The rest is here:

Source: Radio One Digital / Radio One Digital Vince Young  is an absolute legend in the state of Texas. We don’t need to go through the former Madison High School quarterback’s full resume but it includes a) a National Championship at Texas, b) a NFL Rookie of the Year honor, c) a 30-2 record as a college quarterback and d) two Rose Bowl MVPs and quite possibly the best player on the field during the greatest game ever played in college football history. In other words, VY is set for life in Houston. Still, that doesn’t mean VY is going to hold back on the criticism lobbed his way during his playing career and more. Even though he misses the game, he still watches — and enjoys college ball and high school ball to that of the NFL sometimes. Why? “Look at these quarterbacks now, they are garbage, bro.” Whew! VY knows it’s all about the show on the field, especially in the league’s premier position. What does he think about his alma mater’s upcoming season and what did he learn while being in the league? Source: GABRIEL BOUYS / Getty Victoria’s Secret has just hired a transgender model for the first time ever. The new VS rep is Brazilian beauty Valentina Sampaio , who revealed that she had the new gig on Instagram. The 22-year-old uploaded a beautiful pic of her in a bathrobe while behind the scenes for a PINK photshoot. Sampaio being recruited is groundbreaking and will hopefully help the lingerie company boost their sales. The company’s revenue has been on the decline recently and they are working to rebrand the company. Text “RICKEY” to 71007 to join the Rickey Smiley Morning Show mobile club for exclusive news.  ( Terms and conditions ). Sampaio’s hire is also surprising, since Victoria’s Secret’s Chief Marketing Officer Ed Razek stated last year that he didn’t feel transgender models should be put in their annual fashion show. “Shouldn’t you have transsexuals in the show? No. No, I don’t think we should. Well, why not? Because the show is a fantasy,” Razek told Vogue in November 2018. VS later faced heavy backlash and that obviously changed their minds about bringing transgender models onboard. Sign Up For Our Newsletter! Close Thank you for subscribing! Aside From Their Ups & Downs On The Show, The Women Of ‘Eurphoria’ Are Absolutely Killing It Right Now

Excerpt from:

Source: Frazer Harrison / Getty The Actresses From Euphoria Are KILLING IT Both On And Off Screen If you’re not watching Euphoria right now, then you’re not only missing out on a pretty unique series–but you’re also missing a really great new group of talent that’s bursting onto the scene along with the success of the show. Everyone knows and loves Zendaya , and as the star of the show, there’s no doubt that a lot of people first decided to check out the series because of her role as Rue . Beside a few other big names like Eric Dane from Grey’s Anatomy , a lot of lesser-known models, actresses, and influencers are making their television debut with their roles on Euphoria –and they’re absolutely killing it. Before Alexa Demie was known for her role on Euphoria , she had smaller roles on series like Ray Donovan , Marina in Love , and in films including Mid90’s and Waves . Now, she’s taking over our screens every Sunday with her portrayal of the perfectly imperfect Maddy Perez , who manages to both win over the audience’s heart and piss them off at the same time. In real life, she’s always posting immaculate photos onto her Instagram page and just gifted us with her personal ’90s glam tutorial via Vogue’s Youtube channel. Her makeup looks on and offscreen have everyone talking and after her success on the first season of Euphoria , we’re sure to see her in a lot more roles moving forward. Barbie Ferreira is another actress from the show whose built herself a real cult following online–but she wasn’t exactly unknown before hitting the small screen. On Euphoria , Barbie portrays Kat Hernandez , a girl who goes from losing her virginity to developing a whole new sexual persona entirely–a lot of which has to do with discovering that men actually find her fuller figure attractive. Even though this is her first major acting gig, the world has known Barbie for a while now because of her work as a plus size model. As someone whose been advocating for body positivity for such a long time offscreen, there’s no better person to go through that journey as Kat on Euphoria . Yet another breakthrough star who found their first acting gig in Euphoria is Hunter Schafer . Always sharing screen time with someone like Zendaya–whose been in the industry since she was a child–has to be tough, but she’s so good, you’d never know this is her first time learning lines. Offscreen, she lights up any room she walks into with her light-hearted and completely calm personality. Going from the world of modeling into a starring role on a TV show can’t be easy, and even though her role as a trans person on TV shows increasing diversity, she still makes sure to vocalize her privilege while advocating for others, including trans people of color. There are so many other women on the series that are absolutely killing it in their roles on Euphoria including Maude Apatow , Sydney Sweeney , and Storm Reid . It’s clear from their interactions online that these girls have built a real sisterhood with each other while making this series, and with season 2 already in the works, it’s going to make for even better on-screen chemistry when new episodes roll around. It’s refreshing to see a major HBO production hire up-and-coming talent instead of tapping into the same talent pool already floating around so many Hollywood productions. Now that these women have made such an impression on fans, it’ll be exciting what avenues they get into next. View this post on Instagram To everyone in this photo, I’m honored and proud to be standing next to you. Love you kids @euphoria A post shared by Zendaya (@zendaya) on Jun 6, 2019 at 1:07pm PDT

