I apologize in advance. This is just awful. Circling the web is the following picture of Miley Cyrus and while many people have warned Liam Hemsworth to look away, I think it’s best if we all look away. Why? For the love of all that is holy, WHY?!?! The tongue, the oversized head made of unknown material but what looks to be rotting away, the red nails against creepy fake flesh…. Thanks a lot Miley Cyrus , I’ll send my therapy bills your way. Where’s the brain bleach when you really need it?
Lindsay Lohan is out of rehab and back making the Hollywood rounds. Last night she stopped by Chelsea Lately and had a bit of fun with Harry Styles’ GQ interview . Check out Lindsay on Chelsea Lately below! Linday Lohan on Chelsey Lately Apparently rehab did its job because Lohan is looking quite put together. Skin is glowing, hair seems as if it probably doesn’t feel like straw… good things. And she was funny! Hopefully this is the beginning of a good run for the star.
Justin Bieber’s alleged attack on a member of the paparazzi – who accuses him of roughing him up and leaving him in need of medical attention – is clearly BS. Can you see Justin Bieber roughing someone up? Seriously? That’s beside the point, though. Whatever happened, Biebs’ altercation is just the latest in a long string of tense run-ins between stars and the media who cover the celebrity gossip we crave. Here’s a look back at seven of the most memorable: Bald Britney Spears Attacks Paparazzi 1. Britney Spears : After a downward spiral that saw her shave her head, file for divorce and deliver her second child in the span of a year, Spears suffered a meltdown in February 2007 that saw her violently attack a paparazzo’s car with an umbrella: 2. Russell Brand : Katy Perry’s ex recently gave a whole new meaning to the term “dropped call” as he grabbed a photographer’s iPhone and flung it through a nearby window. Brand later turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest. 3. Kanye West : The rapper racked up three misdemeanor charges in 2008 after he was arrested for allegedly wrestling with a photographer at LAX, grabbing his camera and smashing it on the floor. The charges were eventually dropped. 4. Alec Baldwin . The actor, whose fiery temper has led to some nasty public incidents, was actually placed under citizen’s arrest in 1995 after he allegedly punched a cameraman and broke his nose. A jury determined that he had acted in self-defense. The comedian later joked, “Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iPhone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory .” 5. Sean Penn : The two-time Oscar winner reportedly found a photographer in his hotel bedroom in China and dangled him from the ninth-floor balcony. Penn, never one to hold back, was reportedly charged with attempted murder for that charade but fled the country before authorities could nab him. 6. Lindsay Lohan : Driving over a paparazzo’s foot is just one entry on her laundry list of legal woes. Some people simply should not drive cars. 7. Bieber . Just by getting in the guy’s grill, Justin earned our respect.

Hugh Grant’s baby mama Tinglan Hong is going to extremes to protect her privacy. A British High Court approved an injunction on behalf of the actress, with whom Hugh had an unplanned child in September, forbidding paparazzi from snapping pics of her and the newborn outside her London home or in the street. She welcomed Grant’s first child , a girl, in late September. Per the BBC, a judge granted the court order on November 11 stating that celebrity gossip media members were making the 31-year-old’s life “unbearable.” Consequently according to the court , Hong, whom Grant is no longer seeing, has been forced to change her phone number after receiving “terrifying” calls. The little bundle of joy is a girl, but Tinglan Hong has apparently not settled on a name. Instead the court refers to her in court docs by the initials KLM. “While Hugh Grant is very well known, the first claimant [Ms. Hong] never sought any publicity or been known to the public for any reason,” wrote the judge. “She and Mr. Grant did their best to keep private the fact that the second claimant was their child and do not know how the information reached the public.”
Gym, tan, lawsuit? It’s another ugly legal situation for Mike Sorrentino. This time, the Jersey Shore star wants to make sure his GTL trademark is intact, which means suing a random ass guido-themed lifestyle company for ripping off The Situation’s brand. The lawsuit has been filed … but does it have merit? Don’t cry, Mike … it’s gonna be alright dawg . Sitch’s cease and desist letter to a website called MyGTLFuel (dot) com claims they’d better quit exploiting his trademark or legal action will be a-comin’. The site, which sells everything from energy shots to tanning lotion, hasn’t gone anywhere yet, as its owner, Dana Valentino, says there’s no trademark. According to Valentino, Sitch applied for the “GTL” trademark, but doesn’t legally own it … yet. He wants to settle this amicably but NOT close up shop. Mike is also involved in a legal dispute with Abercrombie .
