It's been five months since Jenelle Evans was fired by MTV. But since Teen Mom 2 was on hiatus at the time, we're only now finding out how the show will fare without its primary source of drama. So far, it seems the answer is – not well. Not well at all. According to The Ashley's Reality Roundup, ratings have been on the decline for years, but have taken a particularly sharp dive of late. In fact, they've suffered their most significant drop yet in the first episodes of Season 9B … a.k.a. the first episodes without Jenelle. Can the show survive without its most infamous star? Will the numbers drop so low that MTV will be forced to try and win her back? Even if that happened, does Jenelle have any interest in returning to the reality TV franchise that made her famous … and infamous? Here's what we know about the situation thus far: 1. The End of an Era Yes, after nearly a decade on camera, three children and more ups and downs than we can even count, Jenelle Evans is no longer a Teen Mom 2 cast member. And it seems the show is already suffering without its most marketable star. 2. A Controversial Star Jenelle was liked by many viewers, and even those who hated her loved to watch her. In fact, based on social media comments, it often felt as though the only thing preventing some viewers from fast-forwarding through Jenelle’s scenes was the joy of “hate-watching.” 3. The Nugget Incident Over the years, producers put up with a LOT of unseemly behavior from the Carolina Hurricane over the years, but they finally drew the line when she defended her husband after he beat, shot, and killed her French bulldog puppy, Nugget. 4. Put Out to Pasture Following that horrifying incident (and the ensuing CPS investigation that briefly cost Evans’ custody of her kids), MTV executives basically did to Jenelle’s career what David did to Nugget. 5. Good Riddance? To the immense satisfaction of many viewers fed up with her nonsense, Jenelle was fired from the show that made her famous. And since David had already been canned by producers, the Evans-Eason era was officially at an end. 6. The Last Laugh? Now, however, it seems that Teen Mom 2 and MTV might miss all those viewers who tuned in just to jeer at Jenelle – whether they loved her or loved to hate her. View Slideshow
It is now official: Not only is Justin Bieber a married man, but Justin Bieber is a happily married man. That much is now evident. The singer and Hailey Baldwin got married on September 13, 2018 in a courthouse in New York City. But they didn’t get a chance to celebrate with any family members or friends at the time; nor did they get a chance to express their love for each other in a religious sense, considering this was a brief civil ceremony. Therefore, on Monday evening in South Carolina, Bieber and Baldwin went ahead and exchanged vows for a second time. As detailed in the gallery/slideshow below, Justin and Hailey invited about 150 guests to watch them commit to each other forever and ever. There weren’t any photos from the big day, however… UNTIL NOW! Several hours after multiple outlets reported on the couple’s second wedding, Bieber shared a handful of images from the celebratory event on his Instagram account. He also made a cheeky reference to Baldwin in the process. “My bride is [fire emoji],” the groom captioned a series of shots from the reception’s photobooth, which featured their “The Biebers” logo and wedding date in the corner. In the first black and white photo, the gorgeous bride — rocking some five carat, Tiffany & Co. diamond earrings – is seen pulling at her love’s bow tie while he delicately locks lips with her. In the second picture, the newlyweds are being silly for the camera, with Baldwin sticking out her tongue while Justin puts on a confused face. Hailey Baldwin just got us very excited because, you guys, it is finally happening! That’s right — Hailey and Justin Bieber’s wedding is just days away and Hailey threw a wild bachelorette party last night to celebrate. And to mentally prepare us, TYVM. According to the Daily Mail, Hailey and some of her famous pals — yes, Kendall Jenner — took on the night by going out in West Hollywood and hitting several spots, including Delilah’s nightclub. Just like your normal bachelorette party crew, it was filled with penis-shaped accessories, bride tribe wine cups, and of course, a veil! Hailey looked amazing in a skintight, strapless white dress, which she paired with the bridal veil, making it very clear that she is about to be making her way down the aisle. So stated Justin Bieber as the caption attached to a lengthy, VERY personal and revealing message that he shared with Instagram followers on Monday, September 2. The singer wrote approximately 1,000 words on such topics as: His past drug use. How he struggled with such massive wealth and fame at a young age. What it was like to grow up with two young parents. How his marriage to Hailey Baldwin has basically saved his life. Began Bieber in this emotional post: It’s hard to get out of bed in the morning with the right attitude when you are overwhelmed with your life your past, job, responsibilities, emotions, your family, finances, your relationships. When it feels like there’s trouble after trouble after trouble. You start foreseeing the day through lenses of ‘dread’ and anticipate another bad day. A cycle of feeling disappointment after disappointment. Sometimes it can even get to the point where you don’t even want to live anymore. This is heavy stuff, folks. This past May, Bieber wrote at length about his battle with anxiety . He’s very clearly been trying to evolve as a person for a long time now. In this new message, which has obviously gone extremelt viral, the 25-year-old explains that he constantly felt “unfulfilled” despite his nearly unparalleled levels of succeess. He goes on to discuss the pressure felt by child stars, writing how this his entire world “was flipped on its head” at a young age. She answered generic questions about herself and was dismissed with well wishes. Afterwards she returned home with her ambition in tow. “I just went back to my regular old life,” she explained. She was surprised to receive a call back from the company who insisted that she fly out immediately to appear in the ad. “I booked it. They flew me out to LA, in this beautiful penthouse suite. They had a driver and everything I felt like a celebrity or something. They gave me my own trailer. We were filming on Venice beach. So I took my earnings from the commercial and moved to New York city and from that point I signed with two different agencies and the rest is history.” That history includes walking in shows at New York Fashion Week and leaving behind a part-time job at Forever 21 to spend days smizing on set. “I’ve working with a lot of different brands. It’s my full-time gig now.” She still has side hustle. A lifelong lover of music she recently began releasing music often working with producers to perfect her sound in between modeling gigs. I’ve always had guys who have been attracted to me, but I haven’t always been attracted to myself. I was always uncomfortable in my skin because there weren’t a lot of plus-size girls around me. I was always the biggest girl in my friend group and I was always the biggest girl in class so I felt uncomfortable. But now that I’ve kind of grown into my own I feel more comfortable with my body and the way I look. I can tell that the guys that I date enjoy my beauty and who I am as a person, so it’s helped me to just accept who I am, come out of my shell and enjoy being looked at and complimented. I can take compliments now you want to tell me a compliment I can appreciate that now back then I couldn’t.” Her non-romantic relationships have evolved as well. Today her former critics are in awe of how she has expanded their view of what a ‘model’ looks like. “I think it’s like a new world to them and they never saw anything like it before.