Meghan Markle’s Vogue Issue Receives MAJOR Backlash For Excluding The Queen!

Meghan Markle can’t catch a break when it comes to the British press. Time and time again they choose to knock down  the Duchess of Sussex, but they should be celebrating her! Especially today… because she just announced something  extremely monumental. Maybe to some its no biggie, but trust us — it is!  Meghan just made history by not only being the first member of the Royal family to ever guest-edit fashion bible  British Vogu e but for being the first person to ever help edit the September issue.  The September issue is known for being the most significant due to its fall/winter fashion previews.  However, Meghan stayed true to her character and utilized the issue for more than just its fashion-forward conversations and took the chance to discuss something a bit more meaningful, titling the issue “Forces for Change”.  And instead of taking the once in a lifetime opportunity to cover the magazine herself, she gave up the spot to 15 “brilliant female changemakers.” She insisted that she didn’t want to be the center of attention, she wanted the spotlight to be on “the women she admires,” explained British Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful.  Her only strict request was that photographer Peter Lindbergh not edit out the freckles in the photos, because one of Meghan’s biggest pet peeves is when photographers cover up her freckles. Enninful completely agreed, saying it would allow us to see “beauty in real people, in real situations.” In the issue, the  former actress interviewed former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama, who shared her motherly advice over chicken tacos, while Prince Harry spoke with chimpanzee and wildlife expert Dr. Jane Goodall.  The Duchess spent seven whole months working in secret, as explained on the Duke and Duchess’ official joint Instagram account, to “create an issue of inclusivity and inspiration, focusing on what connects us rather than what divides us.”  The collaged cover features 15 women: Women’s rights advocate Salma Hayek Pinault, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, LGBTQIA+ advocate Laverne Cox, youth voting activist Yara Shahidi, and climate activist Greta Thunberg among others. But one spot on the cover was left blank, which was done so that readers could use it as a mirror and reflect their faces onto the cover.  How cute is that?!  Well, a lot of grumpy people weren’t here for it.  One Twitter user wrote, “Why isn’t HM The Queen included on the cover of September’s Vogue, @RoyalFamily?” “Her Majesty is the perfect role model: like many of us she had no choice but to do the job she was given.” Another upset user chimed in with a similar opinion, calling the cover “pathetic.” Others wondered why Meghan didn’t include a doctor, nurse, teacher, lawyer, etc.  But the major problem to critics was that  she skipped out on meeting with President Donald Trump during his recent visit due to her maternity leave but was willing to devote her time to the magazine and interviews with the former First Lady.  Well, yeah. Piers Morgan, of course, had something to say about the Duchess, claiming she is “being about as political as any royal has ever been” and “being a royal means you stay out of politics.” He also took issue with Meghan’s choice of “radical, liberal” Vogue cover stars and how she excluded “the planet’s entire male population.” But despite all of her ( obviously bored)  haters, Meghan is her own person and was politically active long before marrying a prince , and if her Vogue collaboration hasn’t proved to you where her personal interests lie — then off with your head!  (Just Kidding!)  “These last seven months have been a rewarding process… to take the year’s most-read fashion issue and steer its focus to the values, causes, and people making an impact in the world today,” Meghan said in a statement released by the Royal family. “Through this lens, I hope you’ll feel the strength of the collective in the diverse selection of women chosen for the cover as well as the team of support I called upon with the issue to help bring this to light.” “I hope readers feel as inspired as I do, by the forces for change they’ll find within these pages,” she said.  The September 2019 Vogue issue hits newsstands (& your devices) August, 2.  View Slideshow: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Make Red Carpet Debut… AND MEET BEYONCE!