Stop us if you’ve heard this one, but Lindsay Lohan is a Class A F–k-Up whose myriad probation violations have her potentially facing a serious jail sentence. The case is beyond complicated, but the actress could be sentenced to a year and a half in jail if Judge Stephanie Sautner decides she violated her probation. Lohan claims people are trying to make an example out of her and she’s done nothing wrong. But that defense has more cracks than her brittle teeth . Lohan’s biggest problem is her criminal history . Based on a 120-day suspended sentence for shoplifting, time served under house arrest, and prior DUIs, Lindsay could be thrown in jail for a long, long time. The judge has lots of questions at LiLo’s probation progress hearing next week, including why she was booted out of her community service program recently. Lindsay was a no-show nine times at the Downtown Women’s Center, and when she did bother to show up, did not do so for the required four-hour minimum. Lohan, who was kicked out of the program and reassigned to the American Red Cross, has also been skipping her weekly, mandatory psychiatrist appointments. She professional excuse maker claims she did a bunch of therapy sessions by phone. We’ll see if Sautner is moved at all. The fit hits the shan Wednesday a.m. Tell THG: Should LiLo go to jail and do hard time?
It’s long been suspected, but former Heroes star Zachary Quinto made the announcement this week: he’s gay. Coming off a performance on stage in Angels in America – playing a character who abandons his AIDS-stricken boyfriend – Quinto spoke to New York Magazine this week and said the off-Broadway play was “the most challenging thing I’ve ever done as an actor, and the most rewarding,” adding: “At the same time, as a gay man, it made me feel like there’s still so much work to be done, and there’s still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed.” Quinto will next be seen on the FX drama American Horror Story . Earlier today, Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker announced his verdict regarding Prop 8, the controversial ballot proposition that was passed in November 2008 and banned gay marriage in California. Judge Walked deemed the amendment a violation of the Constitution’s equal protection clause under the 14th Amendment and overturned it. THG’s reaction to this news? Hooray! There’s no practical argument against the harmless institution of gay marriage, and every reason to treat homosexuals the same as heterosexuals. As for the reaction in Hollywood, an outspoken community when it came to this issues? Here are a handful of responses: Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger : “This decision affirms the full legal protections and safeguards I believe everyone deserves.” Ellen DeGeneres : “Equality won!” Portia de Rossi : “I am ecstatic that proposition 8 has been overturned in the state of California. This is an incredibly exciting and historical day and a big step towards equal rights for all.” Lance Bass : “Congrats on the overturning of Prop 8!!!!” Pink : “It’s a good day!” Adam Lambert : it’s time to “throw glitter on this barn! Ricky Martin : “YEAHHHHH!!!!! PROP8UNCONSTITUTIONAL MOVING FORWARD!!!!!!!!” Kelly Osbourne : “so happy over the news on prop8 its about time!” Kim Kardashian : “Prop 8 was struck down! This news is amazing!!!! Its about time! Congrats to everyone!” Shanna Moakler : “Tonight we celebrate! EQUALITY and LOVE for all! This is so much bigger then [sic] marriage, it’s about wisdom, compassion and knowing we CAN be heard, action DOES make a difference!” Samantha Ronson : “Song Of The Day: Let’s Get Married- Jagged Edge.” Olivia Munn : “Prop 8 Overturned!!! Equal rights for everyone! Nice to be out of the 1950s…” Seth Myers : “Prop 8 was always my least favorite Prop. Favorite Prop: Joe.”
Brian Williams, Katie Couric and Diane Sawyer are teaming up to Stand Up to Cancer for the second time in three years. The charitable telecast, which raised $100 million in the fall of 2008, will air on September 10. The inaugural broadcast’s lineup featured such A-list stars as Beyonce, Miley Cyrus , Jennifer Aniston, Ellen DeGeneres and Jennifer Garner. “Stand Up To Cancer is a populist movement,” said Couric. “People of all ages are getting involved… Not only people who have cancer or who are dealing with it, but young people who want a cancer-free world in their future – we really think that’s finally attainable.” Added Sawyer: “The broadcast is a way of saying, ‘Together, we can do this.’ And yes, we’re losing one person every minute, but 11 million survivors are out there; living proof that this can be done.” Tune in September 10 and help raise money for this important cause.
