It looks like even more of Vicki Gunvalson’s dirty laundry is about to become public as a judge refused to seal documents related to a recent lawsuit. The Real Housewives of Orange County star and her controversial boyfriend Brooks Ayers are embroiled in a legal dispute over Vicki’s vodka line. The duo sought a protective order preventing “confidential, propriety, or private information” from being exposed in court, but their request was denied. Vicki argued that the two “are celebrities, and tabloids and other news media have shown an interest in publishing information about their lives.” In fact, she argues regarding items such as the video of Brooks Ayers admitting he cheated on Vicki with hookers, some of that stuff is already out there. The Bravo stars tried hard to protect “all items or information that are produced or generated in disclosures or responses to discovery in this matter.” U.S. Magistrate Judge George Foley Jr. shut down the twosome’s request, claiming they didn’t adequately prove the material needed to stay private. Gunvalson pulled the plug on her Vicki’s Vodka brand amid the legal battling that has seen both her name and Brooks’ dragged through the mud. Vicki has stood by Brooks despite of his alleged history of violence and other seedy activities, while he claims that all of this was a long time ago . While the world is still reeling from Miley Cyrus’ gyrations at the VMAs, the dramatic conclusion to The Real Housewives of Orange County season 8 will hopefully take our minds off Hannah Montana’s Humpty Dancing. Did anyone else ever imagine Miley Cyrus and the OC housewives being mentioned in the same sentence? Yeah, me neither. Anyway. Let’s get to it with our THG +/- recap! Andy’s first question for Heather is about her house and the offer they couldn’t refuse. The model of their new house is built and they hope to break ground by December. Plus 8? Next he brings up Heather’s return to acting and Terry’s many attempts at joking his way through the stress of flying solo. Heather defends their on-camera fighting as part of real life after being together for 16 years. Plus 15 . A viewer makes the comment that Heather should’ve just given Terry his onion rings because he gives her so much. Heather scores points with stay at home moms everywhere when she says she’s actually providing him with a pretty fabulous life, too. Plus 25. Alexis blames the editing of the past four years for the reason Jim has looked like such a gross douche. Not the fact that he might actually be a gross douche. Briana wasn’t happy with the way Ryan treated Lydia’s mother but defended him because he was apparently taking Vicki’s lead. She won’t talk about her husband who is overseas, but she’ll say she cleaned red wine and mud off the couch at the end of the night. Minus 6 Lydia calls her on that insinuation, rightfully so. Plus 8 . Now that Briana and Troy have moved out, Brooks still isn’t coming over to Vicki’s. They’re together but not together. Briana and Vicki say that the Brooks-can’t-be-here story was misconstrued. He was never not allowed at the house. He just wasn’t allowed at the house when Briana, Troy, or Ryan were there. And they lived there? Briana says that Brooks has proven himself to be a man she cannot trust around her family and believes he’s disrespected her and her mother. Vicki admits that they see each other occasionally but that Brooks has been disrespectful to her but won’t give specifics. Minus 14. The ladies give her grief for making excuses for him. When Briana continues discussing Brooks and says that Brooks discussed the size of Little Brooks, Vicki gets up and walks away. After a commercial break, Brooks joins the ladies. He tells Briana he’s sorry and she asks for specifics. He goes back to 2007 and says he’s sorry she saw an email between himself and Vicki while Vicki was still married to Donn. Wait a minute. Vicki’s still married to Donn. Eh. Technicalities, right? Briana has a bullet list of things she wants Brooks to apologize for, chief among them is a recording of him telling Ryan that Ryan should start hitting her to get her to fall in line. Minus Infinity. He blames it on drunken ramblings and Briana brings up the fact that she was abused as a child while the rest of the ladies attempt to skewer Brooks. Except for Lydia who turns into a crying mess and has to excuse herself. Brooks says the comment to start hitting Briana was taken out of context. Vicki says she’s done with the show and Andy has to call her back to the couch. She insists that Brooks has never hit her and that’s supposed to make everything better. They start to roll the montage