And while we're fans of many of the artists and albums listed below, we're also shocked over many of the artists and albums NOT nominated in various categories. Who are the more egregious snubs? Scroll down to see who's up for the big awards and who really ought to have been instead… 1. Who IS Up in the Top Categories? Okay. So Who Got Snubbed? Let’s start with Taylor Swift. According to Billboard, Reputation was the best-selling album of 2018 — and yet it only garnered a nomination for in the Best Pop Vocal Album category. 5. Talk About a Fall from Grace for Taylor, Huh? Tell us about it. 6. And What About Travis Scott? Forget his romance with Kylie for a moment. Astroworld sold over one million copies and included such contributors as Stevie Wonder, John Mayer and Earth, Wind & Fire’s Philip Bailey. The single “Sicko Mode” was the most popular record in the country this week. View Slideshow

Kevin Hart: Stepping Down as Oscars Host After Homophobic Comments Resurface

Things aren’t looking so good for Kevin Hart right now. Don’t feel bad though, it’s all 100% his own fault. There’s a whole, whole lot to unpack here, so let’s just get to it, all right? Earlier this week, it was announced that Kevin would be acting as host for next year’s Academy Awards. Many people took issue with this because of several homophobic comments he’s made in the past . In 2011, he tweeted “Yo if my son comes home & try’s 2 play with my daughters doll house I’m going 2 break it over his head & say n my voice ‘stop that’s gay’.” In 2010, he made another tweet asking why Damien Wayans’ profile picture looks “like a gay bill board for AIDS.” There are actually dozens of awful tweets like these — he used to be very fond of calling people “gay” as an insult, and of the phrase “no homo.” He also used to be very quick to call someone a “f-g.” Kevin did stop talking like this on Twitter in 2011, which was also the year he got famous when one of his stand-up specials got popular — make of that what you will. He also made questionable statements during a 2010 comedy special. “One of my biggest fears is my son growing up and being gay,” he said then. “That’s a fear.” “Keep in mind, I’m not homophobic. Be happy. Do what you want to do. But me, as a heterosexual male, if I can prevent my son from being gay, I will.” So all of this is pretty bad, right? This isn’t the first time these comments have resurfaced, but since hosting the Oscars is such a big deal, this is the first time they’ve gotten this much attention. And Kevin did not appreciate it. In an Instagram post he made yesterday, he implored anyone reading to “Stop looking for reasons to be negative.” He wrote that he is “truly happy,” and that there is “NOTHING” that will change that. “If u want to search my history or past and anger yourselves with what u find that is fine with me,” he continued. “You LIVE and YOU LEARN & YOU GROW & YOU MATURE. Please take your negative energy and put it into something constructive.” The whole post was weird because he was criticizing other people for being upset over the genuinely terrible things that he said . And his next post was even weirder. Several hours after the previous post, he shared this video: Kevin Hart: I Won’t Apologize for Homophobic Jokes! As he explained, he’d just gotten a call from the Academy “and that call basically said, ‘Kevin, apologize for your tweets of old, or we’re going to have to move on and find another host.'” He refused to apologize. He refused because, as he said, “I’ve addressed this several times. This is not the first time this has come up. I’ve addressed it/ I’ve spoken on it.” “I’ve said where the rights and wrongs were. I’ve said who I am now versus who I was then. I’ve done it. I’ve done it.” And because of that, he’s not going to “continue to go back and tap into the days of old, when I’ve moved on and I’m in a completely different space in my life.” He also said that since people took the time to find all those awful things he said, they could have also spent time to find newer statements he’s made discussing why he made those comments in the first place. “We’re feeding the internet trolls and we reward them,” he complained. “I’m not going to do it, man.” He finished by saying that regardless of what happens next, he’s “thankful for the opportunity” to host the Academy Awards. So what happened next? He got fired. Well, he didn’t get fired — late last night, he tweeted “I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year’s Oscars.” To elaborate, he wrote “This is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists.” And despite what he said in that video that he shared shortly before these tweets, he did apologize for his old comments. “I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past,” Kevin said. “I’m sorry that I hurt people.” “I am evolving and want to continue to do so. My goal is to bring people together not tear us apart.” He concluded with “Much love & appreciation to the Academy. I hope we can meet again.” All right, so Kevin is no longer hosting the Oscars because he made several offensive comments in the past that he refused to apologize for. It all seems so silly, doesn’t it? The Academy Awards are a very big deal, and it’s also a very big deal for a comedian to be asked to host them. On top of that, all those things he said really were terrible, no matter how long ago he said them or what his intentions were or how much he’s grown since then. So why was it such a huge deal for him to apologize? Especially when he ended up apologizing anyway after already losing the job. Kevin Hart, just do better next time, OK? It sincerely is not as difficult as you seem to think it is.

