The Vampire Diaries: 7 Season 7 Spoilers from Comic-Con

Fans must wait all the way until October 8 for the premiere of  The Vampire Diaries Season 7 on The CW. Fortunately, the show's key cast members and producers gathered at Comic-Con in San Diego over the weekend to provide scoop on the following upcoming storylines: Damon without Elena in his life. Caroline trying to stave off the formation of Staroline. Enzo's big decision. New villains in town. The demise of Mystic Falls as we've known it. Scroll through the following slides to gather up scoop on what will go down this fall on The Vampire Diaries Season 7… 1. A Dark Damon Both Ian Somerhalder and Julie Plec teased that Damon will return to the “sexy, volatile, fun” Damon from Season 1 and 2. Said the producer: “For him, it’s ‘Who am I without this girl right by my side?’ We’re going to see a lot of naughty Damon trying not to be naughty.” 2. Staroline… Not Forever? Plec promises “many unexpected twists and turns” when it comes to Caroline and Stefan’s relationship, as the former will be doing all she can to stave off the formation of Staroline. But it won’t be easy for her. 3. Who’s Going Shirtless? It doesn’t matter much to us, they’re all pretty easy on the eyes, but Plec also teased “shirtless stuff every episode.” 4. Choosing a Side Enzo will have quite a dilemma on his hands when Season 7 opens. “It’s about choosing his allegiance,” Michael Malarkey says. “Does he go with Lily and the Heretics or does he side with Damon? It’s a struggle for him.” Look for a major decision to be made by the end of the premiere. 5. Big and Very Bad Producer Caroline Dries acknowledged how awesome Kai was as a villain on Season 6, but she’s confident the Heretics can maybe surpass him on Season 7: “By bringing in Lily’s family, it’s these six villains who can do magic — and they’re vampires. It’s going to be exciting and gruesome and violence.” 6. RIP, Mystic Falls? Partly through the use of flashbacks and time jumps, we’ll learn how Mystic Falls became the abandoned, polluted town we saw at the end of the Season 6 finale. View Slideshow

Demi Lovato Flaunts Curves, Sends Inspiring Message

Demi Lovato has recovered from her hard pool spill in Las Vegas to send an important message on Instagram. The 22-year old singer – who spent time in rehab in 2010 for many issues (including some related to body image) – and who has since spoken out many times against the thigh gap , shared a picture online of her long and luscious leg. “Learn to lurrrrrvveee yerrrrr currrrrvveees,” Lovato wrote as a caption. But she wasn’t finished. The artist went on to say she used to hate her own curves, but then referenced someone (likely her f-ckin perfect boyfriend , Wilmer Valderrama) for showing her the light. “I actually used to hate them,” she wrote. “But then a special someone helped me learn how to love them…and he sure loves them….#squats #COOLFORTHESUMMER.” Lovato has often credited Wilmer Valderrama for helping her maintain a healthy sense of self-esteem. “I almost went back to rehab for my eating disorder last summer,” Demi admitted Fitness magazine in 2014. “I was obsessing over food and terrified of it at the same time. Wilmer noticed and called me out on it, which was a relief.” There’s been talk for awhile now of Lovato being engaged to Valderrama, but it has not been verified by either side. No matter, though. They clearly make an amazing couple regardless of status.

108-Year Old Throws a Better First Pitch Than 50 Cent

Evelyn Jones is 108 years old. But she didn't spend her latest birthday just relaxing at home. Instead, the very senior citizen was at Safeco Field in Seattle, joining our list of memorable first pitch throwers . Prior to the Mariners taking on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Saturday night, Jones put on a team jersey and walked over to the home plate area in order to show off her arm. And while the underhand toss did not travel very far, it was still a more impressive effort than 50 Cent’s first pitch fail . Jones was gifted a uniform shirt with the number 108 on it, while the Mariners wrote on Twitter after the game: “Evelyn threw a first pitch to @RealKingFelix and the entire stadium sang her Happy Birthday. Best birthday ever?” You know it. And one we should all be fortunate enough to celebrate.

Josh Hamilton Signs $125 Million Deal with Angels

One year after shocking the world with its signing of Albert Pujols, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have done it again. And they’ve screwed over arch rival Texas in the process. Sources confirm that Josh Hamilton – a former American League MVP who hit .285 with 43 homers and 128 RBI last year – has signed a five-year, $125 million deal with the Angels. In stealing the free agent from the Rangers, Los Angeles bolsters a lineup that already includes Pujols and Mike Trout. That’s fairly ridiculous. It is now expected they will try to trade another bat (Mike Trumbo, sources believe) for a front-line pitcher along the lines of R.A. Dickey. Hamilton is a recovering alcoholic who has been open about his struggles to remain clean and sober. He’s exceptionally good at hitting a baseball.