of Vicki’s relationship dilemmas and Briana and Brooks are too busy going at one another for us to miss that entertainment. Minus 38. Alexis says that Vicki needs to listen to the tape so she can hear it for herself. Heather asks if Vicki’s reluctant to listen to the tape because then she’ll have to make a choice. Vicki doesn’t answer. Minus 12. Tamra has lots of thoughts on Brooks and Vicki and Briana. She’s threatened bodily harm to Brooks if he hurts Vicki. She feels like Vicki is making excuses for Brooks. This is Weak Vicki. Heather says that maybe this is the time for Vicki to move on from Brooks because she might love him but he might not be the right one for her. Vicki starts to cry as Briana talks about how this is the only source of “ick” in her life. Gretchen says she hates to see Vicki crying because she doesn’t want Vicki not to be with the person that she loves. Awww, Gretch. Tamra says that Briana has seen text messages from Brooks to Vicki calling Vicki fat and ugly and disgusting. Brooks and Vicki don’t believe that those messages exist. Minus 8. Briana tells Andy that all of this is coming from a place of loving her mother. Brooks says he loves her enough to let her go and tells her she should listen to those who’ve known her longer. Gretchen asks her if that’s what she wants and Vicki compares Slade and Brooks and everyone starts to feel grossed out by that comparison. Vicki says the world hated Slade and Gretchen says “well, okay, not the whole world…” Brooks says that the thing he has to do is exit Stage Right because of the turmoil his presence causes in Vicki’s family and friendships. He leaves and Vicki breaks down sobbing. Heather, Alexis, Tamra, and Lydia console her. Briana does not. Minus 40. As the reunion comes to a close, Andy asks for their final thoughts. Lydia says she feels like she’s been punched in the head. Alexis feels bad for a lot of people. Heather had a difficult, yet fun and exciting year and calls that the balance of life. Tamra had her best year yet. Gretchen was hurt by some of the friendships and says she’ll always defend her own honor but she’s happy to be engaged to Slade. Here’s a look at what The Bachelorette spoilers indicate about this evening’s finale, why they could be wrong, and why they’re probably not wrong … The Bachelorette Season Finale Preview (Part II) First, a brief rundown on last week’s drama: After two fabulous dates with Chris and Drew, Brooks CRUSHED Des with the revelation that he’s not ready. Awkwardness and tears ensued like never before on this show. Which is certainly saying something. As is the fact that, unheard of in The Bachelorette universe, there was no rose ceremony, no elimination … nothing. All three finalists are still technically in the mix … or are they? Throughout the spring and summer, spoilers have been spotty, but more or less consistent. The consensus has been that Brooks wins, or no one does. While there’s been plenty of chatter about how The Bachelorette spoilers were “wrong” in light of last week’s exit by Brooks, consider these points: There’s still the second half of the season finale to go. The spoilers aren’t inconsistent with any of this. The Bachelorette story editors are masters. We’re not insinuating that their breakup was staged, merely that Brooks may not be gone for good. Did he even leave Antigua after departing in the car? We have no idea yet, and he could quickly turn around and change his mind, proposing and living happily ever after with Desiree. It’s possible, even likely. Why? ABC’s episode synopsis says Desiree is ready to go home after being left “devastated, heartbroken and hopeless” on the edge of a dock. The 27-year-old bridal stylist will now be forced to decide if “she can move forward with the other two men or if her hope of finding love will be ruined.” “The final days of Desiree’s journey are filled with questions. If she does see promise in either Chris or Drew, will she introduce them to her family?” “Whether they meet her family or not, will Desiree’s brother, Nate, play a role in sabotaging her quest for love again? Desiree must look inward.” She must consider “if the love she has always wanted is right in front of her, or if her heartache over Brooks will crush her dreams of finding a soul mate.” Brooks Forester Dumps Desiree Hartsock If Brooks Forester was her top pick all along, as we’ve been inclined to believe, this synopsis suggests that the season finale is still all about Brooks. Des has already lamented that Chris and Drew are “amazing, unreal guys” who are in love her, but “I just can’t love them as much” and for her “it’s over.” If she