It’s sad, and maybe a little bit surprising, but it’s true: Shannon Beador and David Beador have ended their marriage. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member and her husband of 17 years split last month, People Magazine has confirmed, with Shannon herself announcing the news on Friday afternoon. “It’s heartbreaking for me and my daughters that this is the road that had to be taken but it’s the only way,” Shannon said, taking a swipe at David by adding: “I felt alone in my marriage. You can do what you can to keep your family together, but you have to have willing parties. “You need two people to make a marriage work, and that just wasn’t happening in our relationship.” The couple share three kids together: Sophie, 15, and twins Stella and Adeline, 12. In a statement to Bravo, Shannon said the following of her separation: “After much thought and careful consideration, David and I have made the difficult decision to separate. “We remain partners in parenthood and are committed to raising our three daughters. “This is not the future we envisioned, and we kindly ask for privacy, especially for our children, during this transitional time.” Anyone who has followed The Real Housewives of Orange Country for Beador’s four-year duration can’t be all that shocked by this development. On season 10, the series regular revealed that David was unfaithful to her via an affair she learned about just days before filming got underway. The two then spent time repairing their marriage through therapy and open dialogue with their family, all of which was captured on camera. Unfortunately, not even an eventual vow renewal at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe in California could save this marriage. Over the past few months, meanwhile, David and Shannon grew rather distance. The former often seemed to choose the gym over spending time with his family. The stars also dealt with an ugly accusation by Vicki Gunvalson last season that David “beat the s—” out of Shannon,” an allegation that never proved to be true… yet which caused Shannon to stress eat and gain around 40 pounds. “This is not the path that I thought that I would be taking,” Beador also told People. “To come from the highest of the highs last year to go to such a low so quickly? At the beginning when it starts to crumble, you think, ‘This is just a phase. It’ll get better.’ But it never did.” Finally, this is the main point Beador wanted to emphasize with People: “We are doing our best to be amicable for our children. Wedding bells have rung for Colton Haynes and Jeff Leatham. The beloved Arrow and Teen Wolf star exchanged vows on Friday evening with the Four Seasons artistic director Jeff Leatham in an event seemingly attended by everyone in Hollywood. The ceremony was officiated by Kris Jenner and approximately 120 people watched the 29-year old and 46-year old become Husband and Husband. “It’s just amazing when you find someone who kind of teaches you to love yourself more,” Haynes told People Magazine of Leatham, adding: “The really great thing about being with Jeff is that since we got together my relationships with my friends have gotten better, my family relationships have gotten better. When you learn to really love someone, it’s completely life-changing. Now we have this beautiful life together and this epic journey ahead.” Haynes came out as gay in May of last year. He and Leatham announced their engagement in March in Cabo San Lucas. According to the aforementioned publication, famous guests included: Sofia Vergara and husband Joe Manganiello Melanie Griffith Jesse Tyler Ferguson Lisa Rinna Chelsea Clinton Dylan O’Brien Emily Rickards Billie Lourd Cheyenne Jackson There was also a black-and-white dress code, along with a cocktail hour and crazy fun dance party afterward. Leatham designed most of the wedding and reception himself. He also wrote the following sweet message on Instagram two days ago: “I have the honor and great pleasure of Marrying this Amazing Human Being tomorrow – I love him to the moon and back and I am Blessed to soon call him my #Husband/ “One more sleep baby.” Speaking to People about the affair and his inspiration behind it, Leatham said the following: “If you can imagine Cher meets a Guns ‘N Roses video and that’s the theme of the wedding, “But more than the flowers and decorations, it’s really about everyone coming together and everyone you love being with in the same room. “That was the most important thing for us.” Haynes confirmed his relationship with Leatham on Valentine’s Day, about a month before the proposal. “I SAID YES!!! Thank you @cher for the beautiful ‘I got you babe’ proposal lead in, you sounded incredible as always. The most special night of my life.” the actor captioned a picture of the couple after they agreed to marry. Later on, Haynes actually proposed to Leatham and presented him with his own engagement ring. Wrote Leatham at the time: “I SAID YES !!! Not a bad day when you find YOUR engagement ring in a glass of vintage #domperignon and of course with Cher’s ‘I Got You Babe’ playing in the background. “I Love YOU @coltonlhaynes — Now we are both engaged baby !!!