Teresa Giudice: Watch Her FLIP OUT at Jackie Goldschneider

We covered a lot on this week's  The Real Housewives of New Jersey recap , but one moment in particular merits further examination. Teresa totally flipped her s–t at Jackie Goldschneider when the latter touched on a very sensitive subject. Don't rub it in Teresa's face that her husband is in prison. She knows. And she will end you. Jackie Goldshneider has made a catastrophic mistake. But this The Real Housewives of New Jersey clip begins with an argument between Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga. Teresa believes that Melissa's husband, Joe Gorga, has not been spending enough time with their father, Giacinto Gorga. Giacinto is in poor health, and Teresa feels that Melissa could be doing more to  Melissa does not enjoy being told how to manage her marriage. And she is not shy about expressing that. “I don’t wanna be told how to convey something to my husband,” Melissa says. “My marriage is strong,” she affirms. “It’s good for a f–king reason.” “We talk,” Melissa states. “And that’s it!” “Nobody tells me how to speak to my husband,” she announces. “Not my sister-in-law. Not my mother. No one!” That sounds firm enough, right? This is where Jackie makes her fatal error. See, Melissa isn't getting anywhere with Teresa. Teresa, in the mean time, seems to feel that Melissa should be able to simply control her husband, or his emotions. Now, we're not saying that emotional manipulation isn't a time-honored marital tradition, for better for for worse. But Jackie thinks that it's absurd that Teresa is suggesting that Melissa should be able to play her husband like a fiddle. In an effort to highlight how little wives can actually control the actions or feelings of their husbands, Jackie brings up a very sensitive topic. Joe Giudice is in prison (and, in fact, will very likely be deported in the spring of 2019). Jackie goes a little too far in trying to prove her point. “I’m sorry,” Jackie begins. “With all due respect,” Jackie says. “Do you really feel like your husband would be in jail right now if you could control what he did?” Oh no . The immediate tension that follows is palpable. Everyone seems to be in disbelief at what Jackie just asked, and is waiting nervously for Teresa's reaction. Even Jackie herself covers her mouth with her hand, as if she is filled with instant regret and perhaps a degree of dread. The entire room braces themselves for Teresa's response. “Why are you bringing up my husband and where he is?” Teresa demands to know. She does not like to verbally acknowledge her husband's incarceration if she can help it. Teresa cannot help but take Jackie's words as a personal attack. “How dare she throw it in my face that my husband’s away,” Teresa tells the camera. Teresa asks: “Who the f–k does this b–ch think she is?” Jackie, of course, was just trying to point out that wives cannot control their husbands. But she really pushed the envelope in her effort to prove that. Joe is a touchy subject, and with his looming and seemingly inevitable deportation, that's only going to become worse. Don't push Teresa Giudice's buttons, folks. You might lose your button-pushing fingers.

Jax Taylor Gets Paid More Than the Rest of the Vanderpump Cast Because In 2018, Cruelty and Idiocy Are Virtues