simply carried on in Brooks’ absence and chose one of them, why the cliffhanger? And why the synopsis above that teases two hours of filler? Long story short, we’re likely in for two more heartbreaking splits tonight. The only question is whether Des leaves single or together with Brooks. If we’re wrong, and she merely gets engaged to Drew or Chris, that would easily go down as the biggest shocker in Bachelorette history, bar none. But we’re almost certain it’s Brooks or no one, and confident they’re engaged. That’s been the rumor all season long, and those supposedly in the know have not wavered – even if Des’ brother Nate says Reality Steve is wrong. Regarding that recent boast by Nate, here are some other scenarios we could see playing out, absent a proposal by Brooks and acceptance by Des: Brooks returns … with no ring. He apologizes and they agree to date, figure things out, etc. So he wins the Final Rose, but does not propose. Brooks returns … but Des begins to second-guess his intentions and seriousness after speaking with Chris, then REJECTS his proposal. Brooks returns … and gets engaged to Des … but not on the season finale itself. Maybe it happens on the After the Final Rose special? Perhaps a combination of 2 and 3? There could be a twist, but from everything we’ve heard, and seen, Desiree Hartsock and Brooks Forester are together. That’s what we’ve got for you heading into tonight. Now it’s time for your take! While careful not to reveal The Bachelorette spoilers concerning next Monday’s finale, Desiree Hartsock is speaking out about last night’s events. In a shocking twist, Brooks Forester vaguely, awkwardly dumped her in an epic breakup that resulted in endless tears and consumed an hour of TV. Heading into next week, so many questions linger. Is Brooks gone for good? Is Des done for good after this rejection? What about Chris and Drew? Do either stand a chance? Malia Brooks – a 32-year old teacher at Garden Grove Elementary School in Simi Valley, California – was arrested this week on charges that she conducted multiple sex act with a minor. The identity of the victim is being withheld, but he is reportedly a sixth grader under the age of 14. Brooks, meanwhile, is divorced with two children and her defense attorney has already claimed she suffers from some kind of mental illness. According to KTLA, authorities were notified of Brooks’ alleged conduct by the Simi Valley Unified School District in February. Brooks was placed on administrative leave at that time and police have been conducting and investigation ever since. She resigned from her teaching post a few days prior to her June 10 arrest and school district officials are cooperating with Simi Police in the case.

Tamra called it that Vicki would want to give her business advice and almost instantly, Vicki starts asking about insurance and budget and then pans Tamra for going in on the studio with Eddie instead of doing it totally on her own. Lydie, the new housewife, has been married for 7 years and has two sons, Stirling and Maverick. Their goal as parents is to keep the boys grounded. He has to do pull-ups before they can go on their date. Minus 25. Lydia says they live within their means as they get into an Aston Martin to drive to the harbor to get on their yacht to go to dinner. She drinks lemon drop martinis. A personal favorite of mine. Plus 10 . Tamra and Vicki decide to go to dinner. It’s awkward. There’s lots of staring and “ummmm” and “soooo.” Vicki says “you’re hurt, but I’m really hurt.” Way to avoid any responsibility at all, Vic. Minus 5 . Tamra thinks Vicki’s blaming her for everyone hating Brooks so that she won’t have to blame Briana. Ding ding ding!! We have a winner! Tamra tells Vicki to be happy and they toast to not saying mean things to each other. At Casa Dubrow, the family’s getting ready to go to Temple. Heather tells Terry it’s time for him to start getting up to work out in the morning because he’s sacrificing family time for fitness. He plans to atone for his bad jokes and non-diaper changing ways. Plus 8 At Temple, Colette turns into the Honey Badger. She don’t give a… If Heather made it to kid #4 before getting a willful one, she got lucky. Tamra’s four weeks away from the gym’s opening and she’s planning a dinner party for the girls. She wants them to see the space before it’s finished. In a phone call, Vicki tells Tamra she wants to invite Alexis to the party. That goes about as well as expected. Tamra’s obviously not a fan of the idea, but she tells Vicki that if she’s sure she wants Alexis to be her plus one, then go for it. Oh, Vicki. Way to derail the friendship train.