Emma Portner to Justin Bieber: The Way You Degrade Women is an Abomination

Taylor Swift spoke out against a hurtful injustice, only to get accused by Justin Bieber of just wanting attention . Since then, a number of other stars have spoken out in her defense, clapping back at the Biebs for being a douche. Now Emma Portner is speaking about time she spent working for Justin, accusing him of degrading women and grossly underpaying her. 24-year-old choreographer Emma Portner, who is notably Ellen Page’s wife, has spoken out in her Instagram Stories. “Justin Bieber, I regret working under your name,” Emma Portner’s post begins. “I gave you universe my naive body, creativity, time, and effort,” she writes, adding: “Twice.” Emma did this “for content that you made millions off of. While I mad zilch. Nada. Barely anything.” She describes her pay as having been “less than minimum wage for the hours I invested.” “I couldn’t afford to eat,” Emma Portner recalls. She adds: “I was sweeping studio floors to be able to practice my craft.” “The way you degrade women is an abomination,” Emma accuses. She notes: “You continue to collaborate with overly problematic people.” That’s an understatement. Justin gets along alarmingly well with the likes of Chris Brown and (formerly) Floyd Mayweather. “You religiously go to a church that does not support the LGBTQ+ community,” Emma observes. She’s not attacking his faith, but rather where he chooses to practice it. Emma admits that she cannot help but wonder how he feels about working with lesbians like herself and other LGBTQ+ folks. “I can only hope for your enlightenment,” she expresses. “That you read a ton of books.” She even offers to buy him some helpful literature to “change the way your traumatized brain thinks.” Emma also included a post about how one can be glad that they had opportunities while still holding people accountable for mistreatment. That’s very fair. It’s no mystery at all why Emma is speaking out about this now. Over the weekend, Taylor Swift put Scooter Braun on blast for what she described as a history of cruelty and bullying. She had learned, to her horror, that he will soon own the majority of her discography. The Biebs spoke in defense of his manager, and suggested that Taylor was only saying these things to make people pity her. The thing is that other singers and professionals have come out of the woodwork since Taylor spoke out. Additionally, fans have been posting old videos that lend more weight to Taylor’s claims. Madison Beer — who rose to fame after catching Justin’s eye years ago — once shared that her entire music career was swept out from under her. In other footage, Ariana Grande is heard briefly admitting that aspects of her album’s tracklist were not under her control, but under Scooter’s. When Taylor speaks out, she doesn’t have to provide receipts — her fans will whip them out on her behalf. Other celebrities have spoken in praise of her, including Halsey. Taylor Swift knows that speaking out isn’t likely to stop Scooter Braun from assuming ownership of her life’s work. She can’t stop it — she wasn’t even given the opportunity to bid on it, and didn’t know about the sale until it had already happened. But just because you can’t change what has happened doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t tell the world what powerful men do behind closed doors. Taylor knows that. But maybe public pressure and scrutiny will encourage Scooter to offer Taylor a deal, even if it’s only to save his reputation. But that won’t happen as long as he is ardently defended by the likes of Justin Bieber. View Slideshow: Justin Bieber Spills on Sex with Hailey Baldwin: It’s a Blessing from God!

