Spring Valley Officer Caught On Camera Dragging Peaceful Student Across A Classroom Will Not Face Charges

Remember this incident ? Spring Valley School Officer Cleared Of Charges Last year a South Carolina school officer’s actions sparked a national debate after a video of him brutalizing a student over a verbal dispute went viral. Many believe ex-cop Ben Fields took it too far by dragging the peaceful young lady across a class room. His actions caused the unidentified student several injuries, including neck injuries and broken bones. Ben Field’s was fired after the incident. According to the Daily News , termination is the height of his punishment. Field’s supervisor Sheriff Leon Lott said Field’s actions were so despicable, he wanted “to throw up”. This however, had no effect to bring charges.  Richland County Solicitor Dan Johnson said in a 12-page court report Friday that he found no probable cause to charge the school resource officer because the incident “looked worse on camera”. Johnson’s report includes statements from a slew of witnesses — one of whom said “the incident looked worse in the video than it did in the classroom.” The report also included a formal account from Fields himself and he appears to have no regrets about his outrageous actions. “I realized that I was going to have to physically remove the student from her seat to effectuate her arrest,” he said, adding that the desk only flipped over because the student locked her legs inside it. Mom Says Her Son Isn’t Racist For Threatening To Kill Middle Eastern People A racist tweet sent out last week from a teenager in Bakersfield, California is getting major national attention. Via Raw Story : The tweet, since taken down along with the Twitter account, was the handiwork of a recent high school graduate whose mother stated that neither her son nor her family are racists. Posted on the eve of the anniversary of the attacks on the U.S. dating back to 2001, the tweet read: ““Gonna go kill some towel heads tomorrow in honor of 9/11, who’s with me?” Informed of the threat, Sgt. Joe Grubbs, a spokesperson for the Bakersfield Police Department, said that, while they investigate all threats, what the teen did is not illegal since he didn’t make a specific threat against a person. “Nothing about that is illegal. He’s well within his first amendment rights to say something like that,” Grubbs said, adding, “From this tweet, I don’t think there’s really anything to be scared about.” The mother of the unidentified teen initially told reporters that her son would not apologize, later issuing a statement that he was sorry, but that he would not be talking to reporters. In a statement she wrote: “I would like to state that I never said my child wouldn’t apologize. I just stated that he would not be interviewed, as he is a minor. He knows he made a huge mistake, and he is very sorry. He has been taught right from wrong and would never do something like that. My child is not racist. We are not racists. The story has been twisted. As a mother, I am protecting my child. That is my job.” Really?!?

Lindsey Vonn Dumped Tiger Woods Because He Cheated?!

Last week, we learned that Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods have broken up after three years of dating.  Vonn broke the news via a statement on her Facebook page in which she gave the impression that the split was a mutual decision and a result of her and Woods’ hectic schedules: “After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship,” the 30-year-old skier wrote. “I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together. “Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart.” When Woods revealed that he hadn’t slept for several days following the breakup, many began to suspect that it was Vonn’s decision to end the relationship, and now it seems we may have the evidence to back that claim up: An insider tells the Daily Mail that Tiger had a one-night stand with “with a nameless, faceless” woman back in February and admitted it to Vonn during a therapy session earlier this month. “She didn’t walk out of the session, but she walked out on him,” says the unidentified source who is allegedly a friend of Vonn’s. “Tiger cheated again. But it wasn’t with anyone special. He really wanted Lindsey to be the one. But he blew it again. He can’t help himself. He’s got an addiction. He relapsed.” Referring to Tiger’s marriage to Elin Nordegren which ended after Nordegren found out about Woods’ hundreds of dalliances with other women, the insider said: “Lindsey is not like Elin, the long-suffering wife who will turn a blind eye. She knew that one relapse could lead to two and three and then he’s off to the races.” Both Woods and Vonn have yet to speak publicly about the cheating allegations. Teen Let Go After Beating Cops In Rock-Paper Scissors A group of cops are under investigation after they were caught on video letting an underage drinker get off because she beat them in rock-paper scissors. Must…be…nice. RawStory reports: Three Texas police officers face possible disciplinary action after agreeing to let an underage drinker out of a citation after she beat them in a game of rock-paper-scissors. A cell phone video of the incident, which was recorded over the weekend at the Chilifest country music festival near Texas A&M, shows the unidentified college student react in shock and relief after her “rock” beats an officer’s “scissors.” All three officers then walk away as the unidentified white woman celebrates with friends. “I have seen the video and can only say that this is unacceptable and unprofessional conduct by these officers,” said Dennis Gaas, constable for Burleson County Precinct 2 – which hired the officers to work security at the music festival in Snook. Gaas said the county doesn’t have enough officers to cover Chilifest, so he must hire up to 100 officers from other departments to provide crowd and traffic control for the event. Officers issued 113 citations over the weekend and arrested 44 people, Gaas said. He said officers are given discretion whether or not to issue citations, but he disapproved of the way these officers decided the outcome of the case. “(Playing) games to get someone out of a ticket, I have a problem with that,” Gaas said. He said the three officers, whose names were not released, have been told they are not allowed to work Chilifest again. “It gives all of us a bad name,” Gaas said. The incident stands in contrast to another encounter between police and a college student captured on viral video. A black junior college student said two Philadelphia police officers tried to arrest him after they challenged him to a pickup basketball game and he beat them. Video showed Samir Hill, a point guard at Allegany College of Maryland, drive quickly past one officer and cause another to fall down, and he said the pair came back two days later and detained him for nearly two hours before letting him go without charge. Guilty Ohio State Fan Goes Viral: Was She Caught Cheating?

