Chrissy Teigen Scores First Viral Moment of 2019

Welp, that didn't take long. Chrissy Teigen just created the first viral moment of 2019. And she did it when the new year was merely a second old. Teigen appeared on NBC’s New Year’s Eve telecast on Monday evening, where she counted down to the new year with Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones and Today‘s Carson Daly. Typically, we'd be wondering why on earth a single person would ever go down to Times Square to watch the ball drop in person around this time. However, instead of shaking our heads over the thousands of revelers in the background of the clip featured here, we're laughing our rear ends off over what transpired between Teigen and Jones. You see, when the hilarious social media user and mother of two went in to hug Jones … she was accidentally smacked in the face by Leslie's umbrella. “I'm okay!” Teigen joked on Twitter after a follower shared video from the unexpected moment, adding: “7am. Heading back out to Time's Square to find my eyeball.” Jones, who is also an expert user of the Twitter machine, chimed in as follows: “Ugh I can't believe I hit @ChrissyTeigen in face!! Lordt!! I love you boo!! So Sorry. #ThatsWhyIHateUmbrellas.” Perhaps, however, this moment was actually planned in order to serve as a distraction from the mini controversy Teigen stirred up when she mentioned vaginal steaming on the show. Yes, vaginal steaming. In response, some viewers complained that the subject wasn’t appropriate for a telecast many were watching with they’re young kids. Wrote one individual, for example: “Maybe I’m old but not that old. Watching NBC with my 12 year old 20 min before the ball drops and Chrissy Teigen starts talking about vaginal steaming. Really?! “The host of NYE…vaginal steaming? Come on…have a little CLASS. Too many families watching honey. Not cute.” Do you agree? Ponder the answer while you watch Teigen gets destroyed by the umbrella in this footage.

Kush Chronic-les: John McCain’s Busty Daughter Meghan Says The Grandaddy Purp Should Be (Cough, Cough) Legal!

Puff, puff, pass Meghan… Meghan McCain Announces That She Is In Favor Of Legalized Medical Mary Jane Meghan McCain, the daughter of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), appeared on NBC’s “Tonight Show With Jay Leno” on Tuesday to talk about the release of her new book, “America You Sexy Bitch.” McCain wasted no time announcing that the “research” she had done for the book, which included smoking a joint, had led her to support legalizing marijuana. “That seems really Republican,” Leno ribbed, prompting McCain to delve into the subject. “Yes, I come out for legalizing marijuana in this book,” she announced. “I was living in Los Angeles very briefly last year and I was shocked at how people here smoke weed the way people in New York pour wine.” McCain went on to mention the “parallels” between between marijuana and alcohol prohibition and said her “research onto the economic benefits” of legalizing the substance had led her to “come out publicly in support of it.” A recent study found that doing so could save the U.S. around $13.7 billion annually. Asked by Leno if she smoked weed herself, McCain admitted to lighting up in New Orleans, where she said she was going to tour Treme for a segment in her book. While she claimed that the behavior wasn’t typical for her, it did earn her friend Glen — the apparent provider — a “big shout out.” Meghan also spoke about how a certain politician actually helped her decide that legalizing the sticky-icky was the right thing to do: “My favorite thing about this is Governor Cuomo is trying to pass a bill in New York that says if you’re caught with certain ounces of marijuana that it’s okay unless it’s over a certain amount — I think it’s 32 grams. So technically, I could be caught with a joint in New York and be fined $100, but if I’m caught with a a Slurpee, it’s $200,” McCain said. God bless Meghan McCain, her bountiful bosoms, and the bong that she sparks up. Image via Twitter Source

TIME Magazine’s Breastfeeding Cover Mom Says She’ll Take Her Toddler Off Her Tata Sometime This Year…

