Curt Schilling said: “It#39;s said only 5-10% of Muslims are extremists. In 1940, only 7% of Germans were Nazis. How#39;d that go#x003f;” Major League Baseball legend Curt Schilling was suspended by broadcaster ESPN on Tuesday after triggering uproar with a tweet that compared “extremist” Muslims to Adolf Hitler#39;s Nazi regime. Schilling, 48, attempted to head off the controversy, hastily deleting the tweet soon after it was posted on his Twitter feed. Schilling accompanied the tweet with h
ROYAL FAMILY SCANDAL ALERT! Queen Elizabeth II has been caught on camera clearly giving the infamous Nazi salute popularized by Adolf Hitler and his cronies. But there’s a pretty big catch: The incident took place in 1933. When Elizabeth was seven years old. British tabloid The Sun actually tried to make this a story in its latest issue, covering its front page with a still image from a 17-second video it obtained and writing as a headline: “Their Royal Heil nesses.” The newspaper’s official Twitter account then wrote as a message: “Secret 1933 film shows Edward VIII teaching Nazi salute to Queen.” As you might expect, many critics called out The Sun for trying to turn a child’s gesture (which took place prior to Hitler truly becoming Hitler , of course) into a scandal. “If the Queen does another Nazi Salute let me know about it. Until then…she was 7 and it didn’t even have it’s eventual context. Not news,” Ricky Gervais Tweeted in response, speaking for anyone with a brain. The comedian went on to say: “I wish all those headlines ‘Ricky Gervais defends The Queen’ more accurately read ‘Ricky Gervais defends the actions of a 7 year old child.” How has The Sun defended its actions? “These images have lain hidden for 82 years. We publish them today, knowing they do not reflect badly on our Queen, her late sister or mother in any way. “They do, however, provide a fascinating insight into the warped prejudices of Edward VIII and his friends in that bleak, paranoid, tumultuous decade.” So, really, supposedly, this is a scandal about Edward VIII and not the eventual Queen? Got it. Either way: WHO CARES?!?
Last week, Amanda Bynes was released a psychiatric care facility. Since then, she’s engaged in a wide array of troubling behavior, much of it on Twitter, where the troubled actress regularly speaks her mind to her 3.5 million followers. Amanda was particularly active on the site this past weekend, beginning on Friday night, when she shared a picture of her newly-dyed purple hair. In most cases, a change in hair color may seem harmless, but Amanda first showed a fondness for lurid locks during her last public meltdown in 2013. As for Amanda’s most recent tweets – she certainly seems to mean well, but her tirades often reflect her unstable emotional state. The following were posted by Amanda in the past 24 hours: “It goes against my religion to follow an ugly person.” “I’m so rude…If you don’t like someone you have every right to be rude to them.” “Adolf Hitler tricked the Germans into believing that Jews were less than the Germans and that they should be segregated tnd then killed…But Germans who feel that Adolf Hitler was incorrect aren’t guilty in my book.” “Feel my pain.” That last one was posted several times and seems to be something of a personal mantra for Bynes. Amanda’s unusual twitter presence has gotten her in trouble in the past, most recently when she accused her father of sexual assault , and then quickly retracted the allegation. Sources have claimed that Bynes is homeless at the moment. She’s been spotted aimlessly wandering the streets of Los Angeles and sleeping in shopping malls. Her parents have moved to Texas and are no longer seeking a conservatorship. 45 Seriously OMG WTF Amanda Bynes Photos 1. Amanda Bynes is Dope Amanda Bynes thinks she is dope. The actress has posted this photo to Twitter.
Racism is alive and well. Sign Outside Indiana Shop Shows Obama With Hitler Mustache Obama is the president and even though some people didn’t want a black man in office, they need to respect it. According to Raw Story A video billboard outside a northeast Indiana shopping center shows a picture of President Barack Obama wearing an Adolf Hitler mustache. The billboard flashes the image at the start of a display that next flashes the words “Impeach” and “Obama.” The sign’s owner said the images were a paid advertisement that wasn’t associated with any of the businesses at Cornerstone Plaza on U.S. 6 in Kendallville, about 20 miles north of Fort Wayne. The sign also included another message linked to LaRouchePac, a political action committee formed by former presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche, and third that seeks to restore the Glass-Steagall Act, a Depression-era law that limited activities between commercial banks and securities firms. Supporters of LaRouche, who has promoted a number of conspiracy theories and was convicted in 1988 of mail fraud and tax code violations, have in the past circulated posters and flyers showing Obama with a mustache like Hitler’s, and his PAC has called restoration of the Glass-Stegall legislation as “the indisputable first step to global economic recovery.” Mayor Suzanne Handshoe said the message was inappropriate, regardless of a person’s views of the president, and didn’t reflect a message the city would want to send. J.C. Penney is at the center of a new controversy. Not because it hired Ellen DeGeneres as a spokesperson. But because a billboard alongside Interstate 405 near Culver City, California depicts a tea kettle… that looks eerily like Adolf Hitler! Really, it sort of/kind of/totally does. See for yourself: The item (from the Michael Graves Design Bells and Whistles Stainless Steel Tea Kettle) also appears on the company’s website and J.C. Penney is yet to speak on the scandal. We somehow doubt the department store was going for this subtle nod to the leader of the Nazi Party – but once you have that idea in your head, it’s impossible to look at the sign and NOT think it resembles Hitler. Hilarious.

Designer fired by Christian Dior for making anti-Semitic comments. By Eric Ditzian Natalie Portman Photo: Matt Carr/Getty Images A day after Natalie Portman avoided answering a reporter’s question about allegedly anti-Semitic remarks made by Christian Dior designer John Galliano, the newly minted Oscar winner released a statement condemning him. During a post-Oscar press conference on Sunday, a question about Galliano’s comments was cut off before Portman, who appears in ads for Miss Dior Cherie perfume, could answer. But after video surfaced the next day of Galliano expressing an admiration for Adolf Hitler, the 29-year-old actress announced late Monday that she would have not associate herself with the designer. “I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano’s comments that surfaced today,” she said in the statement. “In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way.” The video in question, obtained by Britain’s The Sun, reportedly shows Galliano at a bar in Paris in October. He appears intoxicated as he speaks to unseen patrons at a nearby table. “I love Hitler,” Galliano says. “Your mother, your forefathers would be f—ing gassed and f—ing dead.” Dior originally suspended Galliano for other, allegedly anti-Semitic remarks made during an argument at a bar in Paris last week. The designer was arrested and charged with assault and making anti-Semitic comments. On Tuesday, Dior officially fired Galliano, according to Women’s Wear Daily. “I condemn most firmly the statements made by John Galliano which are a total contradiction with the essential values that have always been defended by the House of Christian Dior,” Dior president Sidney Toledano said in a statement announcing the action. “I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful,” Portman added in her statement.

Chris Matthews on Friday said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell should be Time magazine's Man of the Year for engineering a “disgusting strategy” that forced Obama to the left and made the President look like a socialist. “Time magazine’s picked people pretty awful,” claimed the “Hardball” host. “I’m not mentioning their names…Hitler” (video follows with transcript and commentary):
