Source: Scott Olson / Getty Spokesperson Claims Some Info Leaked To The Press Was “Not Factually Accurate” The always questionable Chicago Police Department is in the hot seat now that they’ve launched an internal investigation surrounding leaks in the Jussie Smollett case. Anthony Guglielmi , a spokesman for the CPD, confirmed with ABC News that the probe was launched last month “during the interrogation of the brothers when information leaked out,” referring to the two Osundairo brothers who investigators claim staged Smollet’s hate crime attack in January. Investigators are trying to determine who anonymously leaked important info about the case to the press. “I will also add that there were several agencies briefed with information during that time and some of the information that went out was not factually accurate,” Guglielmi told ABC News on Thursday. “These types of investigations are fairly common so that we can determine if we have any integrity issues for future cases.” In February, the CPD accused Jussie of staging his attack because he was “dissatisfied with his salary.” He now faces one count of felony disorderly conduct for filing a false police report which could carry a three years in prison sentence plus fines.

Days later Solange released the visual for ‘Almeda’ putting the black people and black pride of Houston on display through the visual. Although many times Solange has symbolism that we don’t understand ‘Almeda’ has a few obvious parallels to her life. The title alone is an area of town where Solange spent a lot of time and the Almeda Mall was a landmark she has referenced on social media. In the visual, you will notice a lot of the women wearing hairstyles that were popular in the 90’s. We assume this is a nod to her mother that ran a popular hair salon in the area for many years. The fashion in the visual also has touches of southern style with cowboy boots, hats and bolo ties. From throwback 90’s hairstyles, throwback cell phones to black cowboys, ‘Almeda’ embodies how Houston impacted Solange’s creativity as a black woman. ‘Almeda’ features Playboi Cardi and The Dream on the track produced by Pharrell and John Carroll Kirby. As you’re probably aware Jana Duggar is still single. The general assumption is that Jana is too picky, or that she’s simply struggled to find Mr. Right. But what if there’s more to the situation than meets the eye? What if there are reasons for Jana to stay on the compound that go beyond her feelings of obligation toward her younger siblings (whom she currently homeschools)? No, we’re not talking about the possibility that Jana is in love with Laura Demasie. We’re talking about the popular theory that Jana was chosen to remain at home and help around the compound. It’s been a popular topic of conversation in Duggar message boards for quite some time. The most common hypothesis is that Jana demonstrated a talent for child rearing. Thus, her parents decided it was more important for her to assist in raising her younger siblings than to have children of her own. But what if there’s another explanation? What if Jim Bob and Michelle selected Jana simply because she’s their favorite, and they wanted to keep her around? You see, in addition to her skills with young people, Jana has many other talents and a gift for taking charge of large projects. This week, for example, Jana spearheaded an initiative to completely redecorate Jim Bob and Michelle’s bedroom while the couple was out of town. While it’s true that her siblings participated in the project as well, the whole thing was reportedly Jana’s brainchild. “We surprised my parents while they were away and remodeled their room for them,” Jana captioned an Instagram post about the project. “This is the reveal and them seeing it for the first time!” Jana went on to sing her parents’ praises, writing: “Sometimes you have to find ways to give back to those that have given so much to you! “We love and appreciate you so much Mom & Dad! ” “Oh wow! I can’t believe it,” Jim Bob exclaimed in a video posted by Jana. “I can’t believe it, mama. This is like paradise!” “That is stunning!” said Michelle. “This is too beautiful to be true.” Jana added that she installed a bench because her parents counsel others so often. (So now they’re gonna counsel people in their bedroom? Weird.) Now, it’s possible that one of Jana’s siblings would have taken charge of such a project if she hadn’t. But Jana has a long history of going the extra mile in unexpected ways. She’s been described as an “indispensable” presence around the Duggar home. And it’s possible that her parents decided they simply can’t live without her.
