” the source told E! News. While she works on her marriage to Charlie Sheen, Brooke’s true motivation for recovery is her children, 11-month-old sons, Max and Bob. Said the insider: “She sees her children almost every day, and she’s an extraordinary mom to them… She’s really determined to get her life back on track and concentrate on being a great mom.” Sheen is due back in a Colorado court on March 15 to face a felony charge of menacing . Mueller will be close to finished with her 30-day stay at that point, but it’s unknown if she’ll be by his side.

He supposedly cheated to get her, and now Ryan Phillippe may have cheated and lost her. After a three-year relationship that started when the actor cheated on wife Reese Witherspoon with Abbie Cornish, the latter has finally come to her senses and dumped Phillippe. “Abbie ended the relationship with Ryan and she moved out of their home,” her rep told People . The break-up takes place after months of celebrity gossip rumors made Phillippe sound like the Tiger Woods of acting, minus the talent. He’s been spotted with other women at nightclubs around the globe. Asked about the cause of the split, Cornish’s rep took the high road and said: “No comment.” Cornish has been in Vancouver for the last seven months shooting a movie whose title could well sum up the demise of her relationship: Sucker Punch .
