Well, we’re a little worn out from watching Nymphomaniac Vol. 1 all weekend, but the breast of Blu-ray/DVD this week would be sorely missed, if you know what we mean. The original series Rogue premiered to a limited audience on DirecTV, but now it’s out on DVD so everyone can enjoy all the uncovered moments from the undercover detective drama. Star Thandie Newton shows T&A throughout, plus we get full frontal from Kira Clavel l and pressed mams from Leah Gibson ! Elsewhere, the classic crime drama Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia (1974) is now available on Blu-ray, bringing along the retro rackage of Isela Vega . The Belgian drama The Broken Circle Breakdown (2012) is a doomed love story with the uplifting bare B’s of Veerle Baetens . Not long after demanding a million dollars (from whom, it’s not clear) for illegal use of her brain, she shared this uplifting, intriguing piece of news. “I’m In Love With Someone Else Who I Do Not Follow on Twitter Who Is The Most Gorgeous Man I Know,” she tweeted . “But Drake Comes In Second.” Drake, if he were reading this, would probably be a bit confused. After all, just prior to tweeting about the rapper coming in second place, she mused “Drake Is The Most Gorgeous Man On The Face Of The Earth.” Eh, if you’re not on the Amanda Bynes ugly list , just call it a win. Then there’s another Drake – Bell – who Tweeted his former co-star after her declaration of love, implying (jokingly) that HE is The One for Ms. Bynes: Well played there, alternate Drake. Ironically, it’s that same multicolored frozen treat, globbed at the screen in slow-motion over the end credits of Glee: The 3D Concert Movie , that underscores a similar, sad burst of recognition that’s perhaps been long coming: For all the uplifting, inclusive good that Glee inspires in its young target demographic, it’s a property that’s become high on its own self-projected, self-congratulatory fantasy of “fuck the haters” do-goodingness. And there’s nothing more that Glee needs or deserves right now than a slushie to the face.