A post shared by Tanya Angelique (@tanyaangelique) on Feb 28, 2019 at 8:31am PST She followed up her debut at Mills’ Viva La Coco with a continued commitment to getting signed and didn’t let the constant rejection deter her from her path, understanding that casting feedback for a model was nothing more than a performance review. “I see a lot of models they get very upset when they don’t book the shoot they don’t book the job, when they don’t get the agency but that is a part of the job and its actually something that helps you grow because every time I get rejected I’m like ‘Okay I need to step my game up.” Even though she spends hours in the gym and has spent countless hours practicing her skills she knows that sometimes no matter how hard you work you’re just not right for the shoot. View this post on Instagram I suppose I could stay, if you insist. A post shared by Tanya Angelique (@tanyaangelique) on Jan 18, 2019 at 7:30pm PST “You could go to all the open calls you want but if you don’t have the look that’s trending at the moment or it’s just not your time yet then it’s just not gonna happen. So, I went to tons of open calls. I went to all the agencies and I got turned down like round after round after round. I was in the suburbs like I need to move. I need to figure out how I’m gonna do this I would get on the train and I would pay my own money to go to all the open castings.” Despite her passion she was always clear that modeling was a career path and not the sum of who she was. She stayed grounded by “being around family being around friends and just remembering that this doesn’t make who you are.” View this post on Instagram Today is an amazing day! She observed Pat McGrath managing her team without raising her voice at them, and Gigi Hadid hanging out while waiting for last looks. “You just see the way people act and just the mannerisms, just how people speak and how just the culture is. It was just amazing to see like just the bright lights, the models, and all of the clothes. It was like ‘Wow! You definitely don’t wanna do that or you’re gonna get lost in the sauce.” Her method of learning is still a common practice. “A lot of people are still sneaking into fashion week just standing outside to see if someone will let them in,” she revealed.  The industry has let her in all the way. She’s booked runways shows, print ads, and commercials. She credits part of her recent success to choosing to work with agency that doesn’t marginalize the potential of black models, a recurring issue in the industry. View this post on Instagram I’M SO IN LOVE with this BRAVE WOMAN. I’ve betrayed her. I’ve not loved her at full capacity. I’ve fed her lies and once told her she wasn’t good enough. I couldn’t stop individuals from abandoning her, yet I’ve seen her still get up to be a light to the world and love others despite all. I’ve stood paralyzed by fear as she faced death alone, watching her fight for her life. Forgive me for not going to war for you like you do for others. This QUEEN is a WARRIOR. We just need one black girl for the agency. Oh, we have enough. Oh, we have one. We already have a black girl with an afro . We already have this look already. This again? It’s important for people to understand. No! You can have ten, twenty, and they can still books jobs. There’s enough for everybody and if they don’t have enough jobs, they should make more jobs to include everyone.” The idea that the modeling industry should better represent the world it seeks to persuade is not a new one but it’s usually watch dog organizations leading the charge and not working models. “I just feel like there might be more space for just more! More inclusivity and more access for people to join the industry, because right now it’s just such a closed community and it’s just so hard for people who are not a part of it to just join in. It should just be easier.” Angelique is so passionate about it she plans to develop her own agency in the future to pursue the more she envisions. She’s partly inspired by McGrath’s entrepreneurship. “I love her,” she squealed.  “Like how inspiring is that? The family initially teased photos of the little guy from far away and now we get a chance to see who he resembles more, mom Kim or dad Kanye. Kim thinks that Psalm looks more like Ye, who recently celebrated his 42nd birthday over the weekend, noting in a caption simply, “Psalm Ye.” Kim faced backlash when she initially posted a photo of Psalm in a sleeping position that could have triggered sudden infant death syndrome or SIDS.
