Doris died of a heart attack in 2014 just weeks after Rowland, 38, gave birth to her son, Titan. “I lost my mom to cardiac arrest,” Rowland told us. “This hit home for me.” The singer said it was “time for me to pour back into my body,” and embarked on a self-care, workout and wellness routine. These days, Rowland said she now enjoys yoga, jogging with friends, high-intensity interval training and pilates – and recently took up meditation. “I went one day and it absolutely changed my life,” Rowland said of meditating. For months and months, Jay Smith has been insinuating that he’s not the only villain in his marriage. Ashley and Jay are divorcing after his (latest) adultery, but did Ashley “do something” to him? At the Tell All special, Jay finally aired his accusations. Fans were teased ahead of the airing of part two of the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Season 4 Tell all. With the promise that Jay would finally be giving a voice to his claims about Ashley, fans wondered what he might be planning to say. “Grab a Snickers …” Ashley told her followers. “If I did something so bad,” she wrote. “He wouldn’t have said he wanted another chance on last week’s episode.” That’s a very fair point. This Tell All special featured the most guests we’ve ever seen. Guests included family members, a baby, Larissa’s boyfriend, and of course, Jay’s friends. Michael and Kendall — the guys from the barbershop — teleconferenced in. They explained the outrage over Jay disrespecting the place of business with his bathroom hookup. They also said that Jay was simply too immature to be monogamous. Wow. It was their appearance on the show that infuriated Jay … and prompted him to walk off. Of course, producers and a camera followed him down the cooridor. Eventually, they sat him down and let him say his piece. “Kendall messaged Ashley behind my back,” Jay claims to the camera. “And,” he continues. “I confronted him about it.” Eventually, the producers managed to herd Jay back onto the stage. Ashley describes how she says that Jay spoke to her after being caught cheating. “He looked at me right in my face and said: ‘Why can’t you just leave me alone and let me be happy? She’s my age,'” Ashley recalls. Jay seemed to insist that this was not the case. Then, Jay leveled an accusation of his own at Ashley. Jay then accuses Ashley of having messaged multiple exes right in front of him. Ashley claims that she did nothing of the sort until they were already separated. Then Jay comes out with his big accusation. He claims that she was messaging one ex, and that he knows this because he searched her phone. “You guys are ridiculous,” Ashley announces. “I’m done with today” This is when she gets up and walks off of the set, asking producers to remove her mic. Now, obviously, if it’s true that Ashley was messaging an ex, that sounds like a problem. In the context of someone whose husband is repeatedly cheating on her, though, it’s understandable. This is especially true when you take into consideration the allegations of abuse during their marriage. Regardless of whom you believe, it is even more clear now than before that Ashley and Jay’s marriage was doomed. It was a toxic relationship. Control issues, cheating, and alleged violence should not be a part of any marriage. It is a relief that they are no longer in a relationship. Some people should never be together. Source: Nintendo / Nintendo of America Rumors have been swirling for months about Nintendo dropping a new Switch model , today (July 10) the company finally unveiled a new cheaper, smaller unit the Nintendo Switch Lite and despite being a scaled-down version of the original, it still offers almost the same functionality of its predecessor. The new leaner but still meaner Nintendo Switch Lite arrives September 20 and will only cost you $199, a whole $100 cheaper than the original. It will feature a 5.5-inch screen a slight downgrade from the Switch’s 6.2-inch display but will still run games at a resolution of 720p. The Switch Lite is pure handheld mode ditching the hybrid ability to connect with your TV via the dock, so think it of it as a better 3DS model. Also gone are the removable Joy-Cons, rumble feature, and IR motion sensors. Don’t fret though, you can still connect a Joy-Con to the Lite as well as the pro Switch controller as well as the Switch Pro Controller, and the Poké Ball Plus. There might be issues playing Switch titles like Pokémon Let’s Go or 1-2 Switch that requires motion controls. Another glaring omission is the four directional buttons which have now been switched out with a traditional D-Pad. Nintendo says if you do try to buy a game that is not compatible with the lite from the E-Shop, you will get a warning before you confirm your purchase. Like its predecessor, the Nintendo Switch Lite comes in different colors a yellow, turquoise, gray model. A limited-edition Pokemon-themed design will launch alongside Pokemon Sword but will not feature the game in a bundle strangely. While it has not been confirmed by Nintendo, there have been rumblings of an “enhanced” version of the Switch coming for more passionate gamers. The chatter for that console hasn’t been as loud as it was for the Lite, but we won’t be shocked if it indeed is true. So far, the petition has over 370,000 signatures and counting, all in hopes that it gets the attention of officials in the European nation. From the Change.org petition: Upon being detained, Rocky was denied his request to counsel which is in violation of Article 36 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, to which Sweden is a signatory. Everyone has the same rights to be treated fairly upon detainment and should be given fair and equal access to such rights. Since, he has been allowed to visit with a U.S. Embassy Consult and attorney, but only in the presence of Swedish officials. It is extremely troubling and worrisome that the laws are not being applied equally in these circumstances. On Monday, July 8th, we filed an appeal with the Swedish Supreme Court to have Rocky released from the inhumane conditions and the clear violation of human rights. They rejected the filing, which means Rocky will remain in prison for two weeks. The conditions of the facility are horrific. Some of the inhumane conditions Rocky and his colleagues are facing at the Stockholm Detention Center include 24/7 solitary confinement, restriction of amenities for the most basic of human functions, access to palatable and life sustaining food as well as unsanitary conditions. According to the petition description, Rocky could face an additional two weeks in the prison according to the prosecutor’s wishes to extend the trial until August. If you don’t know Disney announced that Halle Bailey will be playing Ariel in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid and that announcement sparked outrage online from some people who felt like Ariel shouldn’t be black. Those folks quickly started posting under the hashtag #NotMyAriel to voice their disdain on the decision. A lot of other great people on Twitter took to stick up for Halle against people who can’t see progress. A chauffeur named Anthony T. Greene who claims he was assaulted by Jordan, is seeking $25,000 in damages, plus the cost of attorney fees, and he’s coming for everyone including The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s production company (True Entertainment), Thomas, and of course Jordan, Bossip reports. After asking Moore to be the night’s MC, Thomas graciously paid for her and Jordan’s ticket so that they could be sure to attend the event. But right before the event, Jordan and Moore got into a heated confrontation. Moore then asked Thomas to cancel Jordan’s flight from Atlanta to Charlotte, but no one bothered to tell Jordan that he was uninvited. After showing up to the airport and discovering his ticket was cancelled, Jordan drove from Atlanta to Charlotte, arriving at the grand opening to everyone’s surprise. When Moore is alerted that Jordan is at the event, she immediately leaves and tries to exit with Greene driving. According to Moore, Jordan blocked her vehicle with his car in an attempt to get her attention. After approaching Moore’s vehicle, things get physical and he ultimately ends up hitting the chauffeur in the face before he exits the premises. But now, Greene, says he is owed for the physical and emotional stress from the incident. He claims that he had no prior knowledge of Moore and Jordan’s volatile relationship, and because he says the producers were aware that Jordan was on his way to Charlotte, he feels he wasn’t protected during that fateful night. After checking into a hospital the day after the confrontation, he discovered that he suffered from a concussion.