Yesterday’s college bowl games offered a variety of bizarre highlights, including Florida State star quarterback Jameis Winston being mocked with a “no means no” chant after his team’s humiliating defeat at the hands of Oregon. The moment that’s really captured the web’s attention, however, is this odd crowd shot that shows a female Ohio State fan seemingly getting busted with her side piece at the Sugar Bowl: Ohio State Fan: Caught Cheating? What’s the deal? Was she caught cheating on national TV? Did she suddenly realize she doesn’t actually know the dude that she’s fondling? Is this just another case of the Internet blowing something way our of proportion? Theories abound, but while obsessive Redditors have been picking this thing apart in search of answers, the unidentified woman’s (alleged) cousin has come forward. In clearing things up, however, she unintentionally made the situation even funnier. A Facebook user who claims to know the truth uploaded a link to the clip, along with a status update reading: “My cousin with her boyfriend made their TV day-view as well as on the vine!” NOTE: We’re assuming by “day-view” she meant “debut.” Look upon the state of your education system and weep, America. But the anonymous, semi-literate Facebooker was right to be excited just the same. The original Vine upload of the mysterious Buckeye fan has already been viewed an astonishing 9 million times, making it the most popular college football-related viral video of 2015! Will the Cheating Ohio State Girl go on to become the new Grumpy Cat ? Probably not, but hopefully she’s enjoying her 15 minutes of fame and not awkwardly explaining things to her boyfriend today. Taylor Swift vs. Katy Perry: "Bad Blood" Diss Track Starts War Between Singers?!

Yesterday, Rolling Stone released excerpts from an interview in which  Taylor Swift admitted her song “Bad Blood” was written about a musical rival. The Internet instantly set about speculating as to who Taylor could’ve been so upset with (aside from her many ex-boyfriends) that she devoted an entire track of her forthcoming album to talking trash. Taylor’s quotes were picked apart for clues, and her history was examined by fans hoping to piece together the identity of her professional rival. Turns out the answer may have been under our noses and on our Twitter feeds all the while: Just hours after Taylor’s quote went public, Katy Perry tweeted, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing,” a reference to the villainous manipulator from the 2004 film Mean Girls . We’d say it might just be a coincidence, but there’s far more evidence that Katy is the latest celeb to be the subject of one of Taylor’s famous musical burns: In the interview, Taylor says the unidentified rival tried to “sabotage an entire arena tour” by essentially stealing Swift’s staff. Last year – right about the time Taylor says the incident took place – three of Swift’s backup dancers reportedly left to join Perry’s world tour. Taylor fired back by having Sara Bareilles join her on stage to sing “Brave.” It was a loaded cameo, as Katy has been accused of plagiarizing “Brave” with her song “Roar.” Then, of course, there’s the fact that both Taylor and Katy dated John Mayer . Taylor swears her feud has nothing to do with guys, but c’mon…with Taylor isn’t a guy always involved somehow? Hopefully, Katy will respond with a diss track of her own and we’ll have an old-fashioned beef on our hands. If you’ve been on Facebook this week, you’ve likely seen pictures of people drenching themselves in ice water, accompanied by the hashtag #icebucketchallenge. It’s all part of a campaign to raise awareness and money for ALS and ALS research, as well as a fun time for those who enjoy watching silly videos. To that end, here’s The Bachelorette winner Josh Murray doing just as the #icebucketchallenge would imply, and nominating fiancee Andi Dorman: Josh Murray ALS Ice Bucket Challenge The idea behind the challenge is this that one receives challenge from someone else and then have 24 hours to accept, as Josh Murray has done here. In doing so, the participant shouts out the cause he is supporting and challenging friends to continue the message, and/or donating money to charity. if you choose not to accept, which would just be lame, because it’s harmless and fun, you have to donate $100 to an ALS association of your choice. Code Adorable! I repeat, we have a Code Adorable! Hide the Wii and the juice boxes! The Secret Service dealt with the world’s cutest threat last night when a toddler squeezed through the White House security gates and on to the North Lawn, triggering an automatic lockdown. As a result of this breach, President Obama’s residence went into high alert and Pennsylvania Avenue was closed (per protocol) until the pint-size interloper was apprehended. Edwin Donovan, a spokesman for the U.S. Secret Service, told the media that the unidentified child would not face any serious charges. “We were going to wait until he learned to talk to question him, but in lieu of that he got a timeout and was sent on way with parents,” Donovan said. HA! We love it. Strange But True News Hall of Fame 1. Drunk Man Tries to Urinate Out of Cop Car Window Devin Langford, a drunk man in custody, tried to urinate out of the rear passenger side window of a moving police car because he was drunk. It did not go as planned.

Woman Announces She’s Divorcing Cheating Husband on Bar Sign

Hell hath no fury, you guys, and a woman in Uplands, a suburb in Wales, is living proof. When the unidentified woman found out her husband was cheating, she decided to “name and shame” him in on the sign above his favorite bar. She feels better, but Paul, her cheating husband, is “furious.” Noah Redfern, the bar’s owner, says the woman walked into the bar and asked him to do the honors of breaking the news to her husband. He was happy to oblige. “Maybe this will become the way of asking for a divorce,” Redfern said. The scorned wife says that she’s feeling “a bit better” now that the sign is up and the news is out.