Is fighting over crab legs a new trend that we somehow missed? For the second time this year, videos and stories of folks scrapping over seafood have gone viral. A new video is making its rounds on the Internet of a brawl that went down inside a Queens Buffet last month with at least ten people punching and fighting a couple allegedly over crab legs. In the 10-minute clip posted by customer Donna Brown , you can hear her saying, “They throwing glass around. This is getting real now. My people are so ignorant over food. Over food. Crab legs, yo. You can’t make this up. You can’t make this up at all. You can’t make this up. I can’t believe it.” According to police : A 30-year-old man and a female companion, 22, were sitting and eating when a group of up to 10 people started punching and kicking them in the face and body, causing swelling and pain. Just last week, police arrested John Chapman and Chequita Jenkins who allegedly used tongs to fight each other at an Alabama buffett over crab legs. Well, it finally happened. Colton Underwood finally jumped the fence on The Bachelor , and the moment was — well, it wasn’t everything we dreamed, but it was definitely a grown-ass man jumping a fence and disappearing into the wilds of Portugal. All season, fans wondered what might have driven the usually even-tempered Colton to such a dramatic gesture. After all, with the elimination of Demi and Katherine, most of the ostensible psychopaths had been weeded out. (Demi, we luh you, girl, and we can’t wait to see you wreak havoc in paradise.) That’s our way of saying we expect Demi to be cast on The Bachelor In Paradise , not that we plan to encounter her in the Great Beyond. Anyway, we now know that Colton jumped the fence after getting dumped by Cassie Randolph, the woman who had, to that point, been the frontrunner in the race to win Underwood’s heart. But it was Colton who did the running when Cassie took herself out of the competition after she had made it all the way to the final three. It’s an unusual move, but Cassie was grappling with the new information that her father had not granted Colton permission to propose when the two men spoke during hometowns. It seems that since she was already uncertain if she was ready for marriage, word of her dad’s ambivalence was enough to push Randolph away from Colton. To us, it made perfect sense, and it was certainly more honest than if Cassie had remained in the competition despite her misgivings. But it seems one veteran of the franchise was not a fan of Cassie’s unexpected audible. Ben Higgins spoke out on the matter on this week Lauren Zima’s Roses and Rose web series. “I think she should have done something different with Colton,” Ben said. Higgins revealed that he took issue with the way Cassie “dragged out” the breakup and deflected blame to her father, instead of being straightforward with Colton. “It was very clear that she was not into him,” Ben said. “I think all she wanted to tell him was, ‘You’re a great guy, you’ve proven to be a great guy, but I’m just not that into you. And as a result, I need to leave,'” he shared. “It felt like she was dancing around the subject, going, ‘This is too fast. This isn’t right for me. I just don’t know.’ She knew.” Higgins went on to admit that it’s unfair for anyone to assess the situation at this point, as we have yet to see how it will all play out. “I think it’s hard for him right now… A lot of the end of the season, where he’s jumping the fence, we don’t know how that ends, and that is the most emotional moment we’ve seen yet. None of this story… makes sense without the last two episodes,” he offered. “Right now, we’re sitting in a moment where most of the storyline of this show hasn’t been played out.” Ben then shared his opinion on what should come next for the current cast, as well as his thoughts about ladies looking to use The Bachelor as a springboard for fame. “If I’m honest, I’m a little tainted, just because this whole season, Caelynn and Cassie were rumored to want to be the Bachelorette,” Higgins said. “And I think, as a result, this has influenced my decision. I don’t want anybody coming on this show with the intention of what’s next,” “Caelynn would do great, I’m sure, but my vote would go to Hannah B.,” he added. “If all the women who know her best think she’s going to be a great Bachelorette, then I’ll trust it and I’ll put my vote in for her too.” We have no way of knowing if Ben’s assumptions about fame-chasers are correct, but the show does have a growing problem with contestants who are there for The Bachelor , not the bachelor — which could mean trouble for Colton. Jason Priestley is the latest former cast member of Beverly Hills, 90210 to pen a tribute to the late and very great Luke Perry. And this one is especially heart-wrenching. Perry, tragically, died on March 4, five days after suffering a massive stroke from which he never regained