Considering he turns 4 next month, don’t you think it’s about TIME ? The young mom who sparked a media storm breastfeeding her 3-year-old son on the cover of Time magazine is opening up about the controversial photo. Jamie Lynne Grumet, 26, appeared on NBC’s “Today” show on Friday to discuss the cover, which shows her casually nursing her toddler Aram, who stares straight into the camera while he stands on a wooden chair. “I do understand why Time chose this picture, because it did create such a media craze … to get the dialogue talking,” Grumet said. The ensuing controversy focused on attachment parenting – the topic of Time’s cover story – particularly extended breastfeeding. Grumet explains that she was breastfed until she was 6-years-old and cites it as the reason she and her mother have a close bond. Dr. Bill Sears, who developed the attachment parenting theory, also appeared on “Today” with Grumet. While both are advocates of the controversial parenting technique – which also includes co-sleeping, or letting children sleep in their parent’s beds – Grumet admits it’s not for everyone. “You need to do what’s best for your own baby and your family,” she says. And not all of the criticism is coming from people against attachment parenting, Grumet notes. “I understand some of the breast-feeding advocates are actually upset about this,” she said on “Today.” Mommyish.com blogger Shawna Cohen, who says she practices some attachment parenting principles, wrote that she was disappointed in the Time cover. “It angers me because it portrays AP moms as being totally extreme,” she wrote in a blog post. “And in most cases, that couldn’t be further from the truth.” Even celebrities chimed in – including new mom Alyssa Milano. “Time, no! You missed the mark!” the actress wrote on Twitter. “You’re supposed to be making it easier for breastfeeding moms. Your cover is exploitative and extreme.” Grumet explains that the cover didn’t adequately demonstrate the nurturing side of attachment parenting. “This isn’t how we breastfeed at home,” she says. “It’s more of a cradling, nurturing situation.” Grumet, who has one other 5-year-old son, says she hopes to stop breastfeeding Aram, who turns 4 next month, sometime in the next year. Clearly TIME knew what they were doing with the controversial cover. And can you really blame them when subscriptions are probably in the dumps (believe us, they’ve been stalking us for a renewal). But we are happy to hear that three-year-old Aram isn’t really standing on a stool while he gnaws on his Mommy’s milk carriers. Since news of this cover came out, has it encouraged anyone to look more deeply into attachment parenting? Where do you weigh in on this issue? Source

President Obama, Jimmy Fallon Slow Jam the News

President Barack Obama appeared on NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon early this morning, taking part in the show’s running bit called “slow jamming the news.” If you haven’t seen it, the segment’s name speaks for itself. In front of a live college audience at the University of North Carolina, Obama talked about student loans while Fallon’s house band the Roots jammed on a slow, sensual R&B beat, making the topic seem sexier than you ever thought possible: Obama on Jimmy Fallon With the rhythmic tunes accompanying him, Obama said, “What we said is simple: Now is not the time to make school more expensive for our young people.” Fallon then added (in his best Barry White voice), “Awww, yeah. You should listen to the president. Or as I like to call him, the Preezy of the United Steezy.” “Things are heating up inside Congress’ chambers behind those closed doors.” We don’t even know what that means, but the “POTUS with the most-est” needs to bring the Roots with him and deliver campaign speeches this way more often. Mitt Romney wouldn’t stand a chance.

Tori Spelling Creates, Shoots Down Divorce Rumors

Tori Spelling has clearly been attending classes at Kardashian University. Like the world’s most famous, least talented trio of siters, the washed-up actress has created her own relationship drama … in order to spout off to the press, deny the made-up rumors and garner attention for her reality show. Earlier today, Spelling appeared on NBC and said her and husband Dean McDermott are “not headed for divorce. We’re committed to each other, we’re committed to this family. But you know, we work on things just like everyone else.” They are different from everyone else in one regard, of course: they contrive scenarios for their Oxygen reality show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood , and pretend like the show is a glimpse into their actual lives. On the upcoming fifth season, for example, Tori, Dean and their children load into an RV and take a road trip to Atlanta. They fight along the way, of course, including the following, scripted exchange: “It’s like you got more and more unhappy and angry,” Spelling says to her husband. “I just want the old Dean back. I really do. I miss you so much.” But don’t worry, folks! Tori told Us Weekly that “there are good days and bad days with everything. I’m happy fans will see we have ups and downs like everyone else.” This begs the question: Who on earth is a fan of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott?!?