If you're a fan of the long-running Bravo series Vanderpump Rules , then there are certain facts that you've come to accept about the life among West Hollywood's drunkest band of extremely caucasian sociopaths: For example, despite claims to the contrary, it is all about the pasta. But the most salient and inarguable truth about Lisa Vanderpump's ragged band of aging hedonists is that Jax Taylor is the most repugnant villain this side of The Situation circa 2010. Jax cheats on his fiancee , lies like it's his job (which we guess it sort of is), heaps abuse on his friends and former co-workers, then throws himself pity parties on the rare occasion that someone actually calls him out for being horrible. Of course, this is the kind of stuff that makes the world of reality television go 'round, so perhaps it should come as no surprise that Jax gets paid more than his co-stars. Take a look: 1. Stacks For Jax Obviously, at this point, it’s hilarious that the cast occasionally pretends to be reliant on the meager paychecks that they receive from serving and bartending at Lisa Vanderpump’s Sexy Unique Restaurant. (That name will never not be hilarious.) 2. The Grand Charade The show’s not even fully committed to that bit, as cast members get fired by Lisa and don’t even pretend to seek out other employment. 3. Slow Climb These days, the entire cast is sitting pretty from a financial standpoint, but it took them quite a few years to get to where they are. 4. Started From the Bottom In the early days, the cast wasn’t pretending to be poor. 5. That’s Like a Month’s Rent in LA A lawsuit that Tom Sandoval filed against his former talent agency revealed that the bartender made just $12,000 from the show’s first season. 6. Getting Somewhere … The same suit revealed that Sandoval brought home $25,600 for Vanderpump Season 2. A major raise, but still not that much cash. View Slideshow

The Taylor Swift Ass Grab Photo of the Day

In silly Taylor Swift news….she’s suing some radio DJ from Denver for grabbing her ass while posing for a photo. His name is DJ David Mueller and the claim is that he “reached up under my skirt and grabbed my ass right when I was having to pose for a photo.” This is the picture that Taylor Swift was trying to keep private, despite it being the evidence in the lawsuit…. Now I’ve grabbed my fair share of asses that didn’t ask to be grabbed, the most famous one being Lady Gaga’s ass many years ago – before she was famous – but she was in a leotard in a VIP booth at a club I was at – and I just couldn’t help myself from reaching in and being a full creeper….I was drunk and I was trying to get her attention and she didn’t even notice, it was a great ass and her security didn’t notice, so I didn’t get my ass kicked….or sued for sexual harassment… I didn’t do it for sexual reasons, I never really assault girls like that, so I realize how creepy that kind of thing is to do, I’ve grown since then and I’d never grab an ass unless I was paying 10 dollars a song to do it….so if I was this close to Taylor Swift, I’d be more inclined to throw semen at her vagina hoping it stuck to make me well funded babies…even though the rumor is she’s already pregnant – not sure who the father is – because she likes to fuck….just not low level radio DJ creeps. I hope they give him the chair….because women’s rights…in this feminist era has no room for pussy grabbing – just because your president claims when you’re rich and famous you can grab them by the pussy – because you can….and if you’ve seen a girl around someone she thinks is amazing – like a DJ, bartender, celebrity, etc…you’ll know….just last weekend – there was this 20 year old babe in a cleavage revealing shirt working the bartender, with half her tit hanging out….just like that…half tit exposed…and she knew it…she just wanted him to know it…because girls are the predators….just not to dudes they want nothing to with….like Me! Point of the story is – don’t grab random ass…there are plenty of willing girls who want their asses grabbed…focus on them. Kamilla Osman: Kim Kardashian Lookalike Stuns Instagram!

Kim Kardashian's high-end wardrobe and famously gigantic ass have inspired plenty of style imitators, but most simply lack the funds and the dimensions to pull off Mrs. Kardashian-West's signature look. Sure, Kylie Jenner is transforming into Kim before our eyes, but with her Kylie's cash and willingness to go under the knife, she could turn herself into Danny Devito if she wanted to, so that's just cheating. For a natural Kim doppelganger, you need to check out the Instagram page of Toronto fashion blogger Kamilla Osman. Kamilla isn't quite as curvy as Kim (who is?), but of all the celebrity lookalikes who have gone viral in the past, we can't think of a more spot-on dead-ringer. We imagine it's only a matter of time before Kamilla gets the call to serve as Kim's on-call paparazzi decoy.  1. Kamilla Osman: Kim’s Twin From some angles it’s unbelievable how much Kamilla looks like Kim. And unlike her doppelgänger, Kamilla hasn’t had any work done to look like Kim! 2. Kamilla Osman Looks a LOT Like Kim Kardashian Kamilla Osman looks an awful lot like Kim Kardashian. In fact, she looks more like Kim than some of her sisters! (We’re looking at you, Khloe!) 3. Kamilla Osman: Kim Kardashian’s Twin In some pics, the resemblance between Kim and Kamilla is hard to believe. This one is unreal. 4. Kamilla Osman Poses Like Kim Kardashian Kamilla even has Kim’s favorite poses down. Observe, as she flawlessly executes the Coy Over-the-Shoulder glance. 5. Kamilla Osman: Or Is That Kim? Have we mentioned this girl looks like Kim Kardashian? Maybe this is an actual photo of Kim we threw into the mix just to mess with you! Just kidding, it’s Kamilla. You need to work on those trust issues. 6. Kamilla Osman: Fun House Mirror Kim Kardashian Kamilla’s butt isn’t as big as Kim’s. Kim’s waist isn’t as tiny as Kim’s. They’re both super hot. Terry Richardson Speaks Out of the Day