consciousness. He was surrounded by family members and loved ones at the time of his passing. Priestley portrayed Brandon Walsh opposite Perry on the aforementioned Fox drama, starring alongside the later actor as his best friend on screen and remaining close with Perry for years after the show ended. In the wake of this tragedy, Priestley has now shared the above photos of himself and Perry… … along with the moving message down below. It reads as follows: It’s taken me a couple of days to figure out how to write this… My dear friend of 29 years, Luke Perry, was one of those truly special people who really cared… Luke was not only a star, he was an incredibly bright light that was extinguished far too soon… and that is why I, and so many others, are in so much pain today… If you had the good fortune to know Luke, or to have ever crossed his path, I know you are sad today as well… the candle that burns twice as bright only burns for half as long… you burned oh, so brightly Luke… Goodnight Sweet Prince. Other 90210 cast members also honored Perry in the days after his death. Ian Ziering, for example, Tweeted: “Dearest Luke, I will forever bask in the loving memories we’ve shared over the last thirty years. May your journey forward be enriched by the magnificent souls who have passed before you, just like you have done here, for those you leave behind.” And Jennie Garth said: “My heart is broken. He meant so much to so many. Such a very special person. I share my deep sadness with his family and all who loved him. Such a terrible loss.” And Tori Spelling: “I’m in utter shock and heartbroken… I’m saddened for his kids whom he adored beyond words. He was so proud of Jack and Sophie.” And Shannen Doherty : “I am in shock. Heartbroken. Devastated by the loss of my friend. I have so many memories with Luke that make me smile and that are forever imprinted on my heart and mind… “Luke loved his family. He raved about his kids and how proud he was of them. He showed me videos of the often. They were his heart and for him, his biggest accomplishment.” On Wednesday, meanwhile, Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa announced on Twitter that the show would dedicate the rest of season 3 to Perry, who played dad Fred Andrews on the CW series. He appeared briefly in last night’s episode before the hour ended with an “In Memoriam” dedication to him. For those that missed it, this is what Perry’s rep said upon announcing the star’s shocking death: He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends. The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. “No further details will be released at this time.” In lieu of flowers, the Perry family asks that donations be made to Fight Colorectal Cancer and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Kelly are finally speaking out. “When I first met Robert, my parents told me to lie about my age,” Clary told Gayle King in an exclusive interview. “When I met him, he thought I was 18. My parents wanted me to take pictures with him, make sexual videos with him and they said, ‘If they ever had to blackmail him, they could use it against him!’ Savage agreed. “Our parents are out here to get money, both of our parents are trying to scam. Because they didn’t agree with what happened or music and … they’re just very upset.” Savage and Clary’s parents deny ever asking R. Kelly for money even though Clary labeled her father as “manipulative”. Kelly told the CBS This Morning crew that he would not be in the room for Savage and Clary’s interview but later walked in and stood nearby. King says Kelly coughed loudly at one point during the interview when Savage and Clary were giving answers to King to let him know they were there. He asked if he should stop the interview but they never did. “My dad and my mom told me that, ‘They’re going to put all my naked pictures on the Internet for the world to see’,” Clary said. “I’m going to ruin you, I’m going to ruin him if he doesn’t send $20,000 to this bank account by Monday. I’m going to ruin you and then want $10,000 in a bank account after.’ They’re trying to solicit me like I’m some f**king h*e!” In another segment, after it was revealed that Savage’s family contacted her wanting for her to come home after two years of the two not speaking to one another, Kelly says that Savage’s mother pushed her daughter towards Kelly with the promise that he could help her singing career. “She couldn’t sing at all,” Kelly told King. “I’m not with her because she can sing. It’s because she’s beautiful.” In Surviving R. Kelly , the six-part Lifetime docuseries, Clary’s parents say it was Clary who pressed them and made little threats to push her to sing with Kelly. Clary in her interview with Gayle King says she never attempted suicide over singing but according to medical records, Clary attempted suicide over an argument with a then-boyfriend and music calmed her down.
