The 29-year-old artist took to Instagram this morning to share a photo of herself practicing hip exercises following surgery in 2013 to repair an injury she sustained on stage. But most eyes have been focused on a body part aside from Lady Gaga’s hips… look at that concave stomach! “Up early for hip exercise! I have to do these everyday to keep my hip strong, otherwise I have pain,” the singer wrote, perhaps anticipating some backlash and adding: “(fyi I’m not really that thin it’s just the strech! Trust me!).” Lady Gaga’s weight has often come under scrutiny, though she’s come under fire in the past for gaining weight. Earlier this month, in fact, chatter abounded about Lady Gaga being pregnant , to which the artist replied: “I’m getting a little older and many people think I’m pregnant but I tell them, ‘I’m just almost f–king 30.'” Gaga added at the time that she has gained a “little more here and there,” specifically citing her thighs. But she can’t be that insecure about her body, considering she’s been posting bikini pictures during her recent trip to the Bahamas. With the cast of Duck Dynasty under scrutiny for Phil Robertson’s scandalous remarks toward gays last month, the One Direction singer addressed Phil’s son, Willie, and wrote: “Huge love to you/your family huge respect for your business prosperities and the family values you still all behold. big fan.” It didn’t take long for a war to then break out online between gay rights advocates and fans of Payne, who rushed to the artist’s defense. Two hours after posting the controversial Tweet, Payne himself sent another message: “Being a fan of someones show and the way they still hold a family together doesnt mean i am ok with all they say…. just watched a show and I liked it as most people do.” That’s fine, of course. TLC’s Sister Wives has been picked up for a second season. Whether prosecutors in Utah throw a wrench into it with bigamy charges remains to be seen. Kody Brown and his four wives have come under scrutiny from law enforcement and members of their own community for broadcasting their lives on TV. The Browns have been under investigation for two months – and counting. “We’re in no rush to get this filed,” says Donna Kelly, a deputy county attorney for Utah County. “You can expect a decision in the next 60 to 90 days.” Although polygamy is illegal, officials rarely get involved due to the sheer number of cases in Utah unless there’s child abuse, incest, abuse or fraud. “We don’t go looking for cases like this,” says Kelly. “But the Browns have definitely made it easier for us by admitting to felonies on national TV.” Kody recently wed Robyn Sullivan on Sister Wives , upping the wife tally to four. When fans start streaming into movie theaters for the opening of New Moon later this month, they’ll undoubtedly bring high expectations with them. Director Chris Weitz says audiences may also want to carry a box of tissues. “We’ve tried our best to deliver on the romantic scenes in the film, and I would like to be able to produce more tears than any movie before, if possible,” Weitz told People this week.