I have been following the Terry story and in doing that I’ve been calling out the Terry Groupie who is accusing Terry of abusing her. The fact is simple. She wants attention drawn to herself, whether he came on her face or not. The other fact is that 4 years down the road, the memories we have shift and change and become stories of their own that aren’t quite as relevant as the day after they happened. It’s easy to say I was paralyzed by the abuse, when she was probably really at a party the next day getting drunk and fucking the bartender…you know, it’s so easy to feel abused when having Terry cum on your face is the only thing you’ve accomplished and need to leverage in 4 years…. Everyone knows Terry shoots sex, that’s his whole career foundation. When he started doing mainstream campaigns in 2005, I didn’t understand how people would touch him, because all his published shit was hardcore “artistic” porn… This girl knew the fucking deal, tt was 4 years ago, and now that she’s decided that being a party slut who was impressed to be in Terry’s studio is bad for her lesbian, feminist, career, past…or maybe boyfriend…and it’s time to accuse a motherfucker because everyone’s doing it.. just because she figures it will get her name out there… That said, Terry, who never speaks on this shit, even though he should, because not speaking on it will make people think he did it, or that he is guilty, based on his archive of work…and I am posting it…because I appreciate what he said and how he said it… #FREETERRY Four years ago, I chose to primarily ignore a cycle of Internet gossip and false accusations against me. At that time, I felt that to dignify them with a response was a betrayal of my work and my character. When these allegations resurfaced over the past few months, they seemed especially vicious and distorted, moving outside the realm of critical dialogue and becoming nothing more than an emotionally-charged witch hunt. Enabled and protected by the freewheeling and often times anonymous nature of the Internet, people have become comfortable concocting hate-filled and libelous tales about my professional and personal lives. In writing this, I make a humble attempt at correcting these rumors, because I have come to realize that absent my voice in the conversation, all that remain are the lies. When I moved to New York in 1990 to take pictures, a lot of my work was a documentation of my life in the East Village; it was gritty, transgressive, and the aesthetic broke with the well-lit, polished fashion images of the time. My first big campaign, shot in 1994, was a provocative picture of a couple embracing in a bar. It was a shocking image for its time and the first instance a photograph of this nature was used in a major fashion advertisement. Like Robert Mapplethorpe, Helmut Newton, and so many others before me, sexual imagery has always been a part of my photography. Ten years ago, in 2004, I presented some of this work at a gallery show in New York City, accompanied by a book of the photos. The show was very popular and highly praised. The images depicted sexual situations and explored the beauty, rawness, and humor that sexuality entails. I collaborated with consenting adult women who were fully aware of the nature of the work, and as is typical with any project, everyone signed releases. I have never used an offer of work or a threat of rebuke to coerce someone into something that they did not want to do. I give everyone that I work with enough respect to view them as having ownership of their free will and making their decisions accordingly, and as such, it has been difficult to see myself as a target of revisionist history. Sadly, in the on-going quest for controversy-generated page views, sloppy journalism fueled by sensationalized, malicious, and manipulative recountings of this work has given rise to angry Internet crusades. Well-intentioned or not, they are based on lies. Believing such rumors at face value does a disservice not only to the spirit of artistic endeavor, but most importantly, to the real victims of exploitation and abuse. People will always have strong opinions about challenging images, and the dichotomy of sex is that it is both the most natural and universal of human behaviors and also one of the most sensitive and divisive. Over the course of my career, I have come to accept that some of my more provocative work courts controversy, and as an artist, I value the discourse that arises from this. I can only hope for this discourse to be informed by fact, so that whether you love my work or hate it, you give it, and me, the benefit of the truth.